One of the things that really stuck out for me was when I was in her office, there was another customer that came to the gate and she was punching in her code wrong. Sanda was able to see who it was, called that customer by name through the intercom, and advised she should enter it again. Knowing each customer like that adds such a personal touch. It really warms my heart. During one of my trips I noticed Alex in the front watering the garden. He stopped and waved to me, it felt like home. Afraid to sleep on either bed that they reassembled. I removed the photos and changed the rating because Jerome from Moving ahead did an excellent job of correcting all our issues. I view the measure of a company not only on the original work but how they handle any issues that occur from the move. Moving Ahead Services did an excellent job correctly every issue we had. Although staff members are very kind, this company will gouge you with constantly rising fees. As a result the monthly rental fee is now hundreds of dollars higher, which happened in a span of about 2 years. They sent notices of thd rate change to my old address, despite my changing my address on my account; therefore I never saw the notices, and was blindsided by the gross jump in price each time. Also, I tried repeatedly to pay on time with a card that had more than enough funds in it, but the app wouldn't take the card. When I finally found another card to pay with, the payment ended up being late with an exorbitant late fee. The card was from the exact same bank, so the kind of card had nothing to do with it. The original rental fee may sound tempting, but be prepared for the rate to rocket in price fairly quickly.

I am so glad we did. The only link in the whole process that was handled with professionalism and real human care was Sue's at Storage Sense. Our unpackers (Them Movers; avoid at all costs) never showed and just left us hanging and the freight company (ABF) just left their trailer sitting in Storage Sense driveway for two days. Sue worked with us, allowed the trailer to sit while we arranged for Eric's Hauling and Moving to come help us out at the last moment.
