Whenever family or friends come to visit there is no doubt that we end up here! When a tourist asks me "where is a good place to go during our stay?" I will always recommend this shop!! My sister from Pa. saw a gift here when she was visitng she wanted to get me for my birthday that was weeks away. She called the store from Pa. 2 weeks after she left, she said she couldn't find anything back home that she liked any better. She tricked me into going there on my birthday to look for something specific. The owner and another worker had put a helium Birthday balloon on the gift and both sang happy bithday to me! I cried!

My husband's grandmother was serving dinner with some really nice dishes and I asked where they were from- low and behold- they were from Old Time Pottery and I told him he would have to stop in before leaving. We went one night about an hour before closing so it wasn't too busy and just wow, they had wonderful prices and quality items!!! I am kicking myself for not stopping here sooner. I wish we had one in Texas where we live, but I still managed to buy a few serving bowls that came back with me and I use all the time. We will be back for sure, I want to buy everything!

It's not exactly a traditional antique shop- each of the many "booths" had different things, some of which were new or homemade/crafted items. Staff was friendly! I bought a cute Hallmark Christmas ornament for around $9. Prices varied a lot from booth to booth. I'm more into vintage/antiques especially glass items. I'd give this place a 3.5 but my review is based on what my personal preference of items (glass, vintage packaging and ephemera, Fenton, Pyrex) are. I'm not into the more flea market type new items or crafty things. Still I had fun looking!!

Be sure to allow enough time to browse through every nook and cranny. There is quite a lot of beach decor and, also, quite a lot of artisan products too. There was some great prices with a few things a little priced higher than I would expect but overall great deals. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth the stop and time out of my trip. you should give it try and don't forget to make it to both buildings that are right beside each other.

But unlike Target and Walmart, they did have quite a few christmas items, and the best part is that all christmas items was 50% off! We found chocolate penguins, lots of gift bags, buiscuits, cookies, chocolate and more! We also found some caramel popcorn at the register. Store was pretty crowded too. There was a long line at the register but it moved quickly, and the cashier was very pleasant. Store was also organized, and they did also have lots of wrapping paper, and kids items included like Elmo Wrapping paper, which i thought was cute. Will be back for more home needs!
