In this shopping strip, there's a Ross, Marshalls, and a Home Goods. I'm least likely to shop at Ross, but it's still worth the trip if you're looking for deals. There's nothing wrong with Ross and I'm sure other locations are fantastic, but this one seems to always be in a state of disorganization that I just don't feel like dealing with. Maybe it's that there is too MUCH stuff to sort through. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I don't know. What I do know is that the options are plentiful if you don't mind sorting through things. They have clothes, shoes, accessories, home decor, travel needs, perfume/cologne, food items, probably many other things that I don't have the patience to look for. Four stars because they have good options, but you have to be ready and willing to deal with possible chaos. Also, for what it's worth, you can't take their carts outside. They all have a giant pole sticking up that won't allow them through the doors. Sure, it means that they don't need anyone to bring carts in from outside, but it also means that if you actually have a cart full of stuff, you're either going to have to carry it all out or have someone watch your cart while you pull up to the doors. Thankfully there's usually a person near the front who probably won't mind. I will give them credit for helping my mom when she was shopping alone with my toddler. I pulled the car up and they watched her cart while she brought him out to me and then went back in for her bags. read more

Love shopping at Ross for some great finds at a great price. The selection can be hit or miss. I find I either find a million things or leave empty handed. Store can be neat and tidy or a disaster. This location on this trip, the store was pretty organized. We didn't find anything today and thus, didn't have any interaction with staff. We'd return. read more

Always clean and well arranged. Always something new to discover. Employees are super friendly and helpful.

Today I went to shop at Ross during Texas tax free weekend. I had my 3 kids with me. It was a long tiring day. I have a 2 year old which he was tired and cranky from all day shopping. He fell asleep in my arms. I lay him down briefly on a pillow in the cart so I could check out. The cashier associate: 411821(African American) Reg. 2 store:0547, saw and told me I had to buy the pillow because he laid down on it. I attempted to explain that I just used it so my hands could be free in order to check out. My 10 year old daughter was going to put it back, she shouted "no give it here". We gave it to her. Then another associate was placing the pillow to return it to the area she said no that has to be cleaned out because he drooled on it. I told her my son didn't drool, he was barely even on it. She began to tell me she doesn't know what we Mexicans( I'm Puerto Rican) have and who knows what else (diseases) we have. A lady on the side(African American as well) couldn't believe she said that, she shook her head and rolled her eyes in disbelief as well. I was so embarrassed hurt and frustrated all at the same time. How could someone be like that?! I'm like you don't know what kind of disease people have or what they do when their trying clothes on. This type of behavior should not be allowed. She gave me my receipt then mumbled Don't return to this store again. I was in shock, if I had a clear head I would have not bought anything and left. My husband was beyond mad. How can you speak to customers like that. I am not surprised. It seems like this employee needs more training. The entire time I was in the line she could be heard bossing customers around. Making them take hangers from the clothes, talking to them in a condescending way. My daughter asked me when we left. Mom why was she acting like that. I am so ashamed my daughter had seen that. I don't know if I will ever go back back to Ross. If I do, it will never be to that store. Dressing room was a disaster. Not only were clothes left in there, but there was trash everywhere. The store is always hot. We throw out sweat every time we go in to the store. We had one item that didn't have a price and there wasn't another one around like it, so we took it to the register when we checked out. Having worked in retail for many years, I know there is coding on the labels or nearby, that has the information to look up the item to get a price. She had no clue as to what to do. Our cashier was Ana. We hadn't even given our payment when she was calling for the next customer to come to the register. She was doing it to everyone. She didn't greet anyone as they approached the register. No 'Thank You' or 'Have A Good Day'.. nothing. Now, I do understand the reasoning behind having security, visible or not, but this place makes you feel guilty about just walking in. I know I'm not the only one that feels like this. I've had other people tell me the same thing. They are the store greeter. They have one Security person ( I think they actually call it Loss Prevention Officer in this store) who is about 7 foot tall. He could double as a search light in the store and oversee everything..LOL. I like shopping there most of the time. You can get some GREAT deals, and I did that night. It was just some of the other issues that make it hard to shop there. read more

The cashier told me to take the clothes off the hanger. Nobody, I mean nobody tells me what to do!! I shook my head no and he said "we will see." He proceeded to check out the person in line in front of me the other cashier was doing the "returns" line and only two cashiers were on duty. The one that told me to take the hangers off finished with the customer and called the next one from the "returns" line twice before he called me up to the register. Very rude. What this kid does not know is that I have a health condition and am in a lot of pain in my hands. I do not have to explain my condition out loud in a store when there are ten people in line behind me. So much for customer service!!!! read more

I love the deals at Ross! I absolutely hate the check outs. I cannot remember being in any Ross that was any different. There are never enough checkers. It normally takes me longer to check out than to shop. Management needs to do some "secret shopping". read more

This place is ridiculous, yes you will find cheap stuff that is of course cheap quality for gifts or simple everyday stuff, but it comes with a cost. The employees here are clearly miserable and act like they don't want to be dealing with people at all. Now besides cashiers I'm not sure what the sales associates do exactly since the store is ALWAYS a mess, stuff thrown all around, products opened or incomplete, kids running all around and bumping into you when you're trying to shop, it's just awful. To top it all off, you're always treated like you are a freaking thief, and not just by loss prevention but by the supervisor herself. She nearly stripped search us and questioned even the baby food and baby coat we had that clearly belonged to my baby as it is 40 degrees outside! just ridiculous. If you're so paranoid people are stealing maybe you shouldn't be so cheap and hire more/better associates to help on the floor and keep your store organized, and clearly better loss prevention associates. read more

If I could put minus 10 points I would plus minus 10 more! Oh goodness where to start.... ok let's start with the cramped setting and kids unattended running wild almost running you over with the carts they are playing with, then the selection is less than ok even for a bargain store, then there is the crazy lady in back where you try your clothes on trying to eye ball you threw your clothes like you stole something! Oh geez's! Then after she almost pat searched me with her eyes, and still is eyeball checking my coat (mind you it's cold outside today) just in case I might of happened to put a rack of clothes in my thin coat or something, I guess???!!! Then I went in and not one of the stalls had a lock on it.....????! !!!! Mind blowing!!!! Never will i go to a store that treats everyone like they steal, no no no never again! read more

Went looking for a few shirts/blouses for fall and the employees were really rude. The lady in the dressing room acted like my friend and I were criminals and wouldn't even let me bring my drink into the dressing room! We won't be going back there. read more
