Wow, what has happened to this area of town? I was in the vicinity and stopped into Ross to kill some time. I love bargain shopping, but this store made it feel like a chore. The aisles were absolutely cluttered with merchandise on the floor, including clothing. Disgusting! There were some sketchy looking people hanging outside of the store and I rushed to my car, not feeling safe at all. I do not recommend this to anyone, but especially women. Customer service was not there. I called beforehand because I am pressed for time and they told me my question was a positive. I went in stayed in a 10 minute line got up to the front ready to check out and THE card wouldn't go through because the answer was a negative. This was probably the most frustrating experience in my life. I very clearly stayed in my problem and she even went to go ask for clarification. Very irritated very disappointed. read more

I have gone to 2 separate Ross stores in Texas.The one in Prosper and the one in Irving. The customer service is EXTREMELY horrible!!! A good word of advice will be to put nicer people on the registers who have patience. read more

Pictures speak a thousand words. The place is so messed up, you can't even get a shopping cart through the aisles without running into scattered clothes, shoes, toys, etc. I've never seen anything like it. It was so astonishingly bad, it was almost comical. I bought three items that were large furniture pieces. To my surprise, not one employee would help me or even open the door for me while trying to get these items out of the store (they won't let you take a cart outside, which these things didn't fit into anyway). No one even offered to hold the door open. The loss prevention guy just stood there staring at me struggling to get all of the items out the door one at a time, by myself. read more

Staff is always superb. Selection is always premium. Lines can, at times, get a bit long with only two active registers. But outside of that, this store, and most importantly their STAFF, are the gold standard of retail. Kaci, Dillon, & Mayra were all SO helpful whenever I lost my phone at this location. Honestly, I would have never expected that degree of help, and concern, from any retail store. I was so unbelievably impressed. Came in for pajama pants and have been standing in line forever. I would not recommend this place. They seem to be in no rush to get customers out this line!!! There are employees all over the store & I don't understand why I'm still waiting. I'm counting six registers. Come on! Jesus. read more

I am not a fan of Ross normally, but I needed some home items. This by fee ar is one of the worst stores I have been to. The store is a mess, lacks organization and they don't have enough people working. The line for the registers us wrapped around the inside of the store 8 registers four open ridiculous. This little sales associate Lizzy had no idea that I was recording our interaction, she spoke to me with so much disrespect and acted like I was a hassle because I had to return some items. On the other hand, her manager Joy was very helpful even though she had to watch a video camera to approve my returns even though I had a receipt and the card I paid on, I just changed my mind on my purchases and last I checked that isn't a crime. It actually isn't which is why she returned them. When I informed Lizzy she was being recorded, she kept quiet for the remainder of our interaction and then apologized to the customers behind me as if it were my fault Joy insisted on checking cameras. Hey it's a low cost retail store so you can't have that great of an expectation. As they say, you get what you pay for. I went on a Saturday afternoon and the checkout line was literally to the back of the store. There were 2 cashiers working and one of them periodically had to help people doing returns so I stood in line 30 minutes just to check out. The deals I got though were great. I've visited maybe 6 other Ross stores and the selection of size 12 men's shoes is normally very little. What I liked about this location was they had plenty in my size. So I'll go back again. read more

While driving by my friend noticed a Ross and yelled -look it's a Ross let's go there! I had never heard of Ross department stores before. To me they are like a Marshall's dept store and a hit or miss. The prices are very good. I did actually find a pair of shoes and two tops. If I do not come across another Ross during my travels I will not be disappointed. read more

Nasty bathroom horrible costumer service. There's a fat lady Tuesday at night shift she has a piercing in her upper lip by her nose omg!!! She's grumpy grumpy. I don't know why people are so grumpy. I've never been a big fan of Ross, the stores seem cluttered and unorganized. I did find some baseball cleats on sale, instead of going online. I didn't venture over to mens clothing, don't care to look through fifty shirts to find two I like and one to be the wrong size. I'll give them credit, you can find watches and select cologne on sale though, and the staff was helpful. read more

This Ross has less selection than the ones I'm used to going to in Arlington, but they still have some good stuff if you look around.

Personally I don't mind shopping at Ross for it has good prices. However this one in particular is not taken cared of. What I mean by this is that the clothes is all on the floor so it is very hard to move a cart in the aisles without having clothes getting stuck in the wheels. The wait is another story. TERRIBLE. I probably waited 30 minutes at the least. I don't understand why there is only two cashiers checking people out. I went on a Friday afternoon when it is typically full. If this is a constant problem, which I bet it is, there should be more staff around. All in all, I do not recommend shopping at this Ross. read more

I love the extremely affordable prices on all the merchandise. Mostly brand name . This store is easy to locate. But many times that I've shopped here, it's been disorganized & cluttered. Chaotic and uncomfortable atmosphere. read more

Horrible Customer Service. The only person I was greeted by was the Security Guard. I spent a total of about 35mins in the store no one ask me was I doing ok, or if I needed any help. But the one thing that topped it off was I was heading to check out when I stopped by the Accessories section real quick, I see this lady walking towards me, I am thinking she is a customer only to see her Ross name tag. I will not use her name but for Ross, the Assoc. number was #205973. She squeezed right by me, didn't even ask can I help you or hello. I then assumed she was on break. I then head to the check out line and I started looking at the things that you can grab on your way out. I heard the lady (same one by the way who didn't say anything) yell "Next". I heard but I didn't move due to I was reading the back of a bag for the calorie count. She then yelled louder "NEXT IN LINE". I turned around bc at this point I am embarrassed, I obviously was not ready to check out. I went to the register again, No Hello, how are you, did you find everything you needed. She just looked at me amd kept staring all weird making me feel really uncomfortable. She only bagged one of my items and then I started to pull out my credit card and she had her hand out looking at me, I the customer had to ask what my total was. She then told me $22 something, I handed her my card then she goes oh its actually $24???? She ran my card, and then yelled for the next person. I had to bag my own second item and pull my own reciept out. I was going to say something to a lady to who seemed to be the Manager but when I was walking out. Eveyone had an ugly facial expression on them, and looked like they didn't even want to be there and no one even said bye They were all huddled up talking. Review your cameras you will see the time was at 4:32pm on 1/14/15. I rather drive further to the other Ross just to avoid this one. It's not even fully stock at that and dirty. But the most important thing being a Former Retail Manager is the Customer Service. If it sucks you will not succeed. Please have a turn around soon!!! read more
