Stopped by here to try a pizza. Didn't know what to get and I got an excellent pizza. The angry pig, spicy bbq sauce, mozzarella, crumbled Italian sausage, bacon, jalapeños, cheddar cheese. I will say that this was A very good and delicious pizza. The have a full bar also which is a plus. Nice atmosphere. This is our new favorite pizza place! I don't think I've had such a flavor filled pizza before! The music and environment was fun to be in. Check the Louisiana roots on this place. Served me a shrimp po boy when in ordered a muffuletta and dude tried to tell me it was correct. Ummmmm no. Ordered several rounds of beers and let's just say you ain't getting a buzz here. Check came and it was $130. Ummmm no. Guy stated it was a mistake. Other than a cheap ass Saints banner on a thumb tack on the wall - there is zero about this place that is Louisiana from the service to how the handle multiple screw ups. Every 5 star review HAS to be from a corporate employee. No water brought to table. We waited 30 minutes, I didn't get my beer. Our waitress didn't have a clue and had to go to the manager Angela to ask questions. Had not turned our order in after 30 minutes. They offer items on the menu they don't have in stock. As we walked out, I told Angela, you need to close for 3 weeks and retrain everyone. What a disaster. read more

This place is AWESOME! The owner Chad was so friendly and provided us so much info about the place. Courtney at the bad was so great! I can't say enough about Rotolo's. They not only have so many options for pizza - vegan, vegetarian, dairy free - they also have pasta, appetizers (I recommend the spinach artichoke dip), and a great selection of craft beer and wine. You would have to go all the way to the Woodlands to find any place to be in their vicinity of excellence but it's so convenient at its current location. Happy hour and dog friendly patio is on its way. Must try it here. Very happy with coming here for dinner! read more

My husband and I visited on a Friday evening, March 3, 2023 about 7:00 pm. I ordered a specialty draft beer and my hubby ordered diet coke. We each ordered something different to get a true flavor of their italian dishes. I ordered a meatball sandwich which was served lukewarm and had very few meatballs and cheese. It was heavy on the french bread with very little sauce. My italian husband ordered a medium pepperoni & canadian bacon pizza with thicker crust. Neither dish embodied an italian flavor and felt was mediocre at best. The service was quick when we entered the front door, and drink orders were taken. The speed at which our food was delivered from the kitchen was questionably slow. From our table, we could see two hostesses chatting away as if there were no customers to be served and customer service was not expedient! The ambiance in the restaurant is typical of a pizza joint with noisy kiddos and adults screaming to visit over the chaos. Unfortunately, we will not return to this establishment. read more

First time customer. Found the pizza and salad to be extremely overpriced for the quantity and quality. Salad was a $12 flop considering it's a $3 bag of baby spinach with a pinch of feta cheese, cranberry, and walnuts... oh yeah no dressing! For $12! My son and I had high expectations of this place from what we've heard from friends who have gone there since their grand opening just a couple of weeks ago. We live close by and have seen it built from ground up while driving by. Below is my review: The good: Classy and modern interior design. Family friendly atmosphere. Hot skillet table service of loaded fries was fantastic and pleasantly unexpected must say. The bad: I ordered unsweet tea but was served sweet tea initially... Our thin crust pizza was completely burned and tasted like something similar to crisp crackers and overcooked cheese with a glue like consistency... In addition, this place is very sause heavy on their pizzas... This is not only advertised as one of their signature items, but also brought up by our waiter several times while being seated, prior to ordering and even while placing our food order. Unfortunately, the sause was waaaay too sweet for my taste... Most cocktails cost $12.00. Really? If you are not planning on consuming alcohol; softdrinks cost $3.15... Also note that if you are planning on staying for more than one hour, bring a cushion or pillow to sit on! All chairs and bench seats are non-padded and stone hard to sit on. read more

