I stop shopping at Ross in this location a long time ago since I was passing by I gave it another try ...it's too many people in the store is a mess upon checking out. They have to see your receipt and bag your items after you pay for them that's another wait time , who ever thought of that was the worse decision and you only have one person well two and then a gentleman trying to stereotype as only black people steal I told him that's a lie and he was black him self ... find a better solution because this is the holiday. it's already a disaster I never come back !!! read more

I was first introduced to Ross last winter in Florida, I were totally hooked on this place, great bargain, great stuff. now while visiting georgia, I came upon a ROSS!!! Holy molly was my reaction. Definitely had to stop in, upon my arrival I noticed how huge this Ross were. To my excitement I started shopping, they had excellent selection. The store were actually filled with supplies. I mean some shelves such as bedding were low supplies. But didn't go for that. Well organized and everything were sized to perfection. This Ross gotta be the best I've been. Crappy Service. Needs better management! Will not be returning to this location ever. What's the manager get in an argument with a group of customers and the customer was right. I agree with the customer. Forced the group of people to go to self checkout and then bitched and complained that they had to show their receipt which I hundred percent agree you just watched them scan all of their purchase, so why would you make them show their receipt. The moment I walked into this Ross location I should of realized something right away.. they have two security guards at the entrance. I stopped by here looking for jeans, shoes and underwear. The whole men's department is a total mess, maybe worse than a young teens closet. Everything I looked at was completely unorganized. My shoe size is anywhere from 12-13, depending on the brand. I found about 8 pairs of shoes in the 12-13 section and when I looked at the inner tags, they were all within the 9-11 range. I only found one 13, which was a 13.5. Seeing that I could not find any shoes, I headed over to the underwear section, and looked around. The packages were damaged and appeared that they were sitting on the shelves for a very long time. How did I know that? Some of the packages were covered with dust and the packages were faded, as if they were sitting in the sun. I found one package that I did like and they were my size, but the package said it had 5, when I checked to see if it had 5, I only seen 4, so I decided the hell with this and I purchased nothing, and left the store. I stopped at the Marshalls next door and dropped $150. The Marshalls is really nice, well organized and they actually have a nice selection of men clothes... And yes, their packs of underwear actually contain the same amount of underwear that is written on the packaging. This Ross needs to really organized their store and put things in order. The men's jeans also had women jeans on the rack. This store is probably okay for women, however the selection for me is just terrible. Visit the Marshalls next door. Otherwise, I highly recommend the Nordstrom rack near the Mall of GA for shoes for us fellas who wear shoe sizes 12 or larger. read more

This store is consistent in three things. Super long lines no matter what time you go in. It's been this way so the management is aware. It's obvious they don't care and take it for granted that the customers will just wait. The selection also needs help. Lastly the ppl seem miserable. They likely are because they are probably overworked. Not enough staff to handle the customers. It's sad. read more

Update: the items are still high quality, the staff still friendly. This interior looks a lot better, especially in the makeup/sock and accessory section. This location isn't the greatest but the staff here are lovely and lively and really made me feel welcome through the brief transaction! The security guards (sadly necessary due to the sometimes trashy people who shop there) are really kind and funny and indeed make their rounds in the store to establish a sense of safety. The organization in this store has been lacking in the past year due to the alleged management transition but the store is working on its act. The prices remain unbeatable as far as clearance and high quality goes. I have high hopes for this store's continued efforts to clean and reassemble itself into a more organized store and I believe they've made progress thus far. read more

