It is RARE to find a medical practice that is timely. Not only were they timely, while with the doctor, not once did we feel rushed. I'm grateful for this and I'm writing my 5 star review for them so that they don't stop this gem of a trait!!! We have seen Dr. Eaton, and recently we have now been with Dr. Klopman. She is amazing!!!!!!! Tip: Appointments are booked out 2 months in advance, so keep that in mind when scheduling. Incredibly disorganized, will not lift a finger to accommodate any requests and routinely fills out paperwork wrong and prescribes medication that has nationwide shortages. do not allow Dr salzberg near your children. He is incompetent, neglectful, and actively harming his patients. he had our son on so many laxatives that he was dehydrated to the point of not being able to stay awake. he continually humiliates our son during appointments despite my son having special needs and not being able to handle the situation. he does not care about children. I am highly disappointed with the care my son received while being a patient here. As the parent I was constantly diamissed. We were rushed through tbr office every visit. My son was sick for several weeks and I took him in 3 seperate times to get checked out and I was told to give him warm liquids with no help. He eventually ended up in the ER with bronchiolitis. On another occasion he was prescribed double the dosage for his age and weight of Amoxicilin and threw up 6 times within a 12 hour window. I had to call the on call nurse on night because my son was acting very sick, the doctor on call asked me "Why am I calling you". I am sorry but you are the on call doctor, do your job. I was concerned about my sons tonsils and was constantly told he was fine. When we ended up in the ER the doctors told me he needed to be seen by an ENT. Please do not waste your time at this office. They do not care about you or your child. read more

Roswell pediatrics is the best of the best. We're so happy here and my kids truly love going to the doctor. We've seen several doctors and the NPs while patients here and they're all absolutely fantastic. We especially love Dr. Brian, Tara, and Nicole. They're all so kind, make my kids feel loved, and just absolutely phenomenal people. read more

Sadly, we will no longer be visiting this place. The past 4 times we have been, we have had to wait over 30 min just to get called back. No one seems to care either. I understand being a little behind, but over 30 min? Consistently?! At least talk to your patients and apologize. Our kids have been going here for years and it's a shame that we have to find another doc. read more

I went in for my four month old daughter's well check and to get vaccines. I waited an hour just to see the doctor and then instead of giving her the Polio vaccine, they accidentally injected her with the TB screening shot. This injection was 5x more than the dose recommended for babies and it was injected in the muscle, whereas TB shots are supposed to be just under the skin. I was told the screw up was due to the fact they keep the fluids close together in the fridge (which apparently they won't be doing anymore...). However, I obviously won't be returning. If they can't properly organize their vaccines/shots, what else might they be negligent on? read more

A great pediatric group that we have been seeing for our son and daughter for over 5 plus years. Right from scheduled visits to last minute emergencies, they are very hospitable. Dr. Silverman and Dr. Josephson will take the time to answer any and all questions you have. The mid-levels and support staff are equally good and never have we had a below average experience in the last 5 plus years. I highly recommend this practice for your kids. read more

This is a big mainstream pediatric practice. I have no major complaints really. They say they are breastfeeding friendly but they always seem surprised that I am breastfeeding my daughter (she is only one; not like I am nursing a 5 year old). I go there because of the location and they have Saturday hours at the Alpharetta office. I have seen Dr Silverman and Josephson. Both are nice. Today we saw a NP named Gaynor and she was nice as well. If you were struggling to breastfeed and you were going to this practice, i think you would quit (which is sad). But all in all, we like them and they serve their purpose (primary care for a healthy 1 year old). read more

I've gone to the Alpharetta and Cumming locations. The staff are friendly and attentive at both locations. Drs. Eaton and Blackington are awesome! Observing the other practitioners interaction with others, I have a feeling I would be in good hands with any of them. I'm a first time Mom, and even though sometimes I feel like I'm always calling or visiting, I've never been treated as a nuisance. I would recommend this practice without reservations! read more

They insisted on taking an anal temp on our newborn, despite him not showing any signs of fever. When I politely asked if they could perhaps take the temp in a less invasive fashion (forehead, armpit, mouth), and then if it looked bad they could do the anal temp, we were met with hostility. The nurse took a hasty forehead temp which read some ridiculous number (105 or somesuch). The doctor then came in and I asked what would happen if we refused the anal temp; she replied we would be "ordered" to go directly to the children's hospital for further evaluation. When I asked what would happen if we did not comply with this "order" she said she would call Child Protective Services. They got their anal probe, his temp was fine, and we immediately left the office. Idiots. read more

