Oh geez, this is a weird place. The associate up front does greet you, so the first impression was good until I actually tried to navigate the store. There are wide open spaces that could easily hold things while the aisles in general are so narrow, a fully grown adult would struggle to walk through. The layout makes no sense. And then, I had to take random detours like a Sim in a deranged maze because entire aisles were blocked by bins, hanging racks, or tables. I was trying to find something small in the men's section for my son but if you're tall like me, forget about seeing what's on the shelf because it's almost completely inaccessible. I have to back away several feet and hunch over. Also, there were tags on men's shaving kit's with the box sealed, yet price tags were ripped off and you can tell the box is empty. Do better! I'm not coming back, and I would advise anyone considering this place to run. Run as fast and as far away as you can. This is the worst Ross I have ever walked into. read more

Wow what can i say, or where can i start to say the least. I am a very reasonable individual when it comes to working in retail and customer service industry. It was very clear that i was not welcome in this location to say the least. As I was shopping I notice a item that didn't have a price tag listed on it (mind you there was several items that didn't show price tag easy visible on it). As I stop NIYA which was the of the shift manager. I politely attempted to stop her saying excuse me several times - she then finally turned around in a very annoyances way saying what.. I was totally shock at her response I kinda chuckled a bit because it was relatable, again I get it we get busy at work at times and it's get hard I totally understand that. I proceeded to inform her that there a missing price tag on a item and there was no more of that exact item left that shows the price. She told me that front desk will be able to locate it in the system.. As I then walked to the front to finished up shopping I and several other customers head her (NIYA) say " I guess I can go do some more work". Again I was totally shocked. To be a manager and display these kinda actions on the work floor amongst customer was a EXTREMELY unprofessional & isn't leadership actions. The LAST STRAW: As I make may way to the checkout. I was greeted by the cashier, I explained what NIYA the manager told me the regarding the missing tag on a item. She search the system and found the price as I was fixing to agree on the price we both notice the item was damage. The cashier offer a discount. She called her manager, NIYA, to approve authorization to discount the damage item. she. As (NIYA) made her way to the cashier checkout NIYA replied with the a no. It wasn't so much what she said, it was how she said it and her tone and actions behind it. When she said no in a degrading tone I was taking back by her action that I was left with nothing to say. again I was once again shocked at her actions. it was as if she was annoyed or even worst disgusted - by me. I decided to not respond by her negative action Instead I swiped my card and left. When i purchased the items I left put thing in my vehicle. Got in the car and sat for a bit and started think about what just happened for a second. That experience wasn't good, it didn't feel good or Pleasent. I'm spending money I've worked extremely hard to get and to be treated like less of a person in a establishment like this was horrible. I RETURNED EVERY*THING! I wasn't going to be putting my money into a business that had a shift manager that treated customers like me less of a person. Again I am a very understanding individual, I try to under one's situation to the extreme. However I couldn't explain what just happened w/situation. Granted I get it she probably was over working, it could've been a very busy day. However, the treatment I experienced was and couldn't be explained. New Ross in Harker Heights! Bigger, cleaner and organized than the location in Killeen! In my opinion, I feel like there isn't a great selection of women and baby clothing if your comparing it to the Killeen location. But I do love that it's in Harker Heights. read more

I love shopping at Ross! Never knew this place have a lot of cool things. I can stay here for hours just looking around and finding things I want, not needed (LOL)... This location seemed don't have much stuff like the on in Killeen though. maybe they are still trying to catch up since this place is a little newer. It's a little more organized I think, but the set up is different, so I get confused sometimes (LOL).. I find more cute stuff here than Burlington... Don't get me wrong, I still shop there too... The best time to shop is early in the morning... You can't wait for the rush hours, because this place gets packed on the weekends. And you a lot of people don't care picking up items off the floor and place them back on the racks. I can't understand why it's so hard to do for some people(SMH). I suggest that we all do that and don't leave a mess in the store so the staff won't have an attitude cleaning up after customers... Anyways, don't forget the checkout the racks while you are waiting in line to checkout. I just found chocolate truffles today and tried it and oh my gosh, it's soooo good! Poor customer service & when an item doesn't have a tag on it they just pick a random price to charge that is more than the item listed

I was in this store today and came across a really nice trash can. When I started looking at it closer there were 3 noticeably large dents on there. I asked customer service if they'd would give it to me for 50% off because of how big the dents were and they told me no, only 10%. With a 10% discount I would have only gotten close to $4.60 off of this item. The dents were definitely worth 50% off. read more

Zero stars. There are two new dressing rooms in the front right side of the store entrance. There is a limit of five items that you're allowed to try on at once. I parked my shopping cart right beside my dressing room lined up perfectly hoping no one would bother it. I had been shopping for over an hour and my cart was pretty full. I had pet supplies, clothing, and kitchen items in my cart. While trying on my five items, a worker decided to take my cart and put everything back without even knocking on my door and asking if it was my cart. I was in there for maybe 10 minutes. I had probably $200 worth of items to purchase because I was shopping for a trip. I confronted the workers about it and they were so rude about it. I told them next time to use common sense and not assume that someone just left their cart. Clearly, I was in the dressing room because the door was closed and my cart was right next to the door! They easily could have knocked. I am so done with this store. Workers are rude! read more

My husband was getting checked out and I went to ask to see some sunglasses in the display. Kate, the manager behind the counter told me "it will be a minute" as she goes to occupy herself with returns. I stood there until a lady decided to walk around and asked me what I would like to see. They have outrageously great deals and a pretty decent selection of certain items including jeans. Nothing beats buying brand new shirts and pants within the 5 to 15 dollar price range. I always find something to buy when coming here. At this particular location, the service was slightly detached and disinterested. My mother asked where the bathroom was and the lady in charge of checking items before the dressing room told her that there were no facilities available. After waiting 10-15 minutes in line, the cashier wouldn't even make eye contact when making the purchase. Overall, decent store but the associates seem very apathetic. read more

Waiting to check out was right next to correct line to stand in and Alexea ( I believe) made me move over to the right like I was a school kid even though no one else was in line. Let me stand there for 8 minutes or so until a couple of other people got in line then walked over to register and called next. Why couldn't she check me out right away instead of piddling around making me stand there. Very rude and inconsiderate. read more

I love Ross, but this location always underwhelms me. It seems smaller with less inventory than others I frequent. I feel it particularly lacking in the shoe, beauty + home decor departments. This Ross is very clean and organized. Why the 2 star? Clothes are supposed to be "designer" but looked very outdated. I really couldn't even find a whole lot of clothes that were in my size. And the clothes that were in my size were hideous. They didn't really have a huge selection of "need to have" shoes. I found absolutely nothing in this store that was worth investing money into. To me, Ross is just a higher funded thrift shop. read more

this place is clean but their return or exchange policy suck! i got a gift for my baby shower & like normal when you get a gift the price sticker is off, which is fine but here you need the price sticker cause they cant look up their inventory. have you ever heard of a store not knowing their inventory that they need the sticker! they were so rude about it. never again read more