Long line for no reason. All of the employees were talking about they're plans for the wends instead of checking the customers out.We got a female cashier named Charlie who was super unprofessional and disrespectful she was constantly talking to another employee who was sitting on the benches playing on her phone. They were constantly yelling back and forth calling each other vulgar names.The deals are good but now I remember why I choose not to come to this store. Ehhhh I had trouble deciding what to rate this Ross as because it has positives but negatives too. There are NEVER, ever, never, ever enough registers open at this Ross! Unless you go in the middle of the day, while it's storming, and it is a mandatory work day for 90% of the population! I don't know what their issue is with staff or cashiers but the line is always long or long as hell! I was on my way to the Target next door but ended up getting everything here including a TV mount! It was very well organized and they had some nice gems. If I could give zero stars I would due to Emily (white lady with blonde medium length hair) who is an assistant manager. She is super rude and as for somebody in that position, you would expect to NOT have customer service issues with. I was looking through the clothes and I'm sure everybody has experienced the clothes being too big for the cheap hanger so the top falls off. Thus, I placed it on top of the rack and a few seconds later Emily comes around and starts talking about me under her breath as if I wasn't standing right behind her while she is hanging the top up. She was saying something along the lines of me being rude since I didn't hang the item back. I didn't say anything back because I'm not going to entertain that kind of immature && negative behavior especially from someone in a higher position. In addition, I had another negative experience with Emily previously. I was standing in line to be checked out and as soon as I was next Emily who was on the cash register decided to leave instead of checking me out even though she checked out numerous people in front of me. I try to avoid this location due to Emily. She could learn some customer service tactics and how to treat people in general. There is better customer service at the Ross stores at Sugarloaf Mills Mall and the Snellville location! :) read more

It's hard to review a chain store, but i'll give it a shot. I was never really a Ross shopper, but I heard more than one person tell me about their great deals on rugs and since I was in the market for a floor mat or two, I went right on in. Who knew they'd have a pretty decent selection, often with bundles and at affordable prices (3 rugs for $20 at the time). No, these aren't amazing hand crafted designer rugs, so get that out of your head. They're just nice throws to add color to your place. No, the "R" in Ross doesn't stand for rug...it's just what got me in their store, but they do have other things including clothing, kitchen ware, etc.. The new late hours at Ross are truly fabulous for us insomniacs; some nights they're open to midnight. Whether I'm looking for a new sports bra, a larger pot for Cousin It my pet Potho plant, or simply on the hunt for imported camomile tea to lull me to sleep after my Ross shopping expedition; I always find what I'm looking for and more. Why does Mickela (the manager) think it's ok to just stand there directing traffic when the lines are extensive? Wouldn't it make better sense to get the lines down first? There were 3 cashiers and the line was still quite long so clearly they needed help. When she wasn't paying attention the cashiers called over the customer with their own mouths and that worked perfectly fine. Or take a page from TJ MAXX and have a system installed that automatically lights up and speaks when a cashier is available. Do BETTER. Lastly, I know this is largely impossible for most but could you at least pretend to care about your customers and smile once in a while? Also try to clean up the store a bit not sure how to can ensure inventory when the store is such a mess! I know am asking a whole lot from you guys but I'm sure if you put some energy into hiring better employees or asking Publix where they get their associates from you be much better off. read more

Possibly one of the nicest Ross stores I've set foot in. Well stocked and nicely organized. Easy to find things you want to purchase, you don't have to dig through the items like other locations. Nice selection of cookware of kitchen accessories. Lots of summer dresses and cute tops. They also have an area for doggy apparel and supplies, which I was tempted by but managed to avoid because my dogs aren't sissy clothes wearing dogs. My only negative is that I often have to wait in line a while because there is usually only one or two cashiers. Maybe I just come in during busy times. read more

Dealt with Kurtis & Santina who were extremely rude and unhelpful . The associate rung up my order incorrectly, so when I tried to return the defective watch that was sold to me they wouldn't even do an exhange and claimed how they don't sell defective items, when clearly they did. I tell everyone I know not to shop there and do business with TJMaxx because if I come across something defective at least they apologize and take care of the customer. This the the way retail businesses should be. In addition to the awful service from this location, I walked by associates who were replenishing the stock and not one moved the racks out out the way so customers could get through with their carts or asked if I needed any help. I always like to drop in on this store after stopping in at Sugarloaf Mills just down the street. It is off the beaten path in a small shopping center so it is not over shopped. Less chaotic than the sugar mills mall location, in any case just wanted to give them a shout of thanks for having a handbag $40 cheaper then I've been eyeing it at my favorite store macys. This location as all the other locations I've been too is just OK. Whenever I go I usually try to go early in the morning when they open or I just don't go at all. After that, it's just too crowded and too aggravating to shop. But for bargains you can't expect much in terms of an overall great shopping experience. read more
