Pretty good selection, awesome and unexpected finds like character blankets! I frequent this location a lot (almost my whole life since I was 7 yrs old), sometimes it's messy and sometimes it's clean but honestly I blame the customers who don't pick up after their own mess. The staff is nice and help to the best that they can. A pretty good place to shop at and the checkout line does get long sometimes but it literally doesn't hurt to be patience. The Worst Customer Service Experience I've Had at Ross!! I have shopped at Ross many times, and although I've had some less-than-great experiences before, tonight was by far the worst. I understand that working a busy register can be stressful, and I was completely understanding when I realized that my phone wallet had unexpectedly lost my payment cards. I apologized, explained that I had cash in my car, and literally ran outside and back to get it. I was gone for less than a minute. Unfortunately, when I returned, I was treated in a way that I found extremely disrespectful and unnecessary. I tried to be polite and patient, but the interaction continued to escalate because of the employee's attitude toward me. At one point, I simply asked what the problem was and why I was being treated with such an attitude. I was told I could speak with a manager. I said I would rather just receive my refund and leave without purchasing the items. Instead, I was told, "No, you're going to purchase it," and my transaction continued. A manager eventually came over, but I did not feel that my concerns were taken seriously or that the situation was handled appropriately. I am intentionally leaving the specific details out of this review because I plan to contact Ross management directly about what happened, including the conduct of the employee and how the situation was handled by the manager. If this is not corrected, I will be including names in my updated review. I left the store extremely disappointed. Decided to check out this Ross location since I was in the area. Selection was horrible. Everything was just messy and unorganized. A lot of customers constantly blocking every area that I wanted to check out, I was soo over it. Also, a woman brought her large dog. I don't think it was a service dog. The woman was not blind nor needed some type of guidance. She seems like the type of person that just wanted to bring her dog to show off. A while back, my family's old mop had broke. The handle had just snapped and broke. It was awful. Eventually, my mom decided to come in here and look for something, and I guess she was able to find this mop and bucket. We tried it out and omg, the mop was better than the previous one. My autism tells me that this mop from this location is just the best. The mop was strong and good. It even deep cleaned the floors in my house, including my room. The prices on the clothes are not what you would find at a regular clothing store or even the ones next door to them. You can find anything from shoes, belts, home items, purses and many other things. The security and some cashiers are very kind and friendly but some are not. If you're lost or have a question, the staff placing the items back are not so courteous and sometimes clueless. They may not have your size or if you're a "Female" and looking in the "Women" section or vice versa, I would recommend also checking the opposite gender location as well because you may find it there. read more

The manager has over 14 people in line and will not call anybody else to work. It is Friday afternoon Several people in line asked him politely and he refused. 1 register Friday afternoon at 330 pm? Really ? To add insult to injury there was a nurse in line behind me and she asked the manager several times on the register to bring somebody else out and he wouldn't do it. !! This nurse walked out and 2 other people left behind her. I would have to say Ross lost at least a 200 plus dollars in sales. Not bad. Three quarters of the bridal party got to Anaheim/Cypress early so we hung out and shopped. I picked up two super cute dresses for work, and my girls also picked up some dresses. I also found some cute calendar and notebook type things that were significantly discounted. We had lots of time before our friend got to town so we had the hour plus needed to go through a Ross. The sizes were where they were supposed to be for the most part and the fitting rooms were reasonably clean. I treat shopping at Ross similar to a treasure hunt. Sometimes I am able to find a great deal/item but most of the time, for me, I don't. One thing is for sure, I would have to search, dig, and weed through items to find my gem. I particularly like shopping at this location because it is fairly organized, less customer traffic, has wider shopping aisles, and has a good variety of home merchandise. I came here today only to browse but ended up making my first purse purchase ever. All my previous purses that I have ever owned has either been given to me, a hand me down, or I did not carry any purse at all. They had a good selection of purses and I was glad that the merchandise was in good condition. I was fortunate enough to find my ideal purse: sturdy, plain, and conservative. Sold! Customer service was good. Two registers were available for purchases and there were only 4 people in line, waiting to be serviced. The lady that completed my transaction was friendly and courteous. Came to this Ross with a friend. At first glance, I thought most of the selections were really matronly and so I had no patience to siphon through the racks. I found 2 items and was done. My girlfriend on the other hand had other ideas for me. She manically went through the racks and believe it or not found about 25 items for me to try on. Boy oh boy!! OK, so I tried them all and lo and behold found 3 items I quite liked. Honestly, I shop like most guys do. I go in, hone in on the colors I like and sift through, quickly grab and try on, leave. I don't have the patience to go through aisles and aisles and rack after rack for clothes. Even though I found some clothes I like, I wouldn't say this was one of the better Ross stores around. In fact, it's really average to say the least. However, there are enough of these stores around for me to go to and since Cypress isn't really near where I live, I'll say this may be the one and only time I shop at this location. read more

