I was never disrespected when I needed to obtain a referral from my doctor; I simply informed the staff that I would call my doctor to have it entered into the system. However, one of the front desk staff raised her voice and demanded that I "sign this now," as if I were a child, while I was on the phone with my doctor. I hope this isn't how she interacts with all patients. In my experience working in clinics, it's crucial to communicate with patients in a respectful manner. The front desk staff are often the first point of contact, and politeness and respect should be core values in any clinic. On a positive note, I found the doctors and staff in the back to be very welcoming and respectful.

He will also recommend herbal remedies and dietary changes when he thinks that will work better than prescription drugs, which is rare for western doctors. He provided me with informational documents about dust mites and products that would be effective against dust mite allergy without trying to sell me anything. The only negative thing I could think of was that Dr. Menchell did take a longer time than I expected. Being thorough is good, but the process could have been much quicker.
