Since we do not have a location in Las Vegas, we enjoy stopping when we can most commonly in LA. But upon discovering one here in Fort Lauderdale, we decided to take the opportunity to visit. Very clearly the largest physical store State & Liberty we have been too, but also I am advised in the country, this is a very open layout to view the men's clothing offerings. Quickly welcomed and asked if we are familiar with the brand, the staff is on point with customer service. The brand is relatively new and they want to make sure customers know what sets their products apart for the menswear pack. Athletic cuts and wrinkle free is what set them apart to us. Staff is excellent in their knowledge of the brand and fabrics. Declining the water, coffee and beer options offered us as we browse, we feel taken care of with their hands-off approach to our visit. Quick to help with sizes though and know they are available to assist if need be, we immediately like being here and stopping in. We walked away with a sweater and a shirt today. With athletic cut, non-wrinkle, contemporary cool, high end looking options to offer my husband who has an image to uphold in the world, we continue to love this brand. From suits to shirts purchased in the past and also the sweater and pants we are walking out with today, we have not been disappointed in the quality or cut of State & Liberty. A great store and we are glad we stopped in.

I walked into State & Liberty to check out their clothing selection. I had never been to one of…read moretheir stores before. When I walked in, someone said Hello, but he was busy with other customers, so I browsed around. I liked the fashion styles of the store. Most of the shirts are in the $95 range, where the blazers and jackets are in the $250--500 range. The store itself is very roomy, cozy and nicely setup for formal, casual and athletic wear. The company was founded in 2015 in Ann Arbor, Michigan by University of Michigan friends Steven Fisher and Lee Moffie, the current joint CEOs of the company. The two decided to name the company after an intersection in Ann Arbor, in honor of the town. The idea for State & Liberty originated with Moffie and Fisher believing men with an athletic build wearing off-the-rack dress shirts lacked a professional look. Inspired by Lulu Lemon and athleisure apparel trends that stray away from traditional cotton fabric, the duo prototyped hundreds of fabrics and dress shirt fits on professional hockey players to accommodate their 'V-shaped' body type. Eventually, they settled with their athletic fitting dress shirt made from Athletic Performance Fabric (APF). State and Liberty started as a fully self-funded small business. The company's product line includes athletic-fitting, moisture-wicking, and wrinkle-free dress shirts. In 2017, the company introduced multiple products, including a polo shirt, a long sleeve polo shirt, and an overcoat. Today, you can find a wide variety of shirts and styles at the store.

I found a "Pirate" collection shirt that I've never heard of before as well as all sorts of different brands of footwear not found in your regular shoe store. The places is loaded with good choices in fashion, both in men's and in women's. The funny thing is they kind of meld together so for some items, picking the men's from the women's might take more time than a mere glance. I also found the clerks to be not only super friendly but knowledgeable and helpful as well.

I put a dress on hold to pick up later during a sale they had and called to confirm that i would pick it up before driving there, and all was ok. When my bf got to the store to pick up the dress after we confirmed that the dress was on hold still, the manager didnt want to honor the sale after we previously confirmed over the phone. It was a total waste of time , and seriously it wasnt even about the money at that point , it was about the waste of time and the fact that the employees dont even know what they are saying, they contradict themselves deceiving the customer big time. Never buying again from them they lost an excellent client.

Large selection of dress belts, loafers and noteably the Paul & Shark Italian polo shirts which are internationally well-made at a $300.00 price point. He informed me that they offer FREE tailoring with clothing purchases.

A lot of non-Maus and Hoffman clothing, Bollick and Jones?  I was invited to the store's big "spring sale". Was under the impression they would have sale prices on some of their current catalogue items. I had never been before and figured I'd give it a try. Turns out this was simply a clearance sale of older merchandise (some items/styles looked to be years old). Not much at all in common sizes. Evidently, this same merchandise had previously circulated through the Palm Beach store's spring sale, so basically leftovers of the leftovers. I told the salesman, first time/last time. Pretty much a complete waste of time. Shameful!!! On my previous visit to the store back in the early spring, I went there because I was in a bind for a pair of black slacks. Had an event to go to the following day and somehow was lacking black pants, must have left all I have up north. Explained to the salesman I had everything I needed but was short the black pants. He was very pleasant, showed me the different styles, materials as well as prices. As I was trying to figure out which pants I wanted, this other salesperson came over and started showing me jackets, shirts, and shoes. I told him I didn't need anything else, but he kept pressing me. He insisted I put on the store shoes while I tried on the black pants.  Finally, I had to snap at the creepy guy before he eventually disappeared. Ridiculous!!! Recently, I arrived early down in Las Olas for a lunch event and thought I would run in the store and see what new items they had. I walked in the place, it literally smelled like Taco Bell and it was warm, like 85 degrees in the store. I walked in stayed for about 30 seconds and walked out. Speechless!!!
