Horrible attitude!! Associate 2521905 HATES your job and anyone around her. Giving attitude to EVERYBODY!! And looking at me side ways for saying "Hii how are you?" When she started ringing my stuff up. I asked for another big bag to double bag my items since the bag literally broke as I lifted and she gave me attitude and another employee actually helped me with it... I don't understand why you working here if you hate it. The lady next to her super pleasant and nice saying hi to everyone and this lady that helped me just nasty attitude. This Ross was okay. There weren't many people working here nor were there many shoppers when we stopped by. And merchandise wise, they didn't seem to have much stock. I've been to several of their stores lately. I've been searching for a shirt like that worn by a friend of mine. I have a similar shirt in black. One time that we met for dinner recently, we were both wearing our similar shirts but hers was purple with different buttons. Since she told me that she got hers in Ross (for a lot less than I paid for mine), I've been hoping to find another one to purchase. I know it's a long shot, as items change in a store like this, but I figured why not try. And we happened to be in this shopping center for something else so it was a convenient stop. They didn't have the shirt I was seeking, but I figured I'd look through their dresses. They didn't have even one item that I remotely would want to have tried on. My favorite Ross right now! Their self checkout makes everything perfect! I feel much more productive when self checkout is available and i feel like it make the lines for returns and other things much shorter! I hope to see more Ross stores implements this especially since the selection of items at this one is limited. Nevertheless, the greeter at the front is usually nice, not too many people in the lines and of course the prices are really good. A couple days ago the Store manager Rafael is outrageously rude and racist. He treats the Black and White employees horribly, while the Spanish employees get special treatment. As a customer (POV), I've witnessed him treating his employees like absolute garbage. It's obvious he can't even manage to have a decent conversation with them. This place is a mess. Many Clothes are falling off to the floor from hungers, not organized sizing, a lady works for fitting room was so lazy, and worst was ladies room. I didnt even want to do my business in there. Unbelievably dirty. Many ladies are working the shop and they used the room but no one care about it? So disgusting. Only i put 2 stars are they do self checkout now. Always long line for the casher before but this self checkout saved my time a lot. read more

The security guard here is racist.. I am Asian. I come here often to buy household items. And today I had a situation where the security guard followed after me the whole time i was there and he thought I was a thief.Or does he think I don't have money to buy the items here? He stood guard over me while I was choosing my personal items, from one section to another section until I got to the checkout counter. Since I come here often, the cashier knows me and I asked him why that black guy followed me.And after talking to the cashier and the store manager, showed them my belonging, I didn't get a proper apology. This rating is a tenth of a star at best! And because I was unable to contact corporate in writing, after many failed attempts, I hope they read this. The Ladies Room was unacceptable today, 09/14/1963 approx. 2:45 PM. I had to hold my breath to even try to go in. I took photos, which I showed to local management. The store was not busy, and the associate "manning" the Fitting Rooms was doing absolutely nothing, but standing. I have been in retail and many times rolled up my sleeves, put gloves on, picked up a broom and mop and bucket, and cleaned the bathrooms--for our patrons--and for our store to be a good representation of our chain. Unfortunately, management here does not believe, much less act upon those basic business practices. Moreover, being that you do not provide the means for your customers to upload photos of your stores to you, or at the very minimum to be able to write you, I must now ask that you contact me via this highly trusted source, I can submit the pics. to you, in hopes that there is improvement to this store in this area. This was not my original intent. This location is the most convenient for me, but with that being said it is hit or miss. Most of the time I don't find what I am looking for, but when I am searching for random decorative or home items I always at least try. This last visit I was quite successful. I ran in for some decorative items and two serving dishes as we were having some guests over. When you are able to find what you are looking for, the deals can be great! I wanted to find a small faux flower vase, and all the sites I searched the items I liked were starting at $50.00 which is kind of crazy in my opinion. I walked out with one large ceramic serving plate, a medium ceramic serving plate, a bathroom bin, two different sized bedazzled candle holders, my flower case, a LOVE decor ceramic sign, and a candle for $66.00! Winning! Like I said though, hit or miss! I have equally visited this location and haven't found what I was looking for. Give it a try! You might find some treasures. read more

I came to this shopping plaza to a store called Five Below, but as soon as I saw this Ross I knew I would come in. I really like these type of stores were you can buy many different things, and they always have something different. I like being surprised. Unfortunately the store was very messy and I came in early in the morning so there was no reason for it to be in such disarray. I bought a few things but I didn't spend nearly as much time as I would have because I found it difficult to just look at stuff. I don't usually look at the clothing area, other than dresses. I did walk by the junior's department and the racks seem to be quite messy at a glance.. Housewares, and decor are the areas I look around the most which were quite messy. This Ross is located on commercial Boulevard in a really nice plaza. There are many stores such as Publix, dollar tree, Five Below, Sketchers and some restaurants as well as a gym. three out of the four stores I walked into where are below average. It is really sad because like I said it is a nice plaza. I wouldn't be back to this store because it was messy, but also because it's far for me. I was just in the area and decided to check it out. I always say that Ross' prices are fairly good in comparison to places like home goods or pier one imports (please note that quality wise they are not the same but if you redecorate often it is worth the savings) so putting up with the mess is part of the bargain, but this store was messier than most. I didn't speak to anybody other than the cashier who checked me out, she just rang me up and took my money, no customer service whatsoever I don't even think she said thank you. Hope they get their act together, this is a nice store, just needs attention. read more

