I was reading the bad reviews like I always do. They appear to be over one year ago. So let me tell you a lot had changed since then. The store is clean, the service is fantastic, the fitting room personnel is lovely, respectful and fast. I highly recommend this Ross in Pearland. read more

PSA don't ever ask for an extra bag from Ross! We had asked an extra bag for our clothes since the cashier decided to smush all of them together. Which led to the "security" lady in the front giving us crazy attitude and making us take out each and every single item out of our bag. She kept giving us a B***h attitude the whole time and caused a scene infront of every customer. If you like a Ross with horrible workers, this is the place for you. Not to mention she decided to laugh in our faces as well during the whole situation. All because we asked for an extra bag. I will always remember this fake security black lady that thinks she owns the store and we're too poor to shop there. read more

This ross is a joke, there is always a 1 hr line wait for the 2 fitting rooms that they have. Security that was there 3/13/25 from 1-3pm (short, dark male, kind of has a beard/mustache) is a joke. He was disrespectful and kept trying to talk to and sing to teenage girls the entire time. Clearly they have a pedophile working there and don't care. 5/17/2024 9:40 pm Terrible customer service, old African American lady shoved past my partner and I to get to a rack. The employees always have an attitude and flat out will ignore you if you ask them a question. Plus this place always smells like mothballs. What a shame. 0/10 do not recommend. read more

7/13/23 @ 6:00 pm Lady at the dressing room is rude & doesn't seem to have sense of what's going on. Very forgetful and then gets mad at the customer like it's not her fault honestly make us feel humiliated. if you don't like customer service find another job . the service here has been going down hill for a while now . most of the staff is very entitled and stuck up . I know typical response from owners is "bye Karen" but if it isn't the first time you receive this kind of review , you should consider reviewing the staff and management. read more

I love Ross dress for less you never know what treasures you're going to find. each one from store to store has some of the same but lots of different goodies to find. go with the notion of 'what can I find' that is unique to any other store. call when you have plenty of time to just look and browse. read more

Every time I come to Ross is smells musty, it's dirty and untidy, and I never find what I'm looking for because of it. Not to mention it's always short-staffed. The only time you should come is if you don't mind waiting and just want to spend money. Because you just never know what you'll find Or when you'll find it. Every once in a while I find a steal. Extra cashier walked away when there was a line for no reason. The person cleaning made me move so she could mop where the only available cash register was, which makes no sense, because that is the only place I saw her mop and for some reason that couldn't wait. Then proceeded to put the wet Floor sign right in front of the register so there is no good place to stand. Everyone seemed depressed to work there and they were having most of the customers "take their own receipt" from the receipt printer that was facing the cashier, which just shows how bad the customer service is. read more

Poor customer service. The returns attendant was rude and uncooperative about a Christmas return that had part of the sticker (price part) removed. When I asked to speak to her supervisor, she turned as if to call someone and then said she was one of the managers. Even after showing her that the receipt matched the item number, she refused to take the return and had a horrible attitude practically yelling saying "like I told the lady before you and the lady before that, if the sticker ain't there all the way, I'm not taking it". I left and went to the Ross off 45 and shaver and was able to return the item without a hitch. I hope they work on their customer service here and truly hope she was lying about being a manager. If she is management, that's a major disappointment. read more

Lazy and ghetto staff working at this location. They can make you wait for a long time in line, but when it's your turn, they don't want to bother taking even a minute to allow you to sort the things you need to return. The staff already said it didn't match by looking at the description of one tag without even looking at other tags that were there as well for the returns. They just tell you to move aside. Then you have to wait for your turn again after waited so long. Don't bother going here. read more

Let me start by saying I LOVE Ross. I am all about a good deal and they certainly have them. But this location in particular has horrible customer service. They always say they are understaffed but that doesn't account for the poor attitude all the employees always have. And they attitude issues are most definitely directed at customers since they can be found chatting amongst themselves cheerily rather often. I am a firm believer of catching more flies with honey but these employees are beyond the point of giving a s@*% what any customer of their store needs/wants. Unfortunate because I am someone that could easily spend a lunch hour a week in this store but because of how unpleasant their staff is, I rarely go anymore. read more

Well I'm guessing management does not read the reviews for their stores. The two previous reviews were poor. Very reflective of what I experienced. I noticed very few customers in the store between 5:30 and 6:00 pm when people are leaving work. I have to say I purchased several items and I'm guessing one of the larger sales they had today. I did not know the shopping carts could not be taken to the car, as I had purchased way more than I could carry. As I tried to go out the door, no one came up to me to tell me the carts can't go out. The person who looked to be a manager was purchasing a small item (while there was a line at the main checkout counter) and smirked while saying the carts don't go out. No one came and asked if I needed help or offered to watch my purchases while I get my car. For all the commercials I have seen for Ross, I would think care for the customers is important. read more

I'm not sure what's going on but this store was so boring, no excitement, no kids running around the store knocking over things. LoL. The store was dry as a desert, it was almost empty. Guess they're not putting out the new merchandise until they get rid of the stuff no one wants. read more

Where is the zero star option? I walked into this store today just to kill some time (storm knocked out my electricity at home). As my feet crossed the threshold, I was instantly stopped by an employee informing me that my Sonic drink was not allowed. As I stared at her for a moment in shock, she rudely repeated herself. Let me be honest: you are a DISCOUNT clothing store. I'm glad you think the hugely pregnant lady pushing her toddler in a stroller is going to mangle your wares with her lidded drink. I will not ever set foot in another Ross. I'll happily spend my money in a place with higher quality goods that will allow a pregnant woman her drink. read more

This location has a poor selection of shoes. Not only do they barely have any to begin with, they are also overpriced! The clothes are overpriced as well, and most of them aren't even name brand. The home items are pretty affordable though, but the customer service is bad and the lines are always long. read more

This was the WORST shopping experience ever for me because of the way I was treated by the person left in charge as the "Manager on Duty", (Jacqueline). That says a lot because I shop a lot. They must be desperate for help if she is the best they have to leave in charge. The way she tried to speak to me was very rude and disrespectful and I was not having it. She was also rude to the cashier seeking help from her. She obviously is not happy with her life but she should not bring that into her place of work.
