This was one of the worst salon experiences I have ever had. Before my appointment even began, I clearly communicated that I wanted bangs and showed a reference photo. I specifically said that I know bangs are tricky and that if the stylist was not comfortable, I did not want her to do them. She assured me she could. She could not. She cut my bangs far too thick and far too wide--essentially from ear to ear--and then, in what felt like a panic, over-thinned them trying to fix it. The result is uneven, stringy, misaligned sections with different lengths, and hair that now starts much farther back on my head than it ever should. This is not a minor mistake--it fundamentally altered the structure of my haircut in a way that cannot be quickly corrected. To make matters worse, she was late to my appointment, and there was no acknowledgment or remedy offered for that. The lack of professionalism continued when I raised concerns. I was told, "it's not a big deal, it will grow," which is incredibly dismissive considering I have multiple family events and travel coming up, including a professional photoshoot. When I spoke to the owner, the response was, "what do you want me to do about it?" There was no accountability, no attempt to meaningfully fix the situation, and no care for how this impacts me beyond the salon chair. While I was not charged for the haircut itself, I still paid $80 for color--and that is the least of what this has cost me. This experience has cost me confidence, comfort, and peace of mind during important family moments that I cannot redo. This was never about saving $20 on a haircut. I paid far more than that in the aftermath of this experience. Mistakes can happen. But poor skill combined with dismissiveness, lack of accountability, and unprofessional handling is unacceptable. I would not recommend this salon to anyone, especially for precision services like bangs. read more

This place sucks. My wife is undergoing cancer treatment and her health appointments can change quickly. Recently she had to cancel her appointment due to a changed physician appointment, and these folks tried to charge a $25 cancellation fee. She is undergoing cancer treatment folks......ever heard of the Americans With Disabilities Act and this new concept called reasonable accommodation? Would not advise this place to my worst enemies. read more

Called ahead on a Sunday to see if I could get in for an acrylic fill with shellac. Made an appointment and went in for the fill. Welp, $45 later and this is what I'm left with. I got it done on Sunday, this picture was taken on Tuesday two days later. Two nails are already chipping on the corner, color isn't even and appears lumpy on most of the nails, is even translucent in some spots. One of the nails has a hair painted on. I got them redone at a different salon on Thursday. I won't be back. Yikes. read more

