I unfortunately did not get the opportunity to experience the staff's services because the reception office staff experience was completely unprofessional. I called to inquire about an evaluation for my child. The lady with what sounded like an English accent asks if my insurance was with an employer. It was not. Then she asks "is it Marketplace"? Not knowing what marketplace was, I said yes. Then she curtly said that this insurance was not accepted. After the call, I logged into my insurance (which was purchased directly from UnitedHealthcare) and, sure enough, they WERE in network, as I had UHC Choice, and not Marketplace, I call back telling her this information and was referred to the manager, and he was repeating the same information. I told him I misspoke and clarified that I did not have Marketplace insurance and that I purchased the insurance directly from the UHC website, which he claimed this wasn't a thing (YES, this is a thing, because I did it. ). They didn't bother to fully check to see if the office was in network (didn't actually ask for my Member ID information or other details) which is what dozens of offices have done as standard protocol. Eventually the man did say that we can take my insurance, but wouldn't be able to accept my husband's Aetna insurance in 2026 - but that I could still schedule something under my current insurance. ABSOLUTELY NOT! The conversation with reception left a bad taste in my mouth and I have scheduled evaluation services elsewhere. I would recommend in-house office training on how not to escalate insurance issues and on common customer service skills. And if insurance companies are listing your office as in-network when it's not, you need to figure out how to fix that on your end. read more

We've been attending speech therapy here for a little over six months. My son has autism and is minimally verbal. We see Danya and Alex and they are both super wonderful! Danya is incredible she is knowledgeable. She was able to connect us with a hearing specialist for a test I didn't even know existed to ensure our little guy did not have any hearing loss.We have seen so much progress with our weekly sessions. The office staff is delightful and are great answering questions over email. They are super fast with any questions I may have over billing or whatever. read more

Five Stars is not enough. My son, now 6, had been attending a different speech & occupational therapy center in Pflugerville for about a year when he was 2. The therapists were nice & made some progress, but they couldn't even remember my son's name half the time. There were a multitude of problems, but the nail in the coffin was when we showed up for a therapy session, after a year of therapy, twice a week & were told we owed close to $1000 because of their billing error. If we did not pay right then, we would no longer be able to come for therapy. My son was, at that time, non-verbal, and had other issues related to autism, which he had just been diagnosed with. He desperately needed therapy, and we felt like we weren't at all valued, and that he was just another patient, just another check. I found RRCTC kind of by accident, and it is one of the best "accidents" to ever happen to us. My son has seen every therapist there at one time or another & he loves them all. They are some of the most caring, wonderful people we've ever met. The owner, Melissa, is...beyond amazing. Not only does she work with my son (and he ADORES her), but she takes the time to listen if you need it. I've never felt like my son was "just a patient" or that we were a paycheck, like the other place made me feel. The therapists have made such a huge difference in my son's life, and we feel loved and cared for...not many places do that these days. While I hope that at some point, my son will no longer require therapy, for as long as he does, we will stay with Melissa & RRCTC. read more

RRCTC has been our saving grace. When my son Greyson started speech therapy, he was 2 and only really said dada. He is now 4 and his language skills are amazing. You can completely understand him and you would never know he had a speech delay. Melissa is truly an amazing person and I couldn't be happier with our decision to use them for our therapy needs. read more

My son received occupational and speech therapy for over a year and I am happy with the progress he has made thanks to RRCT. My son adores his therapist Ms.D she is wonderful and caring towards him. I can tell that she really loves working with children. Melissa, the owner has always been welcoming and attentive and whenever any issues occurred with insurance she did her due diligence to resolve it. We had been taking our 27 month old daughter here for speech therapy. They had not gotten her to speak at all after four sessions except for saying "bonk" once (and she did talk at home, just limited to 7 words at that point). She just wasn't warming up to them that much, but, in fairness, part of the problem was probably that she had seen a few different therapists here. They all seem good, so I don't feel that the level of care is low quality. The kick in the teeth for me was when I realized that they were over billing us almost double what they had said it would cost. Prior to coming, we had verified with them what the contracted rate with BCBS would be. Well, after 3 or 4 sessions, I looked at my health care account (where our 20% copays are directly deducted) and realized that they were charging us almost twice what I was told that we would be charged. They were billing 2 codes each for our 30 & 45 minute sessions (we started at 30 and moved to 45, but they were all billed the same). Their contracted rates for the two codes that they billed for were $68.24 and $65.12 respectively. So, they were getting over $133. for each session and we were paying $26. of that per session. When I pointed out the over charges, I received an email from Melissa (the owner) stating in therapist lingo (tongue tip elevation, etc) what the codes were for, that they were accurate and that she had to bill both based on our therapists notes as to what we worked on in the session. I asked if we could only work on one codes worth of therapy per session (being as my kid had uttered one single word in over $500 of sessions at this point and, not to mention, they had given me the contracted rate of $68.24 & now it had almost doubled without my knowledge). She agreed. The next session, our therapist let us know that Melissa said that we would still continue therapy the same, but Melissa would only bill us for one code, as they couldn't work on the one part without the other...ya. Didn't seem kosher, so we transfered out. Our new therapist let us know that the one code (the extra code not previously discussed that we were being billed for) was for eating issues. My daughter had zero eating issues. Our therapist at Round Rock Children's Therapy would take my daughter to the kitchen and give her snacks at the beginning of therapy, but this was because it was the only way to get her to go with the therapist without me with her(which they prefer), due to her seperation anxiety. So by giving her snacks, they justified this extra code... apparently this was completely fraudulent. They're lucky that I haven't reported them to BCBS. I really liked Melissa initially too. Buyer beware and keep an eye on your insurance payouts. Especially if you have a directly linked account. Food for thought: they had thought that BCBS was covering at 100% for us and that we had met our out of pocket since the money was paid in full by BCBS. What they hadn't realized was that 20% was coming directly out of our health care account on the back end and paid through BCBS. May be why we were getting billed for 2 codes. Our new therapist said that over billing is, unfortunately, far too common in her profession and it was why she had left her last place of employment. Anyhow, be careful! read more

My son had a speech delay and doctor told us he needed therapy. We had tried Scott & White first, but the therapist had a difficult time connecting with my son. Their facilities was not really child friendly. So we decide to call around for another alternative. Round Rock Children's Therapy sounded the most promising based on the way the staff talked to us on the phone, so we took our son in. I was very pleasantly surprised after coming from Scott and White. This place had tons of toys and toy rooms. They even have a trampoline. It made my son very comforatble. Mellissa connected extremely well with my son, and my son is extremely picky so this was a big plus. We've gone about 6 sessions now and I am very impressed with the facilities, the staff and the way they connect to my son. Melissa always tell me a the end of each session progress made and where we are with his development. I am very pleased and would highly recommend Children's Therapy Center. read more

Miss D has been wonderful to work with and each visit always ends on a high note.
