Really appreciate the customer service here. Honestly, it's some of the best and consistent service I've experienced in town. Every customer is greeted and checking out is quick. I love shopping at Ross. I never have an issue shopping. Bathrooms are always clean. I would say half of the staff are nice. But the other half seem they have an attitude no matter how polite you are to them they just don't smile back and as they hate their jobs that's why I'm rating it 4 stars just because of staff read more

I'm giving it 3 stars because they do have some polite staff, nice security guards and some decent things. They don't appear to stock. My complaint is, that they still charge a full price on their cosmetics and other damaged things. I found some makeup, then you open it, and there is nasty finger prints, broken eye shadow and some of the products were used (which is a major health issue). Yeah, don't need pink eye or herpes from contaminated makeup. They have security, it would be great if they checked that area, more, and told people to respect the property. If stuff is broken from the tacky people that let their kids run wild, you're going to need to discount stuff, so people can buy it and also purchase the supplies to repair it. Ross is one of my favorite stores to shop at in general. I love every one I go to, including this one in Yucca. They have nice staff, and I'm always greeted as I enter and exit the store as well as given good service. The only thing is, is that their selections are very limited. Sometimes when I go, the shelves are only half-full. Then when I visit again maybe a week or two later, either it's still the same or they've added new items but only barely. As a college student on a budget, I love Ross stores and I'm glad we have one here; this particular one just isn't my favorite. read more

I can't believe I'm the first person to give a review for the new Ross store in Yucca Valley. Whoever was in charge of hiring and training did a fantastic job. Each employee I spoke to was very professional looking, friendly and helpful. Now it is up to the local manager to pressure the company to increase the store's inventory by 30%. The lack of selection is the ONLY reason they don't deserve a perfect five. read more

This store is just aweful! Which is surprising since the palm springs store is so awesome to shop at! Variety and selection is scarse. The restrooms are appalling, and they treat their employees like crap! I witnessed what I assume was a "manager" degrade an employee, on the sales floor! Who really wants to hear that when they are shopping?! Very uncomfortable! Finally, this crap where the cashier doesn't even have the courtesy to hand you the recipient is ridiculous! When I asked about it, the cashier said its so they can't be held accoutable if you lose your reciept. Meaning if you lose the reciept, they will not give you your money back when your disatisfied with your items. That sounds like they really stand behind their products! I know its a "discount" store, but wow! Thank goodness this town has a Marshalls! read more

The store did not have a great selection, the shelves were about half stocked. The store was clean and easy to navigate. Kimberly was very polite and attentive when I was checking out. I'll try shopping there again to see if the stock increases but Amazon will still get most of my business. read more

Went to pick up new sheets for our bed. Upon selecting a bed set, my wife noticed a security tag was clamped through the plastic bag, and possibly making a hole in the sheet. Our experiences with sheets are, if there is a hole, it will soon be a gaping tear after going through the wash. So we take the package up front where there is a line and 2 cashiers. A shopper hadn't had enough to pay (gift card had .32), she walked out (probably to get more money). Instead of switching registers, or helping next in line, everyone's (Now 4 other parties waiting to pay) waiting for management to show up. When they do,of course their first response for cashier#2 to help the other customers, while they help cashier#1. Finally, we put the package down, but shes more interested in whats going on with #1. She was very frustrated that my wife wanted to inspect the sheets, and proceeded to tell her ALL SHEETS ARE REQUIRED to have the security pins pushed through the sheets. We tried asking why they needed to put it through the cloth, when it was already sealed in a plastic wrapping? She said so we don't get into it and take things! Well, we decided that the "savings" weren't worth the rude customer service, and don't like shopping where customers are perceived as thieves.
