My sister and I brought my mother for a sit down tea room experience. I shared a finger food tier with my mother. It was lacking in appearance, taste, and quality. Just a bunch of random mundane things you'd find in a dollar general and not fresh. There was basically no wait for our order. It was very quick. Waitress brought one plate for two people lol. And I had to ask for the tea list. Young girl seemed put out the moment we came in. But tried to be more polite towards the end. She never asked how we were. We stayed for about 35m. They use HT tea which I'm not a fan of and they use only one tea bag for a shared 16-24oz tea pot. My mug was a little dirty and stained. We had to ask for sugar. My sister said her Ruben sandwich was great and her ice tea was fine. Disclosure: we're all from a large city and maybe this is high quality for this little town. One of the biggest off putting part was seeing the naked hairy arm pits of a large man while trying to enjoy a special semi eloquent daughter/mother date. We dressed up a little and are not loud people. There really should be a certain dress code and volume control (large man was part of a large loud party) for a "tea room". I would not return or recommend.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Small menu but the food is excellent…read more I would recommend to stop for lunch and also a small shop for unique Gifts.

Strawberry Tree - Fair clean bathroom/stock room. I highly recommend they invest $25 for a new towel seat. And have some covers available.

Buyer Beware -- Buyer Beware I love supporting family-owned…read moresmall business. When I saw the signs for Steeple Furniture, I thought it would be a great place to look for a sofa and a recliner as I had just moved to the area and did not have any family room furniture. I found a small sofa and a decent recliner and decided to make the purchase for about $1500. To be fair the sofa was listed as "As Is". A few months later I bought an adjustable Beauty Rest bed from them as well. As you might expect the arms on the sofa crumbled like they were made out of cardboard a few months later. I called the store, and they refused to do anything about it because it was purchased "As Is". I'm really not upset that they wouldn't repair it. I understand that it was "As Is". However, my understanding of "As Is" usually means that the business needs to clearance out last year's model to make room for new product, or it was an item returned from a previous owner, possibly something that was discontinued, but no. I was informed that the store regularly buys furniture of such low caliber specifically to sell "As Is". As they explained, "If you had bought a $3500 sofa, you wouldn't have this problem because they are made with real hard wood", as if trying to make me feel inferior to them or cheap. At this point in the conversation the customer service went out the window. The person on the other end lost any sense of politeness and grace. Again, I'm not upset that they wouldn't repair it. I'm upset that this family-owned generational business is PURPOSELY selling inferior products to customers and not telling them. If the sign on the sofa had read "As Is due to cheap materials" I probably would have kept looking. However, I assumed it was a discontinued item. Just remember that anything listed as "As Is" is made out of completely ill-suited materials, and they won't tell you until it breaks. The sad thing is that I've met the father owner as well as the daughter. If fact, she was the one that sold me the recliner. They are very nice people, that unfortunately sell inferior products Do better.

Stopped here just by chance as we saw the signs along the road. Quite surprised by the amount of…read morefurniture on display, much greater than No. Jersey stores. We were shopping specifically for an end table that we could not find anywhere else. Steeple had quite a selection of sizes and finishes to choose from. We selected a piece that is ideal for the spot in our home, and it was fairly priced. The sales staff was also very accommodating. A good place to check out.
