The owner did our manicures acted like she was cutting my cuticles they were literally hanging and stuck in the nail Polish. She seemed annoyed every time I asked her to fully cut the cuticle and repaint it. The nail Polish is already chipping and it hasn't been a full 24 hours. I don't recommend this place.

Unfortunately, my recent experience has left me deeply disappointed and I will not be returning. I arrived about 8 minutes late due to traffic, but I was promptly seated and the technician began removing the gel from my nails. A few minutes into my service, the owner--who had originally seated me--asked me to get up so another woman (who had come in after me) could take my seat. When I asked why, I was told it was "because of the vent." However, the new customer was getting the exact same gel manicure I was receiving, so the excuse made little sense. To add insult to injury, I was told to move to a station cluttered with junk and visibly less prepared. The entire situation felt dismissive, disrespectful, and quite frankly, racially charged. I'm usually the only Black woman in the salon, and the favoritism shown to another customer--who arrived later--was hard to ignore. While I would never return to Sun Nails after this experience, I'm grateful it led me to BLANC Nail Boutique, a new spot with immaculate service, a welcoming atmosphere, and top-tier professionalism.
