The pork taco was dripping with charred pork flavor and came with grilled onions on the side. The double corn tortilla kept everything together as I dug in bite after bite. When the loaded steak fries showed up, my jaw dropped to the ground! This thing was big enough for 3-4 people to share...whoopsy! The crispy fries came layered with strips of grilled steak, a white cheese sauce, guacamole and a sour cream drizzle. Damn these things were good! And if that wasn't enough, I also ordered dessert because I am a sucker for flan (I grew up in Miami and have eaten probably one million flans). Honestly, was not a fan of their version's texture (too grainy, not creamy) and their sauce was not as sweet as many others I've had...but glad to have tried it. Everything was excellent, but the tamale was just a tad dry, but did taste homemade which was a plus. The tacos were well seasoned and the burrito was huge so we had leftovers. The food came out fast and before we left we also ordered a mango smoothie and mango with tajin/tamarind which was the perfect sweet treat. La Campirana is an absolute gem and one you should visit immediately!
