Our daughter improved so much within a short period of time and it was measurable. We have been super impressed with the teachers and the higher level of academics. Kids at Challenger School are a year or more ahead of their peers who attend highly rated public schools. While the curriculum is excellent, what we love the most about Challenger School is how much our daughter's personality has blossomed. She has become more self-confident and independent. She was super shy and had major separation anxiety issues. Now she engages everyone in conversation, and she happily participates in school performances, speaking and singing in front of a crowd of her peers, teachers and other parents. We are super proud of her progress and achievements! Challenger School is costly, but worth every single penny! However, it may not be for everyone. It is a very structured environment. You won't find any hand-holding or coddling, as they strongly encourage independence and independent thinking. They teach every student about personal responsibility. It is the student's responsibility to make sure their homework is done on a daily basis and brought to the school, and they actually want the students to do their homework on their own. It sounds crazy, but my daughter truly loves doing her homework! We consider ourselves blessed that our daughter attends Challenger School. We couldn't be happier with the school and the teachers. We highly recommend it!

They are gaining the foundations for respecting themselves and others and they understand why letters make certain sounds or why numbers add up to a certain sum...not just bc that's the way it is. The teachers are awesome!!! Especially Margaret Zachary. She is always willing to let us voice our concern (if any), is extremely cordial and insanely nice. From the front desk seeing Ms. Sara to every teacher there, each interaction and experience has been very positive. The parents that have their children in there seem to have a similar sentiment. If I could add more stars to this review, I would. If I could add flying monkeys on spaceships to the stars on the review, I would. Don't be fooled by the negative reviews. I have had my kids in this school for over a full school year now as well as summer and it's the best decision I've made for them in their early childhood development and growth.

After much searching, interviewing and site visits we have enrolled our daughter in this preschool…read moreand are quite happy with our decision. Our daughter was previously at an all play based preschool where she would have very little structure. We wanted to find a school that not only promoted more learning but also promoted learning through play, dance and song. We found that Challenger offered that. We have always shared creative learning with our child and wanted to make sure that she had all options available to her. There are some comments on here about diversity, but this is one of the most diverse Challenger campuses. Also, Challenger is now offering a referral tuition discount program for 2017-2018 year. If you are interested in this program, please contact me so we can both have the two-way 15% referral tuition discount every month throughout the academic year! If you use me as a referral for the 2017-2018 year. Message me for details.

We…read morewere extremely excited to have our infant son go to preschool here, but Monday I showed up to pick him up and his teachers weren't wearing masks. They had removed them during the day without notice, as they were no longer technically required. I pleaded directly with his teachers to see if they were open to wearing them voluntarily, then with the director Jeneffer. My husband and I decided to withdraw our son. Even if they agreed at that point they had broken our trust; there was no way of knowing if staff would wear their masks when we weren't there. My husband spoke with the owner Emily on the phone, who during a heated conversation had a few odd things to say about the pandemic (including saying that staff weren't wearing masks during our tour in January, so we can't expect them now. Like, what?). We paid half tuition in July to save our son's spot under Emily's assurance that they would take every precaution when he started school in August. One month in, I feel duped and I'm suddenly without childcare. This is an excellent school, but I can't recommend them during the pandemic.

Highly reconsider your thoughts after reading this, Before applying and working here or bringing…read moreyour child here. I didn't even last a month working here, There's a reason for their high turnover rate. 1. Don't believe everything you see, there's no cameras in the classrooms, not everything is all sunshine on the other side. When Jennifer "corrects" a child's behavior, Her way of doing so, Is by tapping a child on the head with a pen over and over until they do what they are told. Repeating herself over and over again until the child listens and also pulls them by their arms. 2. I've heard Jennifer yell at employees, Such as picking a crying child up after nap and holding them. 3. You are underpaid here, They do not pay enough for the amount of work they try to put on you. 4. Emily the owner also likes to go around to her favorite employees and talk about the employees she doesn't like and what she does not like about them. 5. They will try to take away time from your lunch and have you do other stuff for the job, as if I'm not here full time already and need my full hour of lunch to relax for me as I should. 6. I was being asked by Jennifer, Where am I going for lunch because I did not want to stay in the building for my lunch. When I am off the clock, That is none of your concern first and foremost. I had asked her where Easter eggs were and that's when she showed me in the shed and started questioning me with abnormal questions where no one else was around and could hear the conversation. My privacy felt violated, I felt extremely uncomfortable. 7. If you've never been with a certain age group before, they will throw you in a class by yourself and expect you to know how to do everything, then give you attitude for not knowing and micromanage you for not doing this or that. 8. I unfortunately thought maybe this would've been a good place for myself to work at. Don't be fooled by a smile, it absolutely disgust me with the way these "women" behaved towards me and other employees. When parents are out the building, they are different towards the kids and us employees. The lazy employees/ bossy employees get prioritized, But the hard workers get treated horribly. that's why they can't find assistant teachers to stick around long in classrooms.
