I took my car there because I was having a major front end problem, and they were close to home. I went I expecting the worst, but was very pleasantly surprised. They fixed my vehicle the same day, didn't try to up charge or find any more work to do, and did it all for what I consider to be a reasonable price. He thoroughly explained what I needed and how he was going to do it. When I said, "Can you also check something else?" I had only managed to get out "the car vibrates..." and he finished the sentance with... "at low speeds? Yeah, this should take care of that!" He called while the car was in the shop and said, "You know three of four tires are bald?" "yeah... I noticed that." "I'll get you a quote before the end of the day." Last time I had my tires replaced at a local chain, it cost more than the tires, balancing, and the bumper and front wheel well repairs combined. I agreed and he went to work. When I picked it up, it drove like a dream. "Ebony" has nearly 130K miles on her, but I swear to you she hasn't driven this beautifully since I got her at 600 miles, nearly 15 years ago. Quentin, Shay (next door collaborator), and their teams got my baby looking and feeling great in no time for a VERY reasonable cost. I cannot say it enough; They are WIZARDS. :)

In a car with a 100 mile range that reduces to 60 or so on the highway, I realized it would be a Challenge. I needed a final charge to get me the last 30 miles. I researched my options, and found that Gutwein has a charger. I called and asked if I'd be able to use it, and they said, "Sure!" So I arrived with barely 5 miles left on the "tank" and found the charger blocked by a gasoline-using truck. Ut oh. But wait! Employee to the rescue! When they saw me pull up, one of their staff members immediately hopped up, turned on the charger, and moved the truck. I hung out for about an hour, used their bathroom twice, and they never tried to convince me to change cars or get my tires rotated or any of the other things I was afraid of. So, there are some good people there. If you're wanting to buy a car, check them out, if only because kind humans who do things out of that kindness, rather than from an ulterior motive, are few and far between.
