The service is horrible ! Seems like the staffs life is so horrible working at Kohls ! All the employees look like they don't even wanna be there . I went to buy bunch of clothes for my vacation worth about $700 and the staff was so unprofessional and rude . I value my time and money so I ended up putting all the items back and took my business elsewhere . I won't be dealing with that type of negative energy . Definitely need new staff because it seems like this location and Potranco location is the same type of service. Definitely don't recommend Kohl's . I see why they have such a low ratings . Also they may deal signs to trick you you're getting 20 percent off certain items and when you go check out they " apologize " for incorrect placement of their signs . I usually only go into Kohl's to do returns but I did some looking at sales since Christmas is over with. So I walked around and I honestly don't think anyone works here. I love Kohl's but I can never find help! They need to do some hiring especially after the holidays because the mess was out of control. Also around the kids shoes I swear it smelled as if a child pooped over there. The smell was so gross! I'm not blaming the store on that one but I can't be the only one who smelt that! Now I go often and it still strongly think this place is a three star based off there is never employees around to help. You can improve to teach your workers even the Hispanic ones to not racially profile people and follow them around. Note everyone that is a minority steals I was followed in the store a couple of times today. Could see that I was being profiled. Teach some diversity training. I am a proud retired military veteran and I have money. The ladies even the Hispanics ones that work there, will racially profile if you are not white or look white. Ok so they were back to normal today. I have not been inside in yrs (since stopping by yesterday) so much has changed in just the front of the store. So curbside is no longer and now they have a new self pick up. Which you go kinda behind/side of the CS counter and it is filled with numbered bins, and u go find your bin with ur pick up number and confirm on ur phone u got it. lol kohls must have faith in the thieves but hopefully it doesn't get crazy where they have to get rid of it. I need to go again and look around and see what else has changed but they have Halloween decor out and seems lk some good variety. read more

I didn't take pictures this time. They have absolutely zero pride in their workplace it's such a pain to shop at kohls as nothing is where it's supposed to be nothing by style by color or by size I am sure it starts out that way but they never fix it . I will get a comment in a couple of days that says they are sorry about the appearance of their store but they won't fix it . While my wife was shopping I took the time to refill their graphic T's so the store is about 99.8 % ready to open in the morning . This Kohl's is extremely well organized and have plenty of sizes and styles to choose from! I came looking for some Jurassic World shirts for my dino-loving daughter and have been to several other Kohl's locations across San Antonio in search of a particular shirt she wanted. None of the stores I visited had the shirt, yet this Kohl's was very well stocked with a surplus of available sizes. They were carefully folded and neatly stacked, so much so, I felt a little guilty sifting through them to find the size I needed. I took great care not to dismantle the immaculate display. All was well until I realized I was being watched by the salesperson craning her neck as she folded and organized a nearby display. She was giving me the stink eye as to warn me not to undo what she, quite possibly, spent the last hour laboring over. I chuckled as I neatly placed the stack back on the shelf thinking, "This store wouldn't look this nice if it weren't for employees like her." I appreciate the elaborate organizational effort of the employees here and the fact that they seem to take a great deal of pride in their work. It makes shopping and accessibility quite pleasant. Even though it is a long way from home, I will definitely considering shopping at this location from now on. read more

I thought kohl's and the whole amazon return with no hassle was amazing. It was right there at the front of the store and literally took like no time at all. Now...they have moved it back to the rear of the store and it's hard to see with all the inventory cluttering every free space. This will probably be the last time I use the amazon drop returns. Too bad was soo nice. Otherwise, I don't shop there everything is jacked up until you take a million discounts and I'm not about that pricey game. Target for the win. read more

The store is usually a wreck and the check out lines are a zoo. Other than that, if you have time to wander then it's not a big deal. Computerized sale signs are hit or miss on being correct. Hence why the check out lines are a mess, people arguing on what a sign said vs. what got rung up - it's happened to me plenty of times. I love all of the Food Network products they carry. I wish they carried 95 inch curtains in the store; I don't like paying for shipping charges, I think it's tacky to be charged just because the store doesn't carry something. They always have fun holiday decor and I wait until AFTER the holiday to grab everything at more than 50% off. Some items are priced well but others are over priced, I can find shoes and clothes cheaper at Macy's. Just depends what you're looking for. read more