My husband has been wanting to try this little pizza place for some time. Decided on an early dinner and to give them a try. Nice, clean, with simple decor. Upon walking in, we were immediately greeted and shown to our table. Very pleasant customer service and our waitress was attentive. It was approximately 4 pm on a Friday, and it wasn't busy. The menu has an odd variety of "starters" for a pizza place, but we opted for the spinach and artichoke dip and flat bread. The flat bread was undercooked, in our opinion, for dipping. The flavor was there, but the dip was lacking flavor. We ordered the deep dish style and glad we requested it crispy, or it too would have been too soft and undercooked. The deep dish is more of a thin crusted pizza just with crust all the way up the sides. I did enjoy the flavor with the first slice but it just didn't settle with the second. I think this is perfect for a one slice and done style pizza place. Which, by the way, the do offer a single slice, just can't remember which ones. read more

I've eaten here several times over the past few months. My favorite is the Krewe. They also have a huge selection of craft beer, which my husband loves. This place has obviously heard the old adage "hunger is the best spice" because the pizza takes over an hour. Service is nearly non-existent. Had to ask for a refill after our server disappeared for 34 minutes. Ordered a second beer, but never received it. Spent 60 before tip just to twiddle my thumbs for nearly two hours. I love this place, and I cannot lie. I've had their thin crust pizzas as well as their regular specialty pizzas, all very good. But my favorite by far is their Chicago deep dish pizza. My dad grew up in Chicago, and we went to his hometown regularly, so I know what good Chicago deep dish pizza is like. It's been a struggle to find good deep dish pizza in Houston. There's a good place in Galveston. But when a place opened only a few minutes from my home that makes great deep dish pizza, I couldn't be happier! The staff are great and they have a good bar. My only suggestion would be you have a nice beer tap system, why waste ANY taps on Bud Light and other macro-brew urine? I know, good business and the local market. I'm a beer snob, and a pizza snob. We have now been to Rotolo's x3 times since they have opened. The first time we had a sub par service experience- long wait for a server to come to our table (despite it not being crowded) because he advised he had a big party over in the bar area. Drinks took forever to come, served red wine when I had ordered chardonnay, food was delivered without plates, utensils and napkins. Long periods in between server visits. Server was very nice just seemed overwhelmed. Husband and son loved the pizza! Figured they just opened and maybe server just needed some additional training/experience. The second visit was dining in. Service was good, pizza was very good. Tonight we placed an order for pick up. Their OG pizza (which is pepperoni) has pulled mozzarella on it; our 10 yr old son prefers just regular old shredded mozzarella. So when ordering we made sure to specify shredded mozzarella (which they also have) versus pulled mozzarella. This request seems to short circuit the staff as we learned from the first time we dined in. My husband went to pick up the pizza tonight and sure enough it was the pulled mozzarella on the pizza not the shredded we specifically requested. My husband had to wait while new pizzas were being made. Staff apologized and seemed bewildered but there was no offer to make up for it. This restaurant has so much potential as the food is good so we are hoping they can iron out these kinks. Also hoping their customer service gets better. read more

Really poor customer service, we order two pizzas to go, one of them margherita (two ingredients: mozzarella and fresh basil), we picked them up and oh surprise!, no basil (50% of your pizza).... Mmm probably a mistake, I called them first thing they told me "basil it's in the sauce"..... what?, he calls his manager, and the manager says " oh, yes we ran out of basil, just as your order came in" wtf???? Don't you have my contact information? You charged me a full price for half of my pizza (btw they are not cheap), instead of trying to fix it just "sorry we gave you half of your pizza for a full price", not sure but I think that is stealing, instead to offer to fix the issue just left as it is, awesome customer service..... sooner or later is going to bite you back to be successful just being greedy with out taking customers satisfaction, use to be our place to go.... Very disappointed. Went there for lunch. Wife and I each ordered different burgers. Both were of no value. The beef was horrible. Looked like a frozen puck that had been boiled. The bun was store bought and not nice. The fries were undercooked. To top it off the prices were very high. A better burger can be had for 1/2 the price within a mile of there. The waitstaff seemed disinterested in our disgust of the food. Friends reported the same level of experience. Super unhappy. Don't go there. read more

Servers are very friendly but they screw up a lot. They either forget your order or claim the system didn't take it when they punched it in or they blame the kitchen. Either way, they have a looooooong way to go to even measure up to something like Chic Fil A. I'd recommend many other places and let Rotolos work out the kinks for the next 12 months. read more
