While I…read moreunderstand policies around cancellations, it feels harsh that they refuse to see us even if we're just five minutes late--especially when dealing with a sick child. Arriving early doesn't help either, as we're made to wait or even turned away. What's worse is not being told in advance that our child will be seen by a nurse practitioner instead of the doctor. That kind of information should be shared upfront. Overall, the lack of flexibility and empathy makes this a very difficult place for parents. I hope they consider being more understanding toward families in stressful situations.

The doctors and nurses are skilled, knowledgeable, and compassionate. Parking is no issue with a dedicated parking lot right out front. The practice is on the second floor and can be accessed by stairs or elevator. Each treatment room has a colorful mural the size of the wall which is such a great source of entertainment for children. My daughter noticed the wall during her 2 month check-up and we found it quite useful to calm her down after her immunizations. There are two separate waiting rooms which is phenomenal - one for sick children and the other for children doing routine check-ups. This is such a fantastic idea. The waiting rooms are literally on opposite ends of the practice so when you are visiting with your healthy child(ren) you don't have to worry about extra germs. Another thing I love is the helpline. You can call with your medical questions and get answers, tips, and additional information live on the phone. If after speaking through everything you need to come in, they can set that up for you. As a first time mama I was freaking out about my daughter's umbilical cord two weeks after she was born and I was able to call and be put at ease within minutes. I was then texted a resource guide with extra info and things to look out for in case it became an emergency. This is truly invaluable. Super happy we chose Roswell Pediatric Center. We will definitely be staying with this practice for our daughter and any of her siblings yet to come!

We were scared about moving over after months of being with the previous provider but decided to make the switch (after a hefty $$$ fee that we had to pay to get the medical documents over -- which is another reason why we left). We are so glad we did. The check in process is very smooth, wait times are less than 15 minutes, well child waiting rooms are clean + supplied with water/coffee/tea, the interior of the clinic is fresh and bright. Dr. Muller is thorough and to the point. We have only seen her once but felt very comfortable and trusted her care. She was out/booked out so we scheduled our well child check with the physician assistant, Amanda and it was not as smooth (she was friendly but did not introduce herself, when we asked specific questions about things such as his teeth-- she had to go back into his mouth to look again, which was a bit surprising that she had not noticed/been thorough the first time she looked). Dr. Kelly and the physicians are wonderful. The nursing and office staff, however, are poorly trained/lack professionalism and provide very poor care. Without giving too much health information away about my child... we were given crucial newborn health information late/the nurses would not call back on numerous occasions. We were told "not to worry about it" and the nurse on call refused to listen to my child's respiratory sounds (which were croup) even despite me explaining that he had retractions. waiting times are not the greatest and the nurses are not accommodating nor creative in obtaining vitals/labs/etc. The waiting room area looks like it has not been updated since the 80s and I have never seen anyone intentionally cleaning the "sick" waiting area. Being a parent is difficult... the last thing you want to do is worry about the doctor's office staff giving you a hard time.

We have seen Drs.Reisman, Groeffer, Kelly and Berenson who were also skillful ,knowledgeable in their field and has demonstrated good bedside manner. 2. OFFICE - nothing fancy but clean. I'll give it a 3.5 3. OFFICE STAFF - they deserve a NO STAR -they've gone downhill. My recent experience was when i placed a call to make a sick appointment. I asked what's the earliest appt.they have -Destiny asked me whats wrong with my child and I replied she's been running a fever of 104 in the past 2 days and she said WHOA! Thats high! I replied that's why im calling and asking her the earliest appt.,she then told me that they only have Dr. Quarishi (the new doctor) which I had refused to see again bec he doesn't read his patient's chart before seeing them (he mistook my other daughter to be the one he's supposed to check) I felt that she should have asked for my preference and given me all options as my right as patient- She then told me she has Dr. Kelly at 430, so I requested her to book us for that. Later, I realized that I couldve checked the dunwoody location for any openings so i spoke to someone (which i missed to get the name while attending to a sick/cranky child) she asked me how quick we can get to Dunwoody, I said abt1 hr as we are still coming from the Forsyth area, she sarcastically remarked "i dont have any idea where is that" - Duh! They really lack manners and should be informed abt dos and donts in phone conversation. Anyway she booked us with Dr.Sherwinter. I informed her to cancel our initial booking in Alpharetta and she said she will. When we got to the Dunwoody location, the reception told me that we are not on the list - wow they really make it easy for parents with sick children! After I insisted that someone confirmed it with me, they eventually accommodated us otherwise I was prepared to make a scene with all the attitude that I have to endure from their staff. They have never apologized for their mistakes. 4. SICK APPOINMENTS - I'll give it 1 star, i dreaded it everytime i have to call them to make a sick appt cuz they are not therapeutic nor comforting at all. They make you feel that it's your fault that your child got sick. 5. NURSES - Overall, they are okay, the really good ones are gone, ill give them 3.5 stars, lately weve been seeing new nurses. Some appeared to have just got their LPNs as they seemed to be still struggling organizing their tasks.

I'm updating my review because of the "eh" feelings I've gotten from the nurse at this practice…read more I've had three interactions with her since my son's well-visit a week ago. At his visit, she started out friendly enough - he's four so quickly loses interest when it comes to the eye test, and he obviously thinks shots are a form of torture. By the end of the eye test, he was only half participating, and she noted that she thought the test would be better administered at the age of five because, attention span. I had a very pleasant visit with Dr. Holzwarth, and after that, the dreaded shots to be administered by the nurse. My husband is usually the "bad guy" with shots, and after a whole two years without having to have shots, my son's at the perfect age to understand what's coming. Husband was working, so mom got to be the "bad guy." The nurse's bedside manner was just lacking here. First she told me that he was responding to me "feeding into it" (excuse me?), and after sticking him twice for the Tuberculosis test, she gave up on getting a result (so I guess we'll take our chances there?). The shots were horrible (that's normal), but her attitude made it worse. She didn't try to comfort or interact with my son while all of this is going on. She had to call me back later that day to request a retest of the finger prick, and she brought an attitude to that call. Since then, my son's been sick, and I called to see if they wanted to see him prior to his test tomorrow considering his three day spout with a high fever. She again had an attitude, taking a tone like "what is the question here?", so I had to explain that I wanted to know if he should come in today instead of tomorrow, to which she replied "how high is the fever?" and told me she'd call me later today to determine if tomorrow's appointment should be a sick visit (aka copay). For the record, she hasn't called. I'm annoyed. One nurse can ruin the whole experience with a pediatrician, and I'm already on the lookout for a new one. Keep in mind this is a small practice, so the odds of her being my son's nurse are too high for me to be comfortable moving forward. If you have an attitude 100% of the time I interact with you, then you should probably think of a new profession or at the very least, a different environment.
