Front lady girls just suck to talk to or even interact with. When I got to the front to check my stuff out they visibly had a terrible attitude. Rushing through not responding to people talking to them. Just terrible attitudes. **** When you have the manager herself looking like she hates the world and everyone in it then it's not really inviting. The overweight woman whose younger and always checking out is the rudest person with the worst looking face on her. Honestly just her face is so depressing to look at I asked to deal with someone else. THEN the manager comes over and visibly all mad & sassy... she rushed through it all and even made an issue out of me taking the the basket outside to my car which was parked right in front of the doors on and running. It woulda still been on the same property nothing left or stolen but she acted like I was going to steal from her. Can't believe I'm reviewing Ross! Ok, I had to come on and share because my husband and I had a wonderful experience in Ross this weekend. Lol now, let me explain. We haven't stepped foot in a Ross to shop in probably over two years because the one by us (for lack of better words) just plain sucks. However, this location was packed with items!! Omg I couldn't believe the deals we found. I picked up an entire workout outfit for under 20 bucks! I found cute tops for work and weekend outfits and my husband found some things as well. We were in heaven. Kid section doesn't have much but don't care, I shop other places for my child. I was just really excited because I go all over the place to get my clothing so this was nice walking into a store and picking up 5 things to buy! I'm so excited about this experience that I'd plan on going into my local Ross this weekend. This location is also very clean and organized, another issue that's kept me from Ross over the years! I went to Ross in the Cascade center yesterday and was treated to a lecture by the fitting room attendant telling me i needed to place my items on a rack where she spread them out presumably to make sure i didn't hide any additional items and proceeded to give instructions if how the clothes needed to be correctly hung back on the hanger right-side out and placed back on the rack for her inspection when i finished. I decided to purchase 2 out of 5 of the items and handed her back 3 when she demanded I place the other 2 items back on her inspection rack first where she made a big display of spreading them to check them. I have not shopped at Ross in a while, have things changed?? I get shoplifting exists, however there is no need to treat all customers that way or for that matter give me prison matron instructions on how the trying on transaction will go. I always put clothes back on hangers correctly and try to be conscientious about this but frankly that is their job as an employee if I choose not to. I do not remember the Bend South or any other store ever doing this. I am not sure if this is something new and if it is then I won't shop at Ross any more. The final straw was my card full of items at check out and finding out you are not allowed to use the card to get to your car and being told corp policy, complain to corp. The savings were not worth the treatment! read more

Okay, so there are two Ross's in town. I really prefer this one. It is consistently clean, well stocked, and more often than not, the workers are really nice. I have found tons of great outfits and shoes here, and there are even some electronics items (e.g. inexpensive chargers, hair clippers and beard trimmers). Generally, I have found Ross, TJ Maxx, et al. to be dirty and disorganized with workers who could care less that you are there, but I've really enjoyed this store and will be back. If you try on clothes, be aware that they are really strict about you hanging up your clothes on the rack in front of the changing rooms before you try them on. It's a company policy, and they check the tags. It's not a big deal, but if you're not used to it, it's kind of weird the first time. I understand why companies have these policies, but I don't particularly like them, even though I have nothing to hide and am not going to be pulling tags off before I go into the changing room. read more

For the love of god, get someone to work the dressing rooms! No one wants to wait 20 min while teenagers in pairs mess around in both stalls. No one wants to take their clothes off in a little stall in the middle of the store with people shopping just 3 feet away on all 4 sides of you! This is ridiculous. I have stopped buying clothes here because they have stopped using the dressing rooms and forced people into these two stupid little stalls. read more
