Checked out this winery on the south shore of PEI this past summer. Some nice wines and they have a lovely outdoor area to sit and enjoy a glass. The staff were knowledgeable and accommodating. We arrived late but they allowed us to taste and then buy a glass and enjoy in their garden even though they were closing. We left when we were done and just left the glasses by their entrance. We enjoyed our visit here. The grounds are beautifully kept. Inside was a lovely gal who poured us wine. The wine choices were quite different and reflect the area. There are about 20 different wines. I tried the Mead, Marchel Foch, a maple wine, and had sips of a blueberry, and a cassis wine. All were enjoyable and some were award winners in fruit wine categories. The wines I tasted had a 'thick' feel. The berry wines were very fruit forward. The honey was dominant in the mead. Having the berry wines with ice cream came up, yes! Took home the mead, and the maple, to share with my bee and maple syrup buddy. We will enjoy them together. Thankful hubs was there to drive. I was a touch tipsy! So bring a driver with you. Didn't think I drank more than the equivalent of a glass, but it hit like two! read more

My visit to PEI came with an unexpected visit to a lovely winery. One of our random drives brought us to Rossignol Winery. A quaint winery is very inviting for visitors as well as locals on the island. Driving up you're greeted by a friendly retriever on the grounds. He's an older dog so you don't have to worry about him jumping up. The owner was polite and grateful. They have about 8 options of wine for a fun wine tasting. There were a few that I really gravitated toward and wished I could take home. Unfortunately they cannot ship to the US yet. I'll keep hoping they will soon. It was a rainy day and we stumbled across this winery. Outside the grape vines were beautiful and there were two sand sculptures that were very intricate. Inside was warm & cozy. Wine tasting is $1 per tasting but the money goes to a Children's Hospital. We liked all the wines we tried but really like the liqueur that had been aged for 10 years. Definitely worth the stop. read more

Beautiful winery and amazing products! We had been wanting to stop there a few times, and while visiting the island last week, we decided to take the time and stop in. The view is absolutely breathtaking, the customer service is wonderful and the wine is delicious! Worth the drive! read more