Kohl's is a new addiction of mine. I blame the Kohl's cash. I like that they have a Petite's section and how large their variety of options are. Everything from casual to work wear. The thing that annoys me is that the hangers are never correct. The hanger could say XL but the shirt that's on it is a S. This happened several times as I was shopping and it was one of the most annoying things ever. The staff is rude and the disorganization of the clothes is extremely irritating which is why I only give Kohl's a 3-star. I won't go here for a while now since I've stocked up on clothes. But, it's not bad - you just have to be in the mood for shopping! :P read more

I have a very debilitating form of MS. I just had to start using a cane. I came to the store today to purchase a new set of sheets. When I get up to the register the female sales associate says very loudly with many people around "omg what is wrong with you" "why do you have a cane" I don't know this lady, she does not know me. I was so shocked so embarrassed. I told her you never ask anyone what is wrong with them. Physically or mental handicaps. That is against the law. ADA is a real thing. It's there to protect people from this type of thing. When I left I went to my car and cried for a long time. I am so upset. So hurt so embarrassed. I shouldn't have to worry about going out in public with a cane. When I called the store manager after getting transferred 3 times, her response was "im sure she didn't mean to upset you" "I will talk to her" and that's basically it. No real apology no service recovery. No let me come outside and check on you. She evidently was too busy to worry about this very serious situation. So therefore, we will no long give our money to a company that does not protect their customers. Not online not in the stores. I did not deserve to be treated that way. Very disappointed. read more

Manager is just awful and checkout ladies are people they probably hire off the streets with no real education or common sense. They are certainly NOT taught any customer service skills. Most employees there are rude to customers. My check out lady was a African lady with an accent wearing glasses (I wish I had written her name down) who was asking many personal questions and offering her opinion on US politics. I asked her to please just scan my purchases so I can be on my way. She rolled her eyes and threw items in the bag. At the parking lot I realized she scanned things wrong and did not take my coupons accurately. I then had to stand in customer service line for over 20 minutes and they had to redo everything. Bad part is that the manager is not receptive to anything going wrong in this store. She ignores customers' concerns and has a "oh well" attitude. Very bad shopping experience. I ordered two items for in-store pick up and wasn't able to pick them up within the 7 day time frame because I was out of town. I received an email from Kohls saying I had the option of calling the store for an extension, so I did. An employee tells me she's not able to extend because I had already done so. I tell her that's incorrect, and this is my first time calling from the 7 day grace period. So she then speaks to her manager and tells me that they don't do extensions. Confused, I called the customer service hub and spoke to two representatives and they both tell me THEY SHOULD HAVE DONE THE EXTENSION. They put me on hold and try and get a hold of the store to explain the situation. I waited for an hour only to get disconnected. I'm extremely disappointed at the manager's incompetence and lack of customer service. read more

