Today was a beautiful day with me and my children, the first office day I've had in a month. I came to do a little light shopping as usual. I came across a couple of items until my children needed to use the restroom. Patiently waiting for the fitting room clerk to assist my son she gave him dirty looks as he said "excuse me may you open the restroom for me" she ignored him twice until I saw a Second clerk passing. I brought to her attention that my children needed to use the facilities and that her coworker was ignoring my child's request and when I asked the lady walked off from me. The second clerk brought it to her attention because she had the key. The clerk in question (Ms. Nyra) snapped on her and gave her a dirty look as well. She then helped another person before deciding to open the door for my children. Instead of letting my sons in she went straight to the ladies room and said to my daughter "hurry up, go in" then proceeds. to tell my sons "go". As she walked off speaking another language while giving me dirty looks. The only reason why I gave two stars is because the manager stated he would talk to Nyra. This clerk needs reeducation on customer service and needs to be removed from public interaction until she understands how to conduct herself in a high demand area of the store. If you are seeing this ma'am be grateful that my family and I serve a God that is loving because had it been another day you would have been check accordingly. I was so upset I left the items I wanted to buy and had to have a conversation with my children about the importance of being respectful to any person no matter your life choices. read more

I am handicapped and use a power scooter. I have been doing business here for many, many years and spend a lot of money here. But my powers scooter was running low on battery and I asked them to let me plug in. They refused. I asked the manager and she refused. I am saddened that I can no longer shop there. But there are lots of stores to do business in. It's their loss. I would have spent money there today. read more

DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION!!! Man in the front YELLING at people in line SEVERAL times from the register to take off hangers is rude and condescending. There's a way to politely suggest to remove hangers than to just SCREAM at customers and command for them to do as you say. Really horrible place. So condescending to customers. I went to the fitting room and guy standing in front not doing anything except sternly telling you to pick up the number tab that matches with how many clothes you are trying on. Well what are you getting paid for then? Why are you letting customers do all your work while barking out orders? Same thing with checkout line. It's a long line since only 2 people working at the register. Then they are rude and yell at you from the register to take out all the hangers from the clothes as you are standing in line. Sometimes they have good stuff here. I went here recently and they had a good selection of dresses. The juniors ladies section is usually a mess though. I rarely find anything of good quality here as far as casual clothes are concerned. Sure the clothes here are usually a bit cheaper than TJ MAXX, but the quality is less. I'd rather head over to TJ MAXX or Marshalls for most other things. Ross has a bigger selection of dresses than TJ MAXX at more affordable prices. Generally, the store is pretty messy because the crowd that shops at Ross are usually the typical Walmart shoppers looking for super cheap deals. I assume this is why anyways...either this or the workers aren't trying to put things up. Overall, you can get some good bargains at Ross, but I usually shop at the more organized and clean TJ MAXX down the block to see if they have what I want before heading over to the messier Ross. read more

Every time I come here, I'll be waiting in line and I'm up next and in walks someone to do a return and they get priority and get to go in front of everyone despite they havnt had to wait. Why give people priority and a special line because they don't want your products and are returning their items when the rest of us are purchasing new items???? Makes no sense. Vans, Vans, Vans!!!! This store has turned me into Imelda Marcos if she had a sex change. Vans, Airwalk and Vision Street Wear shoes for $19.00 or less? You bet! I can not go to this store without leaving with a few pairs of shoes. Finding the right size in the style you want can be a bit of a problem so I check back often. My shopping companion always seems to find bargain dresses, blouses, skirts and pants. All name brand, and at excellent prices. I have yet to find a blouse or skirt I would wear. I guess that's nitpicking since I never wear women's clothes. I would give an extra star if I could find Jeans there. They have tons of men's jeans and all at very cheap prices if you wish to look like Snoop Doggy Dog or Eminem. I prefer to hide my boxers behind good old fashioned Levi's 501'S. read more

I went in the location in San Antonio Tx at bandera point and an employee was extremely rude to me. He would not let me take my shopping cart with my child in it in the dressing room because he said it was store policy. Well your store policy shouldn't be making it difficult for paying customers especially MOTHERS to try on what they want to purchase. He was so rude about it. He actually made me question if it was store policy to be rude to customers. He was the only male I saw working in the store. He had glasses and a plaid shirt. If you want to try on more than 8 pieces of clothing be prepared to make multiple trips to the dressing room. If you have a 2 piece outfit you have to go all the way to the front of the store and wait in line to get it separated. Also, the cash register people don't even give you time to grab your bags before calling the next customer to the check out. Horrible experience. I won't be shopping in this trash ass store anymore. It's all overpriced junk that they got at a discounted price because the clothes are all damaged with crooked stitching. TJ max is 1000 times better when it comes to customer service AND the store is nicer. The way Ross is set up looks like trash. read more

It's 11 am on a Saturday and a week before Christmas and they have two registers open.. there is a manager watching the registers and not helping and there are associates on the floor putting up displays-- hey about you take care of the customers? Disappointed that I won't be shopping at Ross any longer due to poor customer service. Three weeks ago I spent around $200 on clothes for my grandkids for our annual trip. I kept the clothes to remove tags and fold for packing and found that one pair of Under Armor athletic shorts still had the security ink tag attached. When I walked in the store, the alarm went off of course and I stopped so they would see me bring them into the store. They asked if I had my receipt and I explained that I did not because they were tried on at purchase but I didn't realize the tag was still attached until removing three weeks later. I was told they couldn't take it off without the receipt! I told them I guess they could keep them then and left them there. I'm a 60 year old grandmother, not a criminal! Brick & mortars need to do a MUCH better job of taking care of good customers. Using their good judgment on an individual case by case base would be a refreshing change! read more

I will NEVER be going to THIS Ross again. I went in and looked around for less than 20 min, because I knew what I was looking for and tried to hurry out. My 8 year old daughter was having a moment because that's what happens once her medication starts to wear off. I tried to hurry because I didn't want for anyone else's shopping experience to be interrupted but as I checked out I got her and had my son grab my other daughter and on our way out the manager said to a cashier that he never heard such a horrible cry and the cashier said she felt so bad for us. They didn't say it for me to hear or else I would have gone back in at them and got their names but my son heard them and waited until we got home because he knows how defensive I get. I don't need them to feel sorry for me, but a little less ignorance would be good. My daughter isn't a bratty child but she has condition, so they should keep their rude comments to themselves and not in front of other paying customers! That was VERY unprofessional. read more

Everyone was waiting in line and an employee shouts "everyone take off the hangers from your clothing, helps speed up the process for everyone waiting, thanks" in an entitled, brash tone. I said "okay..I'll do your job" he comes up and says "here, I'll do it for you" in yet another poor tone like he was so inconvenienced by me and begins throwing everything all over the place exaggerating removing the hangers. I said "great customer service too" sarcastically. Turns out this BOY was also the manager of this poor location. Didn't catch his name on his tag, he was moving very fast around the store due to being flustered by everyone in store. Talked to customers in a demeaning tone as if we are the employees AS well as the employees he was sadly managing. Poor employees and poor store. Do yourself a favor Ross and get rid of a "team member" that spreads negativity, has no control over their frustration in a busy environment, inability to excel in professionalism in this environment, acts as though everything is an inconvenience in his world, and would instead blame the customers for the wait in line than to just help out on an available register. This was the only poor experience I have had at Ross, sorry. read more
