Unpleasant Customer Service Experience at Ross Store in Margate, FL during my visit to this store in the evening on 02/01/2024. I recently had a disheartening encounter at the Ross store in Margate, FL, where the customer service left much to be desired. The cashier's demeanor was shockingly rude, displaying a lack of professionalism that tarnished the overall shopping experience. Not only did they skip the order of the line, causing confusion and frustration among customers, but their unprofessional disposition further aggravated the situation. This unfortunate experience has certainly left a lasting impression, and it's disheartening to see such a lapse in customer service at a reputable establishment like Ross. Suggestion to store location manager and or other levels of leadership. Place unprofessional, limited critical thinking, and inability to navigate a matter such as the cash register going down and managing the waiting customers ALL the way in the back of the store!!!

I brought my mom here because she requested that I do so. This store is so filthy and the clothing looks worse than goodwill. The shoes look like they have been worn and I went into the ladies room which had a worse odor than the Zoo in August. Honestly don't come here it's so foul Also the employee in this photo was wearing a cardigan for I'll assume her working shift that had a secority sensor in the back. So when you buy clothes you think might be new, they may have been worn by someone already

Ross is a chain of discount department stores founded in 1950 in California by Morris "Morrie" Ross. In 1958 Ross sold his store to a real estate developer who franchised the store to 6 locations. In the 1980's the stores were sold to real estate investors who grew the brand. The company now operates 1,483 stores in 37 U.S. states. My daughter was looking to purchasing some holiday dresses and everyone at school told me to come here because they had really low prices. Normally I can't stand picking through the racks here but in the interest of saving moving I was willing to give it a go. I ended bringing quite a few dresses for my daughter to try on and I had to agree to put them back out to keep the sales associate at the dressing room off my back. She kept asking me how many dresses my daughter planned on trying on. I felt like saying every freaking one you have if she feels like it but instead I just offered to put back the ones we weren't taking and she seemed to be satisfied with that. Apparently they get shop lifted a lot so I had to show every dress I took in and took out to the camera. If it had been just me I would have said forget this but it was supposed to be a nice Christmas shopping experience for my daughter so I just kept my mouth shut. In the end my daughter ended up choosing 6 or 7 dresses. On the positive side some were only $10. We also ended up with two classic Calvin Klein dresses that were so sophisticated on her I hardly recognized her. When she put the the black Calvin Klein on she grew up in an instant. I checked the price tag and it was $140. I was about to tell her I couldn't afford it but when I found a second tag farther down showing the price was $40. That is when I began to feel a little better about shopping here. Before we left we went to the shoe department which was a complete disaster. There wasn't even a place to sit and try on shoes. In the end my daughter ended up with a wardrobe of dresses for the retail price of the one Calvin Klein dress. Would I shop here again? Yes because you save money but don't expect anything in the way of customer service. The way they act you are burdening them by shopping here.

I like Ross because there's a lot to see and they do carry some good brands of shoes and snickers, also their home decor area has a lot of cute accessories. I always like to come in if I'm in the area to see what they have. However, this place is messy, lines are long and they always seem understaffed. Would this stop me from coming back? no, but is it the best store I've ever been to? Not in a million years. But if I'm looking for a pair of running shoes for my boys, or hubby, or cheap trendy shirts, then this is where I check first.

Hopefully these gloves stop me from getting calluses. Rubbed my wife back yesterday and she need a bandaid lol.

Burlington, formerly known as Burlington Coat Factory was founded by Monroe Gary Milstein and his…read morefather, Abe, who had been in the wholesale and retail outerwear business together since 1946. Their first store opened in 1972 in Burlington New Jersey, hence the name Burlington. Monroe's wife used the money she made as a librarian for the down payment. a second store was opened and then the company went public. In 2006, Burlington was purchased by Bain Capital Partners for $2.06 billion. Monroe Gary Milstein passed away this past May in Bal Harbour, Florida. Today Burlington is a discount clothing and home goods store with more than 1,100 stores in 47 states. The corporate headquarters are still in Burlington, New Jersey. Burlington is the third largest department store retailer behind TJX and Ross Stores. This new Burlington store opened in the former Big Lots, next to Publix. It is the companies 1,744th store. While it feels a little smaller than the nearest Burlington in nearby Coral Springs, Turtle Run, I love that it is brand new and stocked with great merchandise for holiday shopping. They sell men's women's and children's clothing along with accessories, home goods, beauty products, toys, decor, and more. I especially loved the Stitch pajamas, Grinch pillows, and adorable holiday soaps which are perfect for last minute gifts. They have a great selection of holiday outfits at deeply discounted prices. They also carry great name brands like Fila, Puna, Champion, Steve Madden, L'Oreal, Sketchers, and DKNY. You can save ten percent on your purchase if you open their credit card. Rather than enduring another empty eyesore, this a welcome addition to the shopping plaza.

WOW Clearly a well managed and run store. It was after 9pm on a weeknight and I couldn't stay long, but I'll definitely be back SOON
