SHADY AND DISHONEST SALON!!!! As soon as my nails were on and filed, tech says it's going to be extra because of the length. What? Yes extra $15 for long nails. Went to get a waxing that I booked online. I ordered 3 areas but was charged for 4. Also the waxing was terrible. I left with wax all over my upper lip, my hair line and on my eyelids. The salon also reeked of chemicals and there was no ventilation. Also there is a sign that states they will charge you a fee even if you use a debit card which I found to be ridiculous. The wax girl was sneezing the entire time during my treatment and I really felt disgusting after I left and wanted to leave as soon as possible. I would give 10 stars if I could. This is the best nail salon I've ever been to. I've been tons of places they do great quality work, it's clean, everyone is friendly, and the prices are extremely reasonable. Jimmy is the best. He's fast and does a great job. He always does the photo I show him perfectly and they never break or chip I go 3-4 weeks no problem. I work with my hands and play volleyball and they always stay Natalie gives the best pedicure too! I've also had Stella and Karen and they are also very good. I'm giving 5 for a few reasons. They took me as a walk in twice for hard gel fill in. Both times my requests were accommodated. My results were very nice. 1st Visit Stella not only cleaned up problems with my previous manicure, she did a really nice job and even recommended the color I chose. She was personable and made my nails look natural-not thick-and a narrow nail. She continually asked for my feedback. 2nd visit today was with Lucy. Stella was not there. Lucy did a really fast manicure, and shaped them perfectly, along with accommodating my request to make them very narrow and natural looking. They are beautiful. I am reviewing because I saw some poor reviews and they seemed unfair. Both ladies did a nice job and were conscientious about the details and doing what I wished. Plus both times I just walked in. What more could you ask?! read more

Only giving 2 stars because the nail tech Danny dresses nice. Salon AWAYS reuse the same drill bits and files on every customer for weeks which is disgusting. The owner is rude whenever walking into appointment, but at least her husband is decent at shaping nails!? I've been unsatisfied with my visits the last 3 times and I will not be returning. Save your $$$ and go to blooming nails or a private tech! read more

It's unfortunate that I have to write this review because I was really liking this place. I've been to LJ three times. Two out of the three I had a great nail tech who paid attention to detail, shaped the nails nicely, and was consistent in her work. I don't know her name. This week Stella did my nails. Now, overall the final product looks great. But the experience is where this salon lacks. Stella commented on my long nails asking for sure if I didn't have acrylics. She went on to ask how much I normally pay, because I guess she didn't believe my nails were real? She was very rough the entire time handling my nails. She also kept getting distracted with the customer and nail tech next to us. She would stop and I guess try to help the nail tech, but it took away from her attention to my nails. I feel she used the drill too much to remove the prior gel and also shape my nails. My nails feel extremely thin now and like they could easily break. She also did not shape them as nicely as the previous nail tech did. I can see differences between the nail shapes and some are more bumpy than others. She also didn't paint the nails evenly. The paint doesn't cover the entire nail and also looks sloppy near the cuticles. From a distance they look fine, but when you do gel you keep the nails for a few weeks usually. And I know this will bother me even more as they continue to grow out. At the end of my manicure, she asked me to wash my hands, so I did. I returned to the seat and she wasn't there. Normally at this point, a salon would lotion your hands and massage them, massage your shoulders and put the finishing touches on. After a minute or so, I realize that she was finished with me and already started a pedicure for another customer. I hesitated to write this review because the owner seems like a genuinely nice person and I feel that most of the nail techs are talented in what they do. However, as a paying customer I feel like we all should be given the attention and time we deserve, regardless if we are spending $100 on eccentric nails or $30 on a gel mani. I plan to take my business elsewhere in the future. read more

It might be a little be more expensive than other nail salons but they are worth every dollar. Always clean, never had any issues with chips, infections or polish. You won't regret it read more

I come in with a plan, I show him the picture, and he gives me the most beautiful set every time. Some people always expect so much from a nail salon, but truly this place has it all. If I could give negative stars I would. I have been coming here for years and have never had such an awful experience. Jimmy did my nails and they are all crooked and shaped horribly. He asked how long I wanted my nails and proceeded to cut them WAY shorter than I had asked for. He was also extremely rude to me which I have never experienced before. If i am paying you to do my nails I at least expect kindness. Speaking of paying... I WAS RIPPED OFF. 50 dollars for nails that I have gotten hundreds of times and they have never cost me that much. I have reached out to the owner and she has yet to respond to me. It has been a week. Not to mention he has also thinned my nails out so much that one has already broken and it's been exactly a week. He was also tugging at my arm aggressively throughout the entire appointment when I was already as close as i could possibly be. He then proceeded to have the nerve to ask me if I was leaving a tip or not. Clearly, I said NO. He then dismissed me out of the salon so quickly and rudely. I always go to Lianna and this place was a hidden gem. I am a VERY picky person because I typically get clear/nude nails and they are tricky. I need them to be natural and feel natural. She is FAST and never made me wait to get an appointment. She stays on schedule which is important to me, my time is money. Now, my daughter and all her friends are going there to get really detailed nails... She does it all. Not sure about the other review but, again - I am never disappointed. I would never ever go back. the woman i went to does not know how to do nails i don't know who approved her licensing but it should be revoked. I don't even know her name but she has black hair and tattooed brows. i told her to keep the shape and length of my natural nails, she made them shorter and changed the shape. I asked her for dip powder, she put powder on top of gel. Not only that, she put 6 layers on. SIX. When I asked her to fix it because they felt like bumpy sandpaper, she tried but they still looked awful. My pedicure was good, but afterwards I asked her to fix my nails once again and they ended up looking just as bad. AND she cut my skin like 3 times and blamed me saying I was just too sensitive. If that wasn't bad already, she charged me $100. i only came here because my regular nail salon was closed. like I said I would never go back. read more

I used to go to them all the time and I just went back yesterday for the first time in years, and to say I'm dissatisfied is a major understatement. I went there yesterday for a acrylic fill-in and paid $37 for that, and was left with a crooked nail and bumps along my fingernail beds. Then when I complained about it, I was told to come back to have them fixed and I did the following day. I had my nails done by my preferred tech and my crooked nail was still not fixed and I was charged $36 for a design. I won't be coming back. read more

If they were to be put in an ultra sonic cleaner or autoclave you would have the tools wrapped in the packaging similar to what you would find in a dentists office. These tools were taking right from the drawer and the top of the desk and then placed right back in the drawer and you could clearly see the files have been used many times nobody gets their own buffers etc because you would be offering customers to take them home or people would clearly see you throw them out after each use not be placed back in the drawer for when the next customer sits in the chair. I also did contact you through your website to which I am still waiting on a response. You do take temps and have people wash their hands which is great but doesn't make up for the fact that you're using dirty nippers and files that have been used on other people especially considering he ripped my nail off and cut me making me bleed to which he filed and used the tools on my bloody finger ---- unsanitary.
