This Ross was actually not too bad, as far as being crowded, (well for weekday mid afternoon), messy, disorganized, it was not!!!!! I glanced at the woman's clothes briefly (I was getting one personal item & home stuff), and saw wrinkled & unflattering looking tops on hangars and was turned off. But they had a good selection of home decor & accessories. Shoes looked decent & cute too. Got up to the register & got checked out, although it was empty when I got there and when I was ready to pay, so was every other female customers lol. (Two cashiers only & returns line was starting to grow). The only annoyance was (here I go....) a customer in front of me, who was diddling around w/her pile of crap & her friends, when they called out "Next!", she kept playing w/her items and I said loud, but politely "Excuse me" she looked at me irate "Yes??" I said "your next" & befuddled, she staggered to the register. After 13 minutes of her transaction & questions "What do mean not discounted??" "Then I no want it!" & threw clothes back at cashier. When she was finally done, she asked the cashier to wait for her friend & cashier said she would (I would have told her if she's still shopping, then she's not ready & has to wait in line like everyone else was), but until she came back up, she was going to help next customer in line (Yay for me). I told her she was being too nice to the lady(ies) taking advantage of the situation. Let me note - this in no way has to with Ross, just today's world full of people trending annoyances. Well like my fellow Yelper Rolando stated, you have to exercise patience & look for the hidden treasures, again, just be very patient!!! Because you just can't beat their prices!!! On a Sunday, you only have 2 checkout lines??? The damn line to cash out is wrapped around the back of the store! This is beyond ridiculous.

If i could give it negative stars i would! I came in for a mirror! A large mirror so i asked for assistance! Not only did the person i help tell the next person who told the next person, the person that was supposed to help me, literally walked by twice while helping the Hispanics who did not ask for his help until he got back there! This is what should've been expected in this area! Hire more diverse people in your store since your workers only want to help those that share cultural similarities! Waste of drive! No point in shopping or living in this area so i don't! Haven't been to this Ross in years and now i remember why! Hopefully with the new improvements in Inglewood it closes soon read more

On two separate occasions early July and today, I went in to purchase items from this location. The cashier called for the other customers before I got my receipt or even able to start walking off! I complained to the manager that this is not acceptable social distancing and its rude to do that to paying customers. No sanitizing the key pad, counter or anything after a customer leaves. The manager apologized and said she'd make changes. Month later (today) a different cashier does the same thing. Signs posted everywhere about sanitizing and social distancing which is a complete lie. Cashier got an attitude because I said could she wait until I walk off before calling other people? Doesn't she need to disinfect the counter? Won't be shopping here anymore. read more

I visited this Ross while on vacation for the holidays. The store was 2 stories, which was actually nice. I've been in many Ross stores and most are unorganized and junky. This particular store was the cleanest Ross store I've run across. I enjoyed the Home goods section, so many jewels that I've never seen at my home store. read more

So I came to shop after quarantine and I found so many great deals . Some Addias , Dnky, MK shirts less than $9.99. I wasn't lucky to get some handbags . But all the $1 Easter decor made it up . The store manger Danny and the regional manger Fernando (I think it was his name )were so helpful they even helped me take my big haul to my car . Ross is a store that is trying its best to be like Marshalls. However this location has more hits than misses. Long lines for no reason, products in the wrong category and at times looks like a child's messy room. Other locations have a better selection of items and better customer service. FYI Ross doesn't have layaway but they do have a loss prevention agent. This location has the potential to become an alternative to Marshalls next door but needs a lot of overall improvement. read more

Cons: This place is very disorganized. Their shoe selection is subpar and their cleanliness is below average as well. It wasn't that busy (for a Sunday) and with that being said, it shouldn't be in a state of disarray. Pro: Overall, the staff is friendly. read more

I give it three stars, I mainly went there for socks. I wanted real good socks that would keep your feet dry went you workout at the gym. I was a little disappointed. That they did not have lots of different kind of low cut gym socks. But, I did buy nine pairs of low cut gym socks. I'm very please with them. I paid under $16.00. That part was great. read more

I have never liked the atmosphere at Ross. The whole: "2 cashiers servicing a line of 15 people" is a little played-out. You would think that the company would have more people working on a shift a certain times, as well as a number of people on the floor to answer customers concerns. I usually don't have to wait that long to get rung up but when there is only 1 person ringing someone up and 3 other employees gossiping about something that happened, something needs to change. I looked at 1 of the girls several times and she didn't do anything until I said can someone ring me up? Then the girl that helped me dropped one of my items on the floor and now it's dust all over it and of course there was only 1 in my size, so I couldn't even swap it out. Wtf is going on?! Then while she was ringing me up, the girl turn around and asks the other girl "so then what happened"? Like girl, hello?! This why you dropped my stuff! Pay attention! In Ross its 10:13,, there is a line full of shoppers and only 2 cashiers one of which happens to be the manager. In the meantime 2 employees are by the front putting up go backs. On top of that everyone is having a meaningless conversation instead of focusing on customer service. I hope they understand this is not the only Ross in the world. read more

This place has several hidden golden gems. You just have to be patient and look around and find the hidden treasures. On Tuesday nights they offer tax free for senior customers. The merchandise is not all over the place like other Ross stores even though this location is in an urban area. Just take your time and look around and you will find some good stuff. read more

I bought a few items on December 19, 2010 and today I wanted to return the items I didn't give as gifts. I looked at the receipt and noticed that there was one item on the receipt that I HAD NOT purchased. I called the Ross and first spoke with a female associate about the additional item on my receipt. She then transfered me to the manager Albert. I explained the entire situation to him, gave him the date time, registernumber and described what I wore that day. He also asked for the description of the item and explained to me that it was a silk shirt; I DID NOT purchase a shirt that day. He then checked the surveillance cameras back to that day and called out each item I bought. Then when it came to this mystery item he said VERBATIM "I see a 7th item, but I can't tell what it is." My issue with that is how could he tell that I purchased a corkscrew, tongs, 3 frames and a box of knives; and couldn't tell me what the 7th item was. It all seems fishy. So when I questioned him about know all of the items and seeing them clearly except for the item in question, he git an attitude. I then asked for the corporate phone number and he gave me 1-800-IBUYROSS which is NOT the number. I used to work there so I can attest to the many problems that they have as far as professionalism and following through with customer relation issues. read more

I was in the store on yesterday, I immediately found the shoe I desperately needed. However the line had 50+ of us in it. Many like myself wth only one item. There was ONLY two lines open. One for returns , the other for purchases. I ask to speak to the manager. He had temporarily left the store. It took me 39 mins to get to the cashier to pay for my item. For a store with LOTS of shoppers they need more cashiers. The West/ Torrance store is much better. read more
