My in-laws got me some free money to see "Ross!" Ok, I'm SO NOT cheating on my hubby. In fact, I believe "Ross," in this case, "Ross Dress for Less," is virtually gender-less. February in a retail store is really a transitional month. Many discount places like RDFL wouldn't be fully-stocked since major markdowns just happened in January. Technically, this RDFL location is in the Village of Cicero. Their Yelp page needs some corrections on this. West end of "Little Village" is north of Cicero village limit. The beauty department is always atrocious in any RDFL location I've visited. Customers, please go easy on those bottles and try not to open them. Rosa J. and other innocent patrons don't want to experience the "Pandora's Box" effect. Yes, your actions may seem innocuous, yet consequences are going to huge and detrimental. Women's clothing wasn't doing too hot, either. That department apparently has been picked over. Their home department was semi-decent. I spotted the Chinese zodiac mugs. However, they were missing the ox and the tiger. With that being said, I had to pass at the this time due to the incompletion. My one (1) and a half stars were given to the store manager who was vigilant enough to notice the line to the cashier was getting uncontrollably long. He called in an additional cashier to help out. Thank you for your wise decision-making skills. The remainder of the stars went to the cashier who rang me up. Even though she didn't initially know how to process a Ross gift card, she didn't frenetically press the wrong keys and immediately ask for assistance. Well, she did attempt to figure this out on her own. At least she knew that wasting time would have a negative effect on their checkout efficiency. By the way, if you ever return an item that you purchased at RDFL, plan extra time since there's usually one (1) designated cash register open for this purpose, unless they get extremely busy. This RDFL location isn't really conveniently accessible via public transportation. I know 54B (South Cicero) and 35 (31st./35th.) have a stop at the corner of Cicero and 30th. There's no pedestrian traffic light and is kind of dangerous to cross the road. read more

Where do I begin. Well when you first walk in the first thing i noticed was how crowded and disorganized it was. Everything was on the floor and there was no room to really walk anywhere. Got lucky with finding a couple cool toys for my baby but that's it. I didnt even want to look through the clothes. Never again do I want to come back. read more

This Ross is a complete mess. It is torn up from the floor up. I walked into this store and I wanted to walk back out. This location gave me the feeling of a badly organized thrift store. I felt like the shelves of clothing were going to fall down on my head and crush me to death. I had to look up at the ceiling to combat my anxiety while in the check out line. The check out line is a complete nightmare. There were only two cashiers and it felt like hundreds of customers were in line. There was crap thrown everywhere. I was just there to return 1 item and I spent 30 minutes of my life in hell. I almost had an anxiety attack. Once I approached the cashier I noticed that she was pregnant. I instantly felt upset. It should be illegal for an expecting mother to work in those conditions. I prayed that she did not have to help clean up. I will never step foot back into this store. The store manager should be held responsible. read more

This is a call for the owners of these great stores !! You need to pay attention and give a good training to employees and managers to do their job! This is a holiday season, you know there are too many people buying for Christmas. I was at the store at Cicero Illinois, and I took my time to choose different items for my Christmas gifts, I was looking at the gym articles and when I look for my cart, I never found it!! I looked around the store and didn't find it, I ask to an employer and he told me that they take out and move the carts full of items when they don't see anyone around it, and giving me an actitud he told me that he can't do anything. I request then to talk with a manager , and they call them and told me to wait for them, I waited for long time and none manager came, they called them again and told me that they were busy at the front of the store (when I asked for them at the beginning they told me managers were in the back of the store)which means they didn't care about my issue. I decided to leave the store and when I was going the the exit(at the front of the store) managers were doing nothing, they were no busy!!! They just didn't want to show their faces! You've got to love Ross! It's a fun place to shop they have a huge selection of excellent quality items and and we have definitely saved money and you will too! I do have to say, if you find something you like, don't hesitate, just get it, because it probably won't be there the next time you come back. Everyone is very nice and helpful! read more

This Ross is a mess. I stepped inside to casually browse and I felt like everything had been ransacked (imagine post Black Friday type of mess). It was also incredibly disorganized. I feel like you would really have to dig around to find something. The clearance racks were almost all empty. Things were out of place. Skip this Ross! read more

Wow. This place is disgusting. The most narrowest aisles, clothes all over the place including the floors. If I was any bigger I wouldn't even fit in the aisles of this place. Not coming here anymore. This place gives me anxiety. This is the only Ross store I've been to that does the two tier clothing racks. I think it's a horrible idea even if they are trying to save space and get more items in. If you're short, you won't be able to reach the top rack. I think it's so stupid for them to do this. Makes the store look so messy (which in actuality, it is). read more

Worst Ross you can go to. They always have a huge line. Sometimes rhe line even extends to half way down the store. They will only have 3 cashiers open. If you come, expect to wait in line about 30 min read more

This is a really bipolar Ross. I would find larges in the smalls and vice versa so you really have to spend time looking and sorting. Most of the items are low-end, but there is a sprinkle of nicer items. I found a Lacoste sweater dress for $39, originally over $200 mixed in with brands that looked like they were private label knock-offs. Furniture selection was surprisingly good. There was a great selection of stands, drawers, coat rack holders, etc. that looked beautiful and reasonably priced. Worth a visit if you don't mind digging for deals or looking for pieces for your home. read more

This store is ultra-low end. It does not really compete with Marshalls/TJ Maxx but rather Conway/CW Price/Fallas (same company). Low quality junk. read more

The lady at the fitting room is the worst. I went in there today and she gave me a nasty attitude and was very rude for no reason. then she goes to her coworker to talk about me and laugh. I just thought, really?! Youre a grown woman stop acting like a dumb loser. I left everything because I don't need negativity when I'm trying to have fun time shopping. read more
