The store had brand new clothes that were at least 50-60% off of the original tag. Some of the items were still more expensive than I thought it should be given the dated look and style. Did not catch the person who answered the phones name but before I could finish my question they advised me that they did not have the shoe. I explained that is fine but there was a store that I did know had the shoe and if they could just do a store transfer. The rep stated no we do not do that which I knew was not true since other SP stores advised they did. Which I told the rep he then stated that we do not do it unless its in our district (which means you do do it). I then asked can you check to see if its in your district then ? No hesitation its not in my district... I then asked to speak with the manager and this person was the manager then asked to speak with some one else they refused. I have the store where the shoe is information along with there item code to ust call and have them shipped to me which I received from a much more helpful store associate at another SP. The ladies were helpful and not pushy, gave us plenty of time and offered guidance on the fitting as we asked. The store is packed to the brim with clothes so don't bring more people than you need.

Spencer Gifts is good for a laugh, but the prices are pretty pricey so I'd rather just share the jokes (or riskay merchandise) with someone who's with me at the store then display it at my house. And I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but have you ever seen anyone wearing the shirts / accessories that they offer? I guess there's not much of a market of people that would be willing to shell out the prices they're offering, and want to wear a shirt that has a hot dog cheating on a hot dog bun with a donut? BTW, I prefer the newer style stores (like the one at Hulen Mall) then the one at Irving Mall.