I enjoy shopping at discount retail stores. The lower prices allow me to feel like I actually have money because I can buy more for the buck. At times, brand names too. I have to make a promise not to come back here everything is more expensive and less selection but when you do finally go to checkout 10:30am on a Monday there's one lady doing check outs and many women just beeping away in the aisles but the lines are backed up and the two women in front of me have more stuff and mind you there's children being made to wait in shopping carts. I haven't been here in a while and I think it's because of the shitty service I got during one of the last times I was here. I saw a watch that I liked here and was looking for someone to come help me. I saw a lady organizing clothes behind me so I went to her and asked if she or anyone could get the watch out for me to examine. She said okay. I waited at the jewelery stand for her but she didn't come back. Instead, she had to go open a register and help other customers. So I waited more and no one seem to come by and help, so I went to the customer service desk and had to actually get it line because there was only one worker at that desk, but she was helping customers with their purchases. I waited until she was done and then I asked her to ring up someone to the jewelery desk. She said okay, looked over to the first lady that I asked to help me, and told that lady to help me at the jewelery desk when she was done with the customers in her line. When that lady was told that, she looked at me then back at her co-worker and didn't say anything, but quickly nodded. I moved out of the line I was in and over to the lady that was supposed to help me after she cleared the customers in her line. As I waited in front of her, she kept looking at me as she helped other customers. I waited for another 10 minutes until she was done. After she was done, she walked over to the customer service desk to attain the key to unlock the glass windows at the jewelery desk. As she did that, I walked over there to meet her. I stood there waiting for her and then I saw her coming over. As she came over, another older female customer strolled to the jewelery stand with her son in the cart and looked at the jewelery. When the worker finally arrived she did the utmost annoying thing. Instead of helping me, she went over to the side where the older female customer was and helped her out by asking, "Is there anything you want to see?" OMG. I was so annoyed and literally on fire because I have been waiting one fucking hour to see a damn watch!!!!! I was so damn pissed, but I kept my cool, but really I was freaking burning up inside. That other customer looked at one piece of jewelery, put it back and continued to look. The worker, instead of coming over to me, stands there to wait for the other customer. Thankfully, the other customer told the worker that she'll ask for help if she wants to see anything else as in a mean to tell the worker go ahead and help someone else, ahem, like ME! When she walked over to me I saw it in her eyes that she knew what she had done (keep me waiting) was intentionally-- I just knew from the look of her eyes! Instead of just lashing out at her that moment, I calmly asked her for the watch, examined it, and decided I didn't want it. The thing was the worker gave me this vibe like I wasn't going to confront her, but boy was she freaking wrong! After giving back the watch, I asked her why she had helped another costumer before me once she knew I've asked her personally to help me, her co-worker had asked her to help me, and I've been waiting a very long time for her. I also reminded her that I was waiting for her in front of her damn cash register and she kept looking at me! Her freaking answer was, "I didn't see you". "I didn't see you." I find it impossible that she "didn't see me". Why? Well, let's recap. When I first walked in the store, I PERSONALLY asked her to help me or ring someone up to the jewelery stand to help me when she was putting clothes on the rack. I asked another worker to do the same thing, but that worker ended up yelling at her from across the registers only to tell her to help ME when she was done with the customers in her line. Then I walked over to her register to WAIT for her and during my wait there she kept LOOKING AT ME. After she was done w/the customers who were in her line, she remembered to go get the key for the jewelery stand, but for some reason she can't remember that she had someone to help AT THE JEWELERY STAND. I don't buy it. As you can tell, I was really heated and just told her I felt belittled and discriminated against. The funny thing is I did a persuasive speech for my Public Speaking class and it was about bad customer service and I used this case as an anecdote during my speech. One of my classmates asked, was the other older female customer at the jewelery stand WHITE? And I said yes. After hearing this, my classmate, and probably a few others, quietly and agreeably nodded their heads. Now you know why I felt discriminated. Besides this experience, I still once in a while visit different Ross locations because if you take the time to look, you really do find some good, cheap stuff. I've been so lucky and am so lucky that everytime I come here I always walk out with something either fitted dress shirts, shoes, shorts, etcetera etcetera. This Ross however is not the most organized and the cleanest Ross, I've been. Not a big deal for as long as what you are buying is clean, decent, and wearable. Terrible customer service. I was followed and treated like a thief the whole time. I have never stolen even when I was hungry. You can tell that they are former workers from a Mexican clothing store in mexico. When I went to Mexico maybe it's because I'm white but they treated me the same way when I try to go shopping for clothes at the swap meet in tecate Mexico. The floors we're sticky and you can tell they are supposed to be white. They need to hire some friendly people to work.
