This used to be my cheap go-to Ross when I lived in Cypress. I happen to stop by the other day while shopping with my mom. The variety of plus size clothes is much, much better here than the TJ Maxx couple doors down but it's still rather small. Lots of tops, hardly any bottoms. Not to be confused with Chandler Dress For More and Joey Dress While Hitting On Girls, this is a pretty good discount store. This is the a very popular Ross up in Cypress. It's right next to a bunch of other similar stories on the south side of 290 in a busy plaza area. Perhaps because it's busy, it's quite disorganized and sometimes I think they didn't find good staff yet. We found a few good things that we wanted in this store and we like shopping here and looking for items for both my Barbie and myself. Am I the only person who never finds anything good at Ross? I don't think so. I don't come here often at all just for that reason. I will say it was a little neater than the last time I came. This store I found a lot of baby stuff that I needed after going to tjmaxx and barely finding anything. A good assortment of baby clothes, blankets and tummy time mats. I even did a good percentage of Christmas shopping in here and managed to get 3 girls almost all gifts for $100. Employees are semi friendly they barely talk except for the man at the front he's really nice. Being pregnant I wish the carts were allowed to go outside I had to pick up four heavy bags and take them to my car. read more

I bought 2 duffel bags one was an Xl, and the other one was a mini bag for the gym and 2 shirts. At check out the cashier told me she put everything on the big duffel bag. I asked her "are you sure?" She confirmed. I then left to my trip and my other duffel bag was missing. read more

Usually don't find anything, so I almost didn't even bother but I did find at least a few things in there today. There is only one cashier and the "" loss manager was standing there, staring at the girl and they seem to be really too busy to bother was helping anybody. When I say too busy, I mean they weren't doing anything and seemed annoyed that I wanted to pay for the things that I picked out. Then they wanted me to take them off the hangers and hand it to them because again she just couldn't be bothered. I don't like my clothes literally wanted up and stuck in a bag so I didn't remove them from the hangers and handed them to her like that which seem to aggravate the poor little girl, I guess this day and age it's just too much to ask for war a younger person to give a crap about anything it is Ross discount I guess for a reason I noticed the corporate didn't respond to any of the other reviews so I'm sure they won't respond to this one either Lol the only reason I wanted to go purchase in expensive clothes is because I am losing a lot of weight and I didn't wanna spend much money on my clothes yet other than that no I will not be back PS Ross corporate people I spent $128 on your clothes read more

I used to love this location. Since the pandemic, this store has went to hell. It is soo unorganized and always a mess. This store is never stocked. Shelves are so bare. Very disappointing! read more

This location made me start shopping at Ross again. Clean and organized with a great and ever-changing selection and friendly, helpful staff. I know, I couldn't believe it either but over the past 6 months (during which I've been decorating a new house) I have been there at least three times a month and it has been consistently great in all aforementioned ways. The 2 stars are for the deals you can score- if you are in the mood for "hunting." It is annoying you can only take 8 items in the dressing room. I fully understand it is to prevent theft- but when you go into a dressing room there are tags all over the floor.... so it doesn't seem that is really helping. Not to mention the dressing rooms are pretty gross. The bathrooms... do not get me started. They were disgusting. I am pretty sure no one had attended to them in a few months. So bad I would prefer to leave and drive home and not purchase any items- rather than using that nasty restroom. read more

It's a typical ROSS except there was a COCKROACH in the fitting room. Also I had someone named Emilio who just checked me out with such an attitude. I understand that you're young and you need a job, but don't give me an attitude when I asked a simple question about the pricing on the machine. I love ross for a lot of reasons. I also love the selection they have at this store. Mainly because they have furniture which many ross stores that ive been to don't have. What's the reason for the three stars you say? Well the main reason is that I literally live here and the service to me us always an issue. The turn over rate is high and this store from what I can tell only seems to cater to one demographic. I cannot stand how the cashiers give special treatment to certain people. This is a business and businesses should cater to all people not just a certain group. I always seem to get attitude from the same lady whenever I have a return. For the most part this makes me not want to go in. But I love those deals. I feel like customer service evaluations should be in order. read more

This store always has dresses for a great price that fit me and my daughter! Their prices are unbelievably cheap, and the selection is wonderful. The cashier gave me an attitude when I walked up to her register to check out (because I thought she was the only one open). She told me, "Line's over there." (halfway across the store) When it was my turn, she closed the register and had me wait until the other cashier decided to open his register a couple of minutes later (apparently he was helping another customer out and has his light off).