Had a poor experience the store does not have carts you can take to your car. I bought over $100 and had big items and bad to carry then all our by myself. Not one person asked to help as they seen me struggle. I couldn't believe it. Im not a person too complain but, to see someone struggle after purchasing huge items you should think someone would at least offer.. the employees just call next really loud... not friendly at all and they dont wait until you have left the counter to call the next shopper which is so rude. For a Ross, this place serves its purpose. They have a good variety of clothing and other goods at an affordable price. It can be messy at time but I blame that on the people that frequent the store. I was looking for some cheap, comfortable shirts to wear at a new job in the service industry and found just what I was looking for. Comfortable, button up shirts for under 20 bucks. I don't usually shop at Ross but this time they came in handy. read more

I feel quite loyal to this ROSS given its proximity to my house. This plaza is loaded with great stores and small restaurants so it's rather disappointing that this Ross location does not meet up with the other standards. I've given this location plenty of opportunity to impress me or improve but each time I run in it's always the same. I'd describe the store as having no leadership. The store is in shambles, as my pictures indicate there is always products all over the floor and no one is checking behind customers to replace items back to where they belong. The home goods area is sparse and never organized. The clothing is usually all mixed up in sizes. The employees seem to have no training on what inventory they have when asked for assistance. .. Maybe when management realizes they are dropping the ball the store will improve. read more

Living in S Florida most of the year. I have to wash them more often. So, they don't last without special care. I like the store because it's like being in Grandma's attic & finding cool things. Bear in mind these stores get the things that have flaws, don't pass inspection or didn't sell .. They send what they have left to these stores. Living in NYC near the garment district I know how these things work. Caution: It is a good idea to wash the garment before you wear it. In traveling the World I see the dirt & dusk that collects on these clothes, India, Pakistan, where ever it comes from. As you wash it, you can actually see the dirt & sand it has collected on it's travels to you. read more

I also go to the Ross at the Coral Ridge Mall, but I can never find what I'm looking for, I think it's because they're stuff sells quickly, so I go to this one (On Commercial) and I end up finding what I need or what I'm looking for. I could give many, many examples. The most notorious is the red tile table and chairs that I got last year: at the mall, they had only one chair; at the one on Commercial Boulevard... I found the whole set. My husband loves it! The only thing that I noticed is that they used to have a bigger variety of garden pots and now they don't bring them anymore. I hope they request some. I came in here not really knowing what I wanted but had an idea. Immediately, I was greeted by the loss prevention guy which was nice. I really had no interest in clothes so headed over to the Pets and Home stuff areas. The place isn't completely messy and a little disorganized but I've seen worse. I ended up purchasing a large dog food container for a great price and a couple of DKNY wash clothes on clearance. Not bad! This location has gone from bad to worse. It used to have *some* inventory and ridiculously long lines. Now, it seems they have no inventory of value at all, and the lines aren't as bad most likely due to the fact there is nothing good to buy here. The security guards at the front of the store are pleasant enough. The rest of the staff isn't rude per se... they just don't interact much. This location just isn't worth the time or effort. The problem with Ross, the clothes don't last long. With that being said, it's not worth shopping here. I haven't been to a store that I thought was clean or tidy. This store isn't the worst of them, but I'm going to try to avoid going to Department/Discount Stores from now on. read more

This Ross is pretty typical of most Ross stores: cluttered clothing racks & shelves, lackadaisical employees, but decent prices. If you have the time & energy, you may end up walking out with a decent deal. I have found name-brand clothing, shoes, housewares, bedding, etc for really cheap prices & have saved tons of money, but you really have to search sometimes to find these deals & items. The employees at this particular location, however, seem worse than the average lackadaisical Ross employee. They could really care less about the customer. Earlier this evening, we visited this particular Ross around 7:20 pm. Upon arrival, we were told by the security personnel that the store closes at 8:00. Ok, 40 minutes, plenty of time to shop. Well, at 7:30 AND 7:40, employees made announcements that the store was closing at 8:00, & another employee even remarked a 4th time about the store closing soon, & as we were walking out of course the 7:50 "the store is closing at 8:00" announcement went off. We get it, you don't want to be here & you want go home, just don't make it quite so obvious. We got in line around 7:35, but waited for what seemed like forever. If we didn't actually NEED what we were in line for, we would have 'politely' placed the item on the counter & left. The employees were terribly slow at ringing people up, didn't have a personality whatsoever, & we counted quite a few employees doing nonsense things, like pushing carts around, getting clothes hangers together, all while the line was building up, & there were only 2 cashiers. This is the worse Ross I've been to. The first bad experience happened last year when the manager told me that he couldn't give me a discount on an item that was broken but I was willing to purchase it knowing that I wouldn't be able to return it because the discount would make it a final sale item. Today, a different manager had two flower planters in different sizes but with the same exact price and as far as I was concerned one of the prices needed to be changed. Instead of taking $2 off the biggest one, his bright idea was to increase the price on the larger item. Just in principle, I found that to be ridiculous and declined to purchase the items. read more

If I could give this Ross a negative number in star ratings, it would have one. First off.....it was dusty and dirty which caused off the chart reactions to my allergies so I went to the restroom to get some more tissue (since I used all I had carried with me). I went into the stall and there were feces all over the toilet, wall, and floor. I freaked and ran out. That was my immediate cue to leave but my husband wanted to purchase some shampoo before leaving the store. We went to the section and the shelves were rusted and covered in leaking bath and body care products. The combination of this whole experience had me so grossed out that I wouldn't touch anything else in the store. I left, scrubbed my hands with sanitizer solution in the car to keep me until I got home. As soon as we walked through the door me and my husband gunned straight for the shower. This is by far one of the nastiest stores I have ever been in. I will not be returning. read more
