I called to inquire about an evaluation for my child. The lady with what sounded like an English accent asks if my insurance was with an employer. It was not. Then she asks "is it Marketplace"? Not knowing what marketplace was, I said yes. Then she curtly said that this insurance was not accepted. After the call, I logged into my insurance (which was purchased directly from UnitedHealthcare) and, sure enough, they WERE in network, as I had UHC Choice, and not Marketplace, I call back telling her this information and was referred to the manager, and he was repeating the same information. I told him I misspoke and clarified that I did not have Marketplace insurance and that I purchased the insurance directly from the UHC website, which he claimed this wasn't a thing (YES, this is a thing, because I did it. ). They didn't bother to fully check to see if the office was in network (didn't actually ask for my Member ID information or other details) which is what dozens of offices have done as standard protocol. Eventually the man did say that we can take my insurance, but wouldn't be able to accept my husband's Aetna insurance in 2026 - but that I could still schedule something under my current insurance. ABSOLUTELY NOT! The conversation with reception left a bad taste in my mouth and I have scheduled evaluation services elsewhere. I would recommend in-house office training on how not to escalate insurance issues and on common customer service skills. And if insurance companies are listing your office as in-network when it's not, you need to figure out how to fix that on your end.

My care here has been therapy for a dislocation for my elbow. I feel I get the utmost thorough treatment. They use ultrasonic treatment, heat therapy, exercise, and massage. After getting tubes he was improving but our pediatrician recommended he get assessed for speech services. Saba is so knowledgeable and welcoming, and my son loved her right away. She would go to his daycare and would always send a detailed report on what they worked on. It was always the highlight of my son's week . It was very bittersweet when she told us that he no longer needed services-while we were ecstatic with his progress and no longer having a delay, we knew he would be so sad not seeing Ms. Saba every week. He continued to see them for approximately a year and even though we had to switch therapists due to scheduling a couple of times, they were amazing with him. *Sometimes the scheduling issue was theirs, not ours. They are very strict about their schedule though and you can't call in sick more than a couple of times, so if your child has issues like mine did with constant ear infections due to a malformation of his head (severe plagiocephely caused in utero), it could present a disruption to a childs therapy which could be unfortunate. Thankfully, we were able to maintain a consistent enough attendance not to warrant ejection from the program. But, it is something to be aware of.