She didn't seem to have any idea what I wanted, so I asked for a book and showed her a picture. She did not cut to the picture, but seemed to completely forget about it. When I tried to explain more clearly what I wanted, she stated I was confusing her and acted stressed out. I mentioned that we needed to communicate so she would understand what it was I wanted. I just left Rouge Salon and I am beyond thrilled with my subtle blonde hilights ! Holly did an amazing job and it looks so natural. It was exactly what I wanted. She was such a doll! The price was reasonable and it didn't take too long. I am so happy with my hair. I absolutely recommend her ! I called and got an appointment for less than 24 hours of my call. The receptionist was so helpful and nice too. I will definitely go back. I just got my hair done again yesterday at Rouge Salon. I really need to start with saying that their front desk girls are so incredibly sweet, professional, and helpful. They got back with me right away again and I really appreciate that. I thoroughly enjoyed my biannual pedicure today. I had made an appointment and I was shown right into my waiting massage chair. Michele was friendly, professional, and worked on my feet diligently for a solid hour. I'm a country boy at heart and go barefoot most of the time at home. So, she had her work cut out for her... I had the absolute BEST time at this hair salon, my hair dresser was Jesse James Martin, the energy he had cutting me and my daughters hair was FABULOUS, I had the best time while he cut my hair, he kept the conversation going very well with a couple jokes here and there, I 100% recommend going here. Summary: I got a pedicure, and I will be back. The classic pedicure is $28 which is a good price. Pros: Greeted right away. Taken to a chair in less than 10 minutes on a Friday evening. Technician listened to my preference (the massage is my favorite part) and spent a good amount of time and pressure rubbing my legs and feet. The variety of polish colors is great. I got this wonderfully silly green color and I love it. Cons: The water in the basin was never warm enough. They were filing 3 at the same time, so maybe that's why. I like a really warm foot bath though. I spent $10 more and got the charcoal scrub detox, but didn't really feel like it was worth it. Decided to try a new place locally for a pedicure. Walk-in early morning. Took me right in. Very nice and accommodating. Salon was busy yet still relaxed. It's also a hair salon. A Gentleman did my pedicure. He didn't say much but I prefer to do my own thing and not tell my life story while getting my toes done. Pedicure- very thorough. Took his time. Cuticles, filing, calluses, etc. Nice salt scrub and the lotion massage. Cooling gel. Hot towel. Got a French manicure and it was perfect. Very nice salon and staff. Not so much. Stylist took too long for both my daughter's highlights and my all over color. Took so long (over an hour) and she burned my scalp. Owner (male) backed her up and made me pay for 75% of her damage to my hair. Fun stuff! He gave me a 25% discount of my damaged scalp and the stylist's unprofessionalism. Top notch place...not. Aiko is an amazing hair stylist. I went yesterday to have my hair highlighted and cut, she did exactly what I was hoping for, in fact, better than I thought possible. I moved here over 2 years ago from Denver, Colorado and have been searching for someone that is both excellent at cut and color. Finally I have found Aiko; I didn't have to go into a long lengthy explanation of what I wanted, she seemed to know instinctively what that was. She highlighted my hair so it looks natural, cut it so it is a fun pixie and a beautiful neckline. I can't thank her enough for making me feel beautiful again. I came here with a group of friends to get pedicures last Saturday. We made an appointment... even though it was last minute (that morning) they were able to get us in! Once we got there, we weren't able to all go at the exact time, but overall we were able to be staggered closely together and finish somewhat around the same time. I didn't mind, since we made last minute appointments and their customer service was great! They also were able to sit us by each other. I loved my pedicure and they did a great job on all of us. I got the spa pedicure with the sugar scrub and loved it. Their chairs are also super comfortable! A lot of the times I don't turn on the massage part of the chair because it always feels weird and jiggles me too much haha, I'm not sure if it is because I'm short and my back hits it weird or what haha. However, this massage chair felt great! The only thing I wish they did more of was the foot/leg massage! That is the best part of getting a pedicure and I felt it was way too short. Next time I'll be sure to ask for it to be longer and I don't mind paying more. The price for a spa pedicure is really reasonable. read more

We recently moved to this area, so I had to find a new nail salon. After being disappointed with a few other salons, I decided to walk into this one. I didn't schedule an appointment, just walked in. They were perfectly fine with that and the entire staff acted so nice to me! Yem (pronounced Em) is the best, most professional nail technician. The basic pedicure includes hot towels and bath salts. Yem knows how to massage! I consider myself a regular now. The owner and his wife go out of their way to remember your name and ask you how your day is going. The entire staff is fun, friendly, upbeat, yet professional. Not only do I look forward to being pampered but I also look forward to hanging out with the staff. Haha! Also, they go out of their way to accommodate you. For example, I needed to come in at 8:30am on a Saturday even though they open at 9am and Yem said no problem, she would come in earlier. I would say that my pedicure and manicure were very well done. What I wasn't so impressed by was the massage that went with mine. It was basically rub in the lotion and done. The other parts of the service were good once I got my technician to loosen up a bit and talk. :-) My friend spent $50 on her pedicure and the lacquer came off in sheets without her peeling them off. She called and made an appt for the next day. Went in the next day for her appt, and it did was not put in the books. Though, all of her information was in the computer...? So, mistakes happen. They made an appt for the next day. My wife went back for the appt. Waited a half hour, and asked where the stylist was. The person at the counter told her 5 minutes. 20 minutes later, my wife went up to the counter and said she was leaving.
