This is the second time he had to re-schedule. The first conversation was difficult because he kept asking me to describe technical things that I had no clue about. I described in great detail what happened and what I believed the problem was. Then he made the appointment to do the job but refused to provide an estimate. I have never worked with any professional who is so careless about the way he treats customers. He hung up as if my business meant absolutely nothing. I wouldn't trust him to do anything. I told him why I needed to rearrange the electrical system in my house. The purpose for the indoor work was to hook-up a power generator and getting it up and running outside. He didn't tell me in advance what accessories I'd need to buy. I was charged for his time waiting for me to get the items. It was very frustrating because the stores didn't have what I needed and I had to drive all over town searching for it. I would not recommend doing business with them without first getting a written statement for all the work they plan to do and all of their charges in advance. Also, one of their workers spilled gasoline all over and I had to pay twice to fill my generator. He charged me almost $2,000 when his estimate was for only $1,000. He acted like hooking up a generator is not his job as an electrician, yet a handyman would not have known what to do because this required specialized knowledge, something only a licensed electrician would be qualified to know and do the job correctly and safely.

It finally turned into an iceberg in mid-November during the cold snap (reversing valve sensor inop). It took a couple visits to diagnose, acquire parts, and fix all the issues, and Doug's team kept us updated on progress throughout. However, the best part was when James asked if the unit was still under warranty. We checked and it was, with only two weeks remaining on the covered period! So all the parts were covered and the work was completed before the deadline. Considering how much time they spent I was very pleased with the final bill.
