Very disappointed with my experience at Ross on Wallisville and Beltway 8. I walked in with my Starbucks drink, which was completely covered and secured, and was told I couldn't shop with it. I've shopped at many other Ross locations and have never had this issue before. It was frustrating to be turned away over a covered drink when I was simply trying to shop. Customer service felt unfriendly and unwelcoming. Unfortunately, they lost a customer today. I will be taking my business to other Ross locations that treat customers with more respect. read more

I came in looking to spend a couple hundred dollars on clothes and accessories but unfortunately the fitting rooms are completely full of people with their kids running 5 items at a time back and forth and blocking all the stalls. After waiting 30 minutes, having five people in front of me, and not moving an inch, I gave up and left. Why is this place so busy on a Friday at 1pm? Doesn't anyone work? Never again. read more

You are treated with suspicion the minute you walk in. All Ross stores are a little ghetto, but this is the worst I've experienced. Trying on anything you are treated like a criminal. I had $100+ worth of clothing I put back because I wasn't allowed to try on a belt. The manager, as well as every store employee I interacted with, was rude and dismissive from what I could comprehend from them. read more

Very large Ross. You would think that since it's so large, it would have an incredible selection. Nope! The prices are decent. The biggest problem I had was their new self checkout. You had to wait in a like for them to take tags off of your items, then you had to scan them, after, you had to wait in line for them to check every single one of your items. Anyone who shops at Ross should already know the place is a hit or miss when it comes to finding something. It's usually not a place I depend on finding something specific---more like for shooting the breeze/window shopping opportunities. My last visit, however, I was looking for an item (khaki pants) for a less expensive price than what I had spent at JCPenney. After beating the racks for khaki pants, which I did not have much success in finding, I did find a nice relaxed pair of pants that I just knew would fit but alas--the inseam was too short for my frame. What I did walk of the store with was a nice little black dress for less than $10 and in a smaller size that I didn't think would work, but WALA! It fit like a charm! Excited that my gym work was visible in my clothes for once in a loooooooong time, I went to peruse the shoe aisle. There were some pretty nice name brand flats available but nothing spectacular in the realm of high heels. Nonetheless for there to be some sort of selection after the holidays and the stores taking consideration for organizing what they did have in stock is respectable. Only thing I have to comment about is my encounter with somebody's B.A.K. (bad a** kid) opening my fitting room door because there is no latch on the doors, so anyone can open it when you're inside. However, I have a feeling the B.A.K. would have climbed under the door to bother me too. Latches please please please! read more

I went to high school in this area and I have family members who are former employees of this location so I've never heard great things about this location. However, today as I plan for my weekend getaway I figured I would go and have a look at the clearance section. To my surprise, the clearance rack was easy to find and stocked with a variety of items. Although I didn't purchase anything from the clearance rack I'll definitely be keeping an eye on it going forward. I walked outta this store spending about $50 on navy green joggers, Michael Kors dress shorts, a beach shirt, and baby blue workout shorts. The customer service was average. The men's restroom was clean but they have to buzz you into it. The fitness room needs some work ! Some of the rooms didn't have hooks for me to hang my clothes and one of the doors didn't lock. They accept Apple Pay which helps me with rewards. I forgot to ask when senior citizen day was but it's usually on Tuesdays. Grandma if you're reading this, get ready read more

I've always liked shopping in Ross for my home goods. So today I went to this location for the same reason while I was shopping I wanted to use the restroom and needed the code to the restroom so asked one the employee working for loss and prevention tall African American male if there's anyone who could put the code in the restroom but instead he had a very very bad attitude and literally told me there's no one who would help me with the code to the restroom while he was free with no customer !!!!! ROSS needs to hire whose professional !! Because of this reason I will NEVER go to this location at all PERIOD . There's a reason why business like Ross provides restroom service to the customers . I have visited so many Ross locations that I've learned what to expect and which ones are decent places to shop. I visited this Ross the weekend before Christmas. It was packed and the store was in disarray, but I was very impressed with how friendly the staff was even through the stressful time. They had every register open and although the lines were long, it took very little time to get through the line. I also noticed that even though shoppers were making a mess, this store did have clerks working to organize different parts of the store throughout the day. While Ross has some decent items at great prices, the stores are usually overcrowded and mismanaged, but this location was trying their best to keep up with the busy pace. read more

This location sucks! GO somewhere else. I understand the holidays are approaching but this Ross is unbelievable. I wanted to see something from the glass case and I was told I had to wait in line. The line was extremely LONG. The line was all the way to the back of the store. Unbelievable. What if I did not like what I wanted to see? I waited in line for nothing then?