Went in today (6/23/19) to find an outfit, everything in the women's department was unorganized. Hanger sizes didn't reflect the sizes on the clothing. So that made shopping much harder. I tried on a skirt however the sizing was wrong so I went to the apt 9 racks only to find a crazy unorganized mix of clothing that was all different brands. Felt more like a discount store then kohl's. Looked around at the men's, home and kids department and they all seemed very clean and organized. The shoe department was a disaster, shoes were everywhere. I nearly tripped multiple times trying to walk out of that department. Accident waiting to happen. Nightmare experience! I placed an order for same day in store pick up last night, and when I went in to pick it up today (15 hours after placing it), my order wasn't ready. The employee at customer service told me to wait off to the side and someone from the section I ordered from would be over shortly. I waited, expecting someone to come over and bring me the pillows I had ordered. Instead, an employee came over and asked if I needed the process of in store pick up explained to me. I told her that she must have the wrong person, because I was just waiting for my order. She went over and talked to the customer service employee I had originally spoken with. The customer service employee then rudely turned to me and said "You need it explained to you right? Because you obviously don't understand how the process works. I mean you did only place your order a few hours ago". First off, online it said 2-3 hours until my order would be ready, and I waited even longer than that because I knew they would be busy with Black Friday orders. Secondly, I have had poor customer service before. But this is the first time I was actually shocked by how blatantly rude and condescending an employee was to me. Other customers looked especially shocked by this reaction from her, and looked over to me to see my response. My husband turned to me and said "That was rude right?", and a customer standing next to us said "Yes, very". The employee who had been called over to "explain" the process to me apologized for her behavior and quickly tried to sweep it under the rug. She told me that the system had crashed and they had upwards of 300 orders to process and they had no way of knowing where I was on the list or when my order would be ready. It could be days she told me, not the 2-3 hours I was told when I purchased the order. So I was physically in the store that I had driven half an hour to get to. The pillows were physically in the store. But I couldn't leave with the pillows I had ordered. Cheryl, the manager, finally came over and told me that I could purchase the pillows in the store and she would apply all of the coupons that I was able to use online. She started listing blame on all of the orders placed and the system crashing. Not once did she apologize for the rude employee, for my order not being ready, or for the nightmare experience I had trying to do the simple task of picking up an order. No other compensation was offered for the time I had wasted. I will never come back to this store, and I recommend that you avoid this location also. read more

They email their customers at 5pm on Sundays with emails that contain discount coupons; at the end of the email the fine print reads "today only". I learned this today after receiving an email yesterday evening for 25% off. I hadn't been to Kohl's in quite some time since they never seem to have any good deals anymore. I made the trip to the Bandera Pointe location to redeem the coupon and when the cashier tried to scan it, it was expired! I asked him how can it be I just received it yesterday evening! Sure enough it was expired. After searching through my emails from Kohl's, I realized that there's a pattern of these Sunday evening offers . I'm not sure what kind of tactic this is but it's ridiculous. I'm sure they mark up their merchandise before they send these offers out. I had stopped shopping here when I realized how they started manipulating their coupons and offers in ways that don't actually save customers any money or serve the customer in any way! They've closed off one entrance and seem to have reduced their staff, so they always have long lines that wrap around the store. I found out from a friend that they no longer give Kohl's cash either. I'm not a big fan of Kohl's. I hardly ever find anything I want or like. So what does my mom get me? A $50 gift card. (Love you mom!) Begrudgingly, I pick out 5 items, most of which I'm not even enamored with, but decide if I don't get them, I'll never get rid of the damn gift card. I had been really needing some shorts that don't show the whole kit and caboodle (which I failed to find here.) I figured I'd settle on the short shorts or Capris since there was nothing in between. The sizing is all whack here. I was trying on things 2 sizes bigger than what I normally wear and it was still tight. I go to check out, and the associate asks me if I have a Kohl's card, etc...and I say no, but I'm not really interested. Then she proceeds to do the spiel on it anyway! Ugh, I know you have to ask every customer, but come on, I said I wasn't interested. That means I don't want to hear about it. It doesn't mean I said no, but go ahead anyway. Then after she rang me up fully, I was $30 over the amount on the card. I felt annoyed because it was $30 I didn't really want to spend on stuff I didn't particularly want. So as I was leaving, I saw there was a Dots right across the way and decided to try my luck there on some shorts and I found exactly what I was looking for, for prices so much cheaper!!! So after I left Dots I came back to return the stuff I got from Kohl's. I waited in line, only for the guy to tell me they can't do returns at the register and I have to go to the back of the store. That is the most absurd thing I have ever heard. They had literally, LITERALLY, 5 employees standing around the registers doing nothing. Yet I still had to walk all the way to the back and stand in another line. Doing a simple return isn't even convenient! Maybe I would be happier with Kohl's if they had better pricing but their merchandise is marked up too high, in my opinion, and the quality is equal to that of other retailers with cheaper prices. I'd also consider paying those prices for good customer service but that's pretty lackluster. While we were in the store, my boyfriend asked a passing associate if they had men's sunglasses and in an unsure tone told him to check over by men's. Wow, thanks! NOT. Worse yet, now after returning most of my items except for a shirt and skirt, I have $17 left on the gift card that I'm going to have a hell of a time trying to find something to spend it on. read more
