I stated I would be funding the legal fees with my credit cards; although she later emailed me a guarantor form, I never signed it or agreed to it. Despite this, the firm secretly slipped a predatory clause into the fee agreement anyway, stating that if my husband fell behind on his bill, they would place a lien directly on our house.Due to severe communication issues and massive staff turnover within the firm, our case went stagnant for months.