The wait is never long, and appointments aren't too hard to get. Dr. Eaton is the best! She answers all our questions and makes us feel at ease. We had a preemie, and she's been so helpful. Because our son is so small, we have him on a delayed vaccine schedule, and they are very supportive. I highly recommend this office. My son is no longer at this practice. They are very slow to respond to letter requests and actually lost my original letter. When I received a copy of the medical records, the physician, Dr. Eaton, wrote that I refused vaccination and it was not given, when actually my son did receive his DTap. His arm was red and swollen for a week with a rash and he was told never to get that vaccine again by another physician. This was not documented anywhere in his chart. I called several times and requested to speak to the office manager to fix my son's inaccurate records and never received a call back.This practice is a big practice and impersonal. Great Doctors; Horrific Office Staff I transferred my daughters after four years of dealing with horrible customer service from the office staff. Dr. Eaton was a fantastic pediatrician, and it was difficult to leave her. But the rudeness of the office manager and phone nurse became too much to tolerate. Simple requests were met with refusals and excuses - caring for my children did not seem to be a priority at all! read more

I came down with a sore throat and went to an urgent care where I was diagnosed with Strep type A. I was given a prescription for antibiotics as treatment. My daughter began exhibiting strep throat symptoms two days later. I called Roswell Pediatrics to request a prescription for her. Keep in mind that this has been her physician her entire life. This isn't a case of some unknown person calling a doctors office asking for a prescription over the phone. They refused to issue a prescription without an office visit. So in order to get an antibiotics prescription for what is almost definitively strep throat, I would have to take at least a few hours out of my day to sit in their lobby, expose me and my daughter to other sick individuals, and most importantly (to them) pay the office visit fee. Couldn't they do a phone consult or something to streamline this process and charge some nominal fee? I thanked them for the information, called Teladoc (a doctor by phone service offered through my work) and had a prescription sent to my local pharmacy in under 15 minutes for a third of the price. What's the point of having a primary care physician again? I left two stars instead of one because I've had a very positive experience with Dr. Blackington in the past. read more

This is the best practice we have been to. When you make an appointment at this office you are taken back to an exam room within 10 mins of arriving. And then the doctor comes in the room within a few mins. We like Dr. Blackington. She is friendly, explains everything she is doing and then the best course of action. She is very thorough. My son is 3 years old and has been going to this practice since birth. I have seen several of the docs at the Cumming and Old Milton location. I like the fact that they can see my child's medical record regardless of location or doctor (electronic). They encourage vaccines, but let parents such as myself go on a delayed schedule which is nice. I have had to wait in the past up to 45 minutes, but it's pediatrics-sick babies all the time-they have never turned me away for an appointment, which may lead to increased wait time, but as a parent I don't want to wait overnight to see a doctor or end up in Atlanta at Children's Healthcare in the ER in the middle of the night-I welcome a wait since they always get my child in on the same day. They are a very busy practice-one of the biggest I think, but I think that says something-they must be doing something right. Very bright colorful office and staff always pleasant. Have no plans on changing pediatricians. PS-Dr. Burnham is my favorite, but seems to be many others favorite too-should book well-visits in advance to ensure appointment with him! read more

Dr. Eaton had been treating my child for an ongoing, unexplained illness for months. She was unable to determine a cause, reluctant to refer us out, and refused to provide care to a sick child. Sadly, this is the only PCP's office ever to refuse to see us when we called in with a sick feverish child. The office staff, besides Amanda at the front desk, is horrible. The phone staff who returns calls are rude, uncaring and simply dishonest. I'm both sad and angered by the care we received as we initially thought she was an OK PCP - I suppose that would have been the case had we only needed the typical well or in and out visit. But as soon as we needed a more advanced level of care, we felt like cattle being herded in and out. Though we were in the office weekly, we were always asked 'why are you here', as if we hadn't been there every week for the past 4 months. The intake staff looked at a computer reading off an endlist list of symptoms week after week -- only to find out when I obtained the medical records that they didn't even document these correctly when they asked! Really, its been such a frustrating experience. We're so disappointed with Dr. Eaton's lack of care, her attitude at the end and, frankly, we feel she should have realized months sooner that she needed to refer our child to someone who could provide different care. Of course, we couldn't share any of these thoughts with her directly because our repeated calls asking to speak with her about the care of our daughter, and our concerns about her condition went unanswered by her. :( read more
