Well done museum tracing Route 66 through the decades of the 1920s to present day. As you enter each room the displays are clear and informative, with music of that aera playing in the background. As you may know, Route 66 goes from Chicago to Los Angeles. One of the stops along the way is Clinton, OK, so that is why this museum is here. The vibrant colors and lights were appealing to me and certainly kept my attention. My group stopped to take several photos along the way like they were taking a trip down memory lane.

A MUST See!! A true step back in time. We made a road trip on our way from AZ to OK. Little did we know that along the way we would see many of the highlights featured in the museum. Take the time and see this hidden gem.

Great museum, well worth the $26 for my wife and I and 3 boys. Really a must see if traveling Route 66 to learn all the history and such. Great exhibits. Nice gift shop. Clean restrooms. Plan on spending 30-90 minutes here. Here's a video of our visit. https://youtu.be/gexLrgJ57Go

Stopped by on our way through Oklahoma along Route 66. Such a cute little museum, we loved the way it was set up with the little mock town. Things were grouped very well. The Route 66 mural was worth the 5 dollars alone! A little weird smelling in some spots, but hey, that's the nature of antiques. Three museums included in such a good price, well worth the stop. So many cute photo ops too!

One of the best Route 66 Museums on the Mother Road and a must visit for any traveler going through this long journey! I was thrilled that we stopped and hung out for an hour before making our way over to Texas. This museum is beautifully crafted, fun, colorful, and filled with relics from the past. Admission is $5 but it is certainly worth it for the experience to walk (not drive) through history. The museum is laid out in different sections- each with its own accompanying song that puts you in the road trip mood. Through the path, you learn about the beginnings of Route 66, the changes it went through, shout outs to some of the major attractions, and conclusions with where its legacy goes now in Santa Monica. There are lots of photos to see and descriptions that really take you back in time when America was a little more rustic. There is a lot to experience at this museum, so it will be helpful to carve out at least an hour for your visit. Any attempt to do less and you're really rushing through some great exhibits. Once you are done, you can enjoy the gift shop that boasts numerous plates and swag to appease any individual. Bring your cameras here for the large Route 66 sign as well as a "Welcome to Oklahoma" sign if you didn't manage to get one before. Parking is available in a private lot.

Cute museum! If you have time for a quick stop to stretch your legs, come here! Great gifts and lots of memorabilia!

Just pulling in.

What a neat museum. We've been on Route 66 since Illinois and this was by far the neatest stop. It was really cool to see lots of the other places we've been on the walls in stunning acrylic covered photographs. The kids (ages 5 and 8) were totally engaged with the help of a scavenger hunt sheet. Be sure to ask for it at the front desk!! Lots of great souvenir options, clean restrooms, friendly staff. We loved it!!

Found this accidentally as we drove on I-40. We loved it! It certainly was more than meets the eye. If you like history or the movie Cars, you'll love this place.

I loved this stop along Route 66!! I have been to many stops along the classic highway and this is by far one of the better museums. Divided by the decades you can walk through the entire history of the highway, those who traveled it, what songs were popular, the cost of living through each decade and so much more. In the final exhibit you can see where many of the most iconic stops rest now, some in a state of disrepair others still alive and going. It is a full circle view of such an amazing part of history!

A Must!
