I came here for an annual check up. I've had chronic issues with breathing. Dr. Lander also specializes in allergies, so I took the allergy test shots to see what I was allergic too. If you're planning to take the test, I would day allot about an hour for all the testing and questions. I asked a bunch of questions and they were addressed. During my visit, there was another patient next door that appeared to have an episode of something and from what I could hear was vomiting. Although Dr. Lander was helping me and was abruptly interrupted by the very sick patient, he hurried to the next room to see what was wrong. The way he handled the situation and at the same time, letting me know he hasn't forgotten about me was handled really well. I would most definitely be coming back to Dr. Lander's office for future appointments. In addition, there is a small parking area that can accommodate up to 3 cars. Seems that he does not understand much. Did not ask me what vitamins I am taking. Only asked about medications. I pointed out that I am not taking medication but I take vitamins. He did not care about that. Dear doctor, what if i am overdosing on calcium? Or other vitamins that can be harmful if taken too long and too much? Nop, he does not care. 3. Have any concerns about the condition that you might have? I have a condition that needs to be watched. Well, his response is "Does that bother you, prevents you from breathing?" Excuse me, I did not know that we need to wait for the condition to accelerate to the level where it prevents me from breathing. I thought the point of monitoring your health problems is to prevent those problems from developing further or catch them if they become worse. 3. Got my blood work back. So, if there anything that is wrong with you blood results-something has lower or higher level that needed, his response is "go ask another doctor, maybe he recommends something". I got my gf to switch over to her from her current PCP. And my gf is happy with her. 1) No wait time 2) You ONLY see Dr. Lu and not some medical assistant 3) They don't rush you in and out as if you were cattle trying to you milk you and your insurance for money 4) She totally devotes her time to you. She'll answer all of your questions and concerns. At first, I was skeptical because I thought she was too young and inexperienced. She proved me wrong. She actually gives a shit whether or not you want to hear it. 5) Co-pay. When my gf asked if she had a co-pay, the receptionist told her no. My gf's former PCP required her to pay a $10 co-pay.
