After my initial experience, I was contacted by the owner at Roto-Rooter who took the situation seriously and worked to resolve it. They came back out, reassessed the issue, and were transparent about the condition of my sewer line. Based on what was found, they recommended a full replacement rather than continuing temporary fixes. What I appreciate is that they acknowledged the earlier issues and made an effort to correct them. The owner honored the original pricing and waived additional charges that could have been added, which made a difference. This situation was stressful, but I do think the follow-up and resolution were handled more professionally than the initial visit. If anything, I'd say make sure you ask questions and get clear answers up front, but I can acknowledge that they stepped in and worked to make it right in the end. I called them twice. No weekend services, never mind the 24/7 claim on the ad. They couldn't come for 2 days when we had shit backing up everywhere, toilets, shower, tubs. Wife was just out of surgery two days before. The tough guy on the phone had no interest in helping! I had no interest in hiring him! I won't call these people again! read more

Came and did the job, fast service and reliable. Unclogged all the pipes and let us know what the problem was.

Simply needed a septic pumped out, but after spending almost $800 for this service we saw no difference in the backing up of our bathroom fixtures. Very displeased with the quality of work or lack of work. read more

On November 20th Roto Rooter started working on our plumbing and took a payment for digging the hole even though the job wasn't completed On September 23, 2019 Roto Rooter ran a camera to see what the problem was with the main sewer line and i was told if they ran the camera now I would not get charged later for it( total amount payed of $550).On November 20, 2019 Roto Rooter started working on our plumbing and took a payment On November 21, 2019 for running a camera and time on job for the amount of $1,200 even though the job wasn't completed. then we were left with a hole in our yard, plumbing still not working properly, no pipes were replaced and they weren't responding to any calls or messages & never finished the job without any explanation of what was going on. I had to contract Dixie Electric, Plumbing & Air December 20, 2019 to unstop the pipe and fill the hole that roto rooter should have completed. read more

Need an assist to get my lines unclogged. They came out, correctly assessed my problem as iced up lines. Did not have the right equipment to address the problem. The senior tech said "Eric is going to spend an hour trying to snake it out - Eric will work hard to get it fixed" - this whil I went to the store to get anti-freeze. When I got back 20 minutes later, Eric was packing up his truck - "My snake was kinking up"...$415...no fix. What shitty service!!!!!!! From August 30th applies to the Montgomery Alabama roto rooter location only. I called them on Sunday for a leak flooding my master bath and was told no after hours plumber for supply lines. The lady assured me someone would be out Monday to handle the problem. I called Monday to check the status and was told no plumber was coming today because they had only one plumber. Roto rooter has one plumber! I was told it would be Wednesday or Thursday before I would get service. No empathy that I was mopping every 15 minutes or that I was promised service on Monday. Worse customer service I have dealt with in many years. They did finally send a worker named John out on Monday. He cut a hole in the wall to try and locate the leak. once he gained access he stated the leak was under the slab and would cost at least 2 thousand dollars to repair. He told me to call a leak detection company and have them locate the leak then he would get back with me. I called the detection company and paid $425 to have the leak detected. Then I attempted to contact John at least 6 times so he could give me a more accurate price. Well after a month of turning the water on and off, filling my tub with water to flush the to while the water was off John never returned my calls, causing me to find another plumber which turned out to be great for me. the new plumber capped the leaking line and re routed the water line above the slab for less than $300. so either they are clueless at doing plumbing work or taking advantage of customers by doing expensive unnecessary work. So unethical or just plain uneducated on plumbing work, both are terrible. they give the whole brand a terrible name and should not be in business. take my advice and stay away from roto rooter in Montgomery Alabama. read more

Made a reservation on Monday evening and received confirmation for an appointment the next day. Waited for four hours two days in a row and the tech never showed. He called at 9:30 pm and then failed to show the next day. Unsat!! read more
