They have a lot of attractive sets. It's a little annoying to have sales people all over you, but it's just the way it is with furniture shopping. I got a lot of help from Gus C. He is a great salesman. He is very knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. When I wanted to roam around by myself, he let me. When I had questions, he was there to answer them. He always shared his knowledge on why and why not. If you are ready to purchase, I would look for him. The only thing you need to be careful about these guys is the prices. I saw this beautiful sofa/love seat set for $2400. If you love it, the price should not matter with 48 months no interest plan, theoretically. Frankly speaking, it does sting a little when you find the exact same product for $1500 and free shipping. This deal was only available in Chicago and North East area, but still, you realize they have a huge profit margin that they are working with. I strongly believe that the store and the salesman should make money off of your purchase. Just not $1000 for an item.

The day I visited they also had fresh coffee and pan dulce for customers! One of the owner's kids was nearby helping with internet stuff and the husband and wife team worked together to cut fabric and ring me up. The fabric selection is high quality, with many patterns and prints that reflect the region's Mexican/American culture. There's an absolutely gorgeous Cotton + Steel thread display of every imaginable color. Embroidery thread, sewing notions, and a few quilting patterns are also available. I already love this store and can't wait to see how they grow. Very excited to have this resource in Del Río!

If you find a nice Ashley furniture, these people can order it from a catalog and give you good price. Sometimes, the price was quoted similar to Ashley, sometimes, a lot lower. My friends had a problem with something they purchased and they came to pick up the item the next day to repair it. These people are not all over you when you walk in. I think they actually lack friendliness. Something is very comical about the way they are. They are good people. It's almost like they don't care too much if you buy or not. In my opinion, it is still worth your time if you are trying to find a good deal. Check them out.

I kind of lucked into the website of a local gun shop. They had a great price, and, since I had "registered" my e-mail at their recent 50th Anniversary event, I got a healthy discount too. So, I ordered it. Three days later it is here. I will pick it up on Monday. No transfer fees. No driving to a distant "metro area" to pick it up. And, I have a local contact for post purchase support. Win-Win-Win! I will certainly buy my next gun from them too.
