Tom Oliva was my therapist, and he is truly amazing! The front staff, Shivani and Shantee are professionals at juggling schedules in a caring and kind manner. They will work to get you in while they make you feel like a very special person. Tommy is the most gifted therapist, creating a program that got my shoulder's pain level down, and increased its mobility and strength. He LISTENED after asking how the shoulder was feeling, then created a program that used different exercises, each time keeping the therapy exciting and progressing. There was NEVER a "set routine" that I was told to perform. He uses manual manipulation and massage of the joint at EACH session and as needed to reduce pain throughout the session. He has such a positive attitude, making the sessions fun and innovative. My surgeon, Dr. George White found the results outstanding for range of motion as well as strength and well beyond the expectations he had for the surgery. Most of them are, they are the ones booked up. A plus is you get to change the therapist you work with if you prefer another. This particular site caters to elderly people. If you have a job and you have to commute with the possibility of being 15 minutes late, go to another facility. You will wait in the lobby if you're on time, but their policy has a 10 minute window where most are 15. Even though that is the policy, a second after 8 minutes you will receive a call asking you to move the already awkwardly booked appointment in your busy day. You could be in the parking lot they don't care. If you don't have a full schedule, if you can come and sit in the lobby and catch up, this is the place for you.

I called first thing the morning of 4/16, left a voicemail, then followed up about 90 minutes later. When I finally got someone on the phone, I explained this was an acute injury and that I'd been told it needed prompt evaluation. They offered me appointments more than a week out. That's not just inconvenient, it's a complete miss on triaging something time-sensitive. This wasn't a vague, "my shoulder's been bothering me for a while," issue, it was a fresh break where timing can directly affect how it heals and what treatment options are still on the table. I understand I'm a new patient and schedules get tight, but if you can't accommodate an acute injury, the bare minimum is to say so and direct the patient somewhere that can. That didn't happen. I was treated like I was trying to book a routine consult. If I didn't know to push back and look elsewhere, I could've easily taken that appointment and missed the window for proper treatment. That's not a small thing.

I feel well taken care of as well as feeling heard when I discuss my concerns or my fears, pains, etc. I'll actually be so sad when my time is done. I already had a full diagnosis from Mayo Clinic Jacksonville, but I wanted injections done locally to get through the holiday season without another 4-hour round trip to Mayo. Before they would even schedule me, they required documentation proving I was not scheduled for surgery at Mayo - which I provided. I also took time off work, transferred records, and complied with every request because I was told injections were available and could be done at this appointment. When I arrived, the nurse practitioner informed me she "doesn't believe injections help carpal tunnel," despite the fact that: They were the treatment I was told I could receive They were recommended by Mayo Clinic physicians I had already discussed this plan with multiple staff members ahead of time When I pressed the issue, she escalated to the supervising doctor, who repeated that "in 20 years, injections don't work for this," completely dismissing both my Mayo diagnosis and the treatment I had been promised when making the appointment. I left without treatment after a short argument with an even smaller human who does not like his language to be held against the common definitions of a word. The early conversation with the NP shifted away from the injections I was promised and turned into her "needing electrical imaging, there is a place next door, oddly enough, followed by recommending treatment like physical therapy--also conveniently located in the same strip mall. At that point, it became very clear this place isn't focused on patient care, it's focused on keeping every possible billable service in their own ecosystem. Bring patients in under one expectation, then redirect them into whatever generates the most insurance revenue. To be absolutely clear: I was refused the injections because the provider "didn't agree" with the treatment I'd been prescribed elsewhere, and that their own staff had promised over the phone. This was a wasted appointment, wasted time off work, and completely avoidable if anyone had been honest up front. (But don't expect the Dr. here to admit that.) If you're looking for a practice that respects medical records from world-class providers, honors treatment agreements, and isn't built on keeping everything inside their billing ecosystem, this is not it. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this office to anyone.

She is always smiling, pushing her patients to meet the goal and feel better. I was emotional one day and when she realized it she just hugged me and talked to me in middle of physical therapy. If I ever had to come back to physical therapy this is the place I would want to go and Rocky is the therapist I would want. The patients are very nice also, we have struck up many conversations together, made jokes together in the waiting room waiting to be called then got in back and teased each other about what was said in the waiting room. All around a wonderful place to have to go get your body back to what it should be.

I called CORA Physical Therapy and was greeted by an amazing patient service coordinator, Guisella, who was able to assist my mom and get her an appointment within a day. My mom was thrilled! Guisella guided me through what to do to get my mom in for her session and sent us all the necessary information. I have to thank CORA for the progress my mom has made and the confidence that she is building within herself. The PT staff are patient, kind, and thorough. They have guided my mom in how to do the various exercises in between sessions and have worked with her to show her how to use her cane and more. I highly recommend this facility. The staff are caring, considerate, and support the patients they serve.
