But he was VERY close to the lowest (within a few hundred on a $9k job). Even though he wasn't the lowest, we decided to go with him because we felt the most comfortable with him doing the work, understanding our wants and needs, and being able to put those wants and needs into our yard without second guessing our decision. So for peace of mind, knowing that it will be done how we want it and be don't right, it is worth just the few dollar difference from the lowest quote. Oh, for those who might not like he didn't get back to a few of the reviewers, he did get in touch with me right away. Communicated quickly via email (which I preferred). And was flexible with the time on coming to view what needed to be done. I will update my post when the job is done!!!

Fast forward to September 15th, I figured I would give them a second chance since there are limited-service options for providers. I inquired about winterization service, but unfortunately, I was told that they are not accepting new customers... Edit: I am being honest and such review is fair. I ACCEPTED being put on a wait list and waiting 3 - 4 weeks. Unfortunately, I was never contacted again. At the end of the day, you CAN control one thing. YOU CAN... Call a customer to let them know that due to whatever reason(s) you will not be able to service them, instead of making them wait several weeks on end for a call back. You can either make excuses, or you can take accountability by communicating. I previously ran a business, and I fully understand the importance of this. It is not difficult. Unfortunately, the installation completely failed to meet that standard, and the customer service follow-up was non-existent. The discharge point they installed sits in a depression, meaning the water constantly overflows and sheets directly across the public sidewalk instead of draining properly. This created a slip hazard and left a permanent puddle in the yard. Because the water was left to sit stagnant, my grass is now dying and turning orange from iron bacteria. When I reached out to Daniel with photos of the flooding, he told me to 'wait 10 days' for the ground to drain. I waited the full timeframe, but the problem persisted. I reached out multiple times afterward to get a plan together to fix the grading or extend the line. Daniel completely stopped responding and abandoned the project. I am now having to hire a second landscaping company to fix the problem.
