My exhaust was the first thing I've had done and I'm scheduled to get my struts and breaks fixed a little later! I just want to start off with how much they are working with me to get these things done. I'm not rich at all and if I had a stable job I would have loved to take them up on there offer with the credit options. But luckily, they know how to prioritize what needs fixing and scheduled me out for when I'll have the money to have those things fixed. Secondly, I want to point out how fast they got the job done! Julie had told me to bring it in so that they could diagnose the problem for me and that they could schedule me next week if I decided to get it fixed with them. Well, sure enough I bought it in on Friday morning, that same morning they were able to tell me what was wrong and the same day they ordered the parts and got it fixed! I literally got my car back at 3pm and genuinely did not expect that! I saw a sign in their shop and it said that they value their time, well I guess they also value everyone else's time too! I don't want to get into the free things that they did for me because I don't want anyone trying to come rip these lovely people off, but I do want to say the things that they did for me, that they had every right to charge me for, has let me know that I'm dealing with some really good people and has made this place my go-to spot! These are good hard working people who respects the customers that comes through their shop, no matter if you have a lot of money or not! The prices are absolutely doable and they don't pressure you if you can't do everything right then in there! Lastly, I just want to point out that I am a single black woman and the reason I bring up my race and gender is because we all know it matters, especially when it comes to mechanics! Thoroughly unprofessional and they take too much time…read more I went in to get my summer tires replaced with my winter tires and what followed was an adventure I don't care for. First they ripped a whole in my new winter tire and had to order a new one to replace it. So this meant I had to cancel all my meetings for the next day since I didn't have my car. When I did get my car back the TPMS light was on. The guys in the shop had no clue about how to turn it off. One of them was googling it in front of me. Even after they 'fixed' it, the light came back on immediately. Then I found out that the stem valve on one of the tires was corroded- a fact that no one called me or told me about- EVEN AFTER PAYING AN EXTRA $25 FOR A TOP TO BOTTOM INSPECTION. Sitting in a Mavis right now to find out, once and for all, what the problem is. This is the 3rd day on a row that I have had to cancel all meetings. Please go to Olean, Hornell or even the Rochester to get car work done. The people at this place take advantage of the fact that they are one of the few car repair plces in the village. So they think they can get away with any kind of lazy, horrendous service.
