    Called Larson Mechanical to get service on a refrigerator at my home, after getting a referral from…read morea local appliance parts business. A man answered gruffly, "...what?!!" I asked if I had contacted Larson Mechanical and the man, said "who wants to know?! what do you want my mother's maiden name too??!!" He went on hotly and unable to be consoled. Surprisingly, it was the owner, Brian Larson. His aggressive treatment continued for several more minutes as I continued to try and recover with him because I needed the repair. I finally got to the point of making an appointment but when I asked when they might be able to come over and whom to expect, HE TOOK MY HEAD OFF. "Doesn't matter...why do you want to know?? Maybe me, maybe my nephew, or maybe my mother!!", he said. "What difference does it make?!!!" I said, "I just thought it might be good to know so I can be on the lookout for your tech." Nevermind. Too hard to work with. Way to unstable. Way too angry and aggressive. Who treats prospective new customers that way? (and ones you get by referral!) Are you trying to destroy your business? I get you've been in business for 24 years, (as you angrily asserted on the phone), maybe its time to retire and go fishing if your business makes you this angry toward your customer, or your fellow man. Go do something that makes you happy. Apparently this work is no longer good for you. Unbelievable! EDIT: The next day after posting this review to protect others from this man, he called me back and begged me to remove my review. (Maybe that's how he fabricates his good reviews). He promised to fix my refrigerator that same day at no charge if I would let him. Believing in humanity, I cautiously agreed and he came over. He arrived and talked incessantly, making many promises about what he could do. The refrigerator needed to be uninstalled to do the work so he said he would return another day to remove it and do the service, all at no cost. I did not ask for anything free, but he was insistent. OK. By the time he left, he had re-manipulated his earlier offer to now include me removing the unit, but he would still fix it for free. So I took him at his word, forgave him and removed the review as I readily told him I would do. After paying another contractor several hundred dollars to remove the unit and deliver it to his shop, Brian welched on his promise to service it. I offered to pay, but in spite of our previous agreement Brian reneged on his word. I called several times and texted repeatedly to find out what was happening, even sending a copy of his earlier text "promise to take care of it for $0", as a reminder of his promise. No response. What a waste of time, money and faith. After all this time, effort and expense, I still have a broken fridge and will have to start over with someone else. Why did you just follow through with your repeated and insistent promise, Brian? Why didn't you just return the call and explain yourself like a man? It could have been so much easier. Now I am over a barrel having spent all the money on removal and delivery to your shop, and still have no fix. In talking to others in the business, this is apparently not the first time he has treated people so disrespectfully. What a hot head. Stay away. Something is not all it seems here and it apparently includes the reviews. Can not believe anyone would treat a customer this way, but to cheat a retired senior citizen who is not only in need and depending upon your promises, but willing to forgive and trust you, then leave them blindly in the lurch, is a new level of low. Brian Larson showed me he is not only angry and unprofessional, but a weasel who will apparently say or do anything, then lie and turn his back on you.
