Quintessential countryside BnB with some of the friendliest service possible. The property and grounds were beautiful. The rooms were clean and good quality. We ate dinner with them on Friday night. Lovely bar and library room where you have pre-dinner drinks and order your food for dinner. The dinner food wasn't bad, but wasn't that great either, but again the service and atmosphere could not have been better. Additionally, the breakfast was really nice. It's about a 30 minute drive to Galway and 45 minutes to Connemara. Highly recommended and we would definitely stay here again! read more

Incredible chicken liver pâté. Phenomenal warm cheese salad. My wife says it was the best lamb she ever had! Service for dinner and breakfast was attentive without being over bearing- and paced just right for the low key country setting. My wife prides herself as a tea snob- and keeps going on and on about their tea. Accommodation in the Lord Hardinge room were great- nicely appointed, bright and sunny with 2 large windows 1 with vey nice sitting chairs Functional bathroom space. I wish our plans allowed for a longer stay! read more

Wonderful country hotel in Counry Galway The hotel is owned and run by a husband and wife and they are very friendly.The rooms are very comfortable and grounds are lovely. An Irish breakfast of course comes with the room, but they do offer a full dinner in the evenings. We had one dinner at the house and thoroughly enjoyed it. The Irish breakfast was great. read more
