Rovak services aerated and over-seeded my yard recently. I wanted to use my own seed and they were willing to do that. I couldn't be happier with the result! I now have new grass coming up all over my yard! I aerate and over-seed every year, Rovak made sure the conditions were correct before they worked instead of aerating dry ground! Had several trees that were in NEED of a trim. Reached to a well known company that kept making appointments but never showed. Reached out to Rovak Maintenance and Meredith responded within 24hrs with a quote. Brandon arrived early said he would be done in 4hrs, but was actually done in 3! We did a final review (trees look awesome), he gave me a few pointers (very knowledgeable) and he even checked my gutters while completing trim. I hired this company because the price was good and because the owner happens to be my neighbor and I wanted to support a small family owned business. They were to cut my grass weekly and do all edging and pull the weeds that had grown out. On the first cut they were a few hours late but that didn't bother me as long as the work got done no big deal. They did not do the edging and told me it would be done the next service date. I was also told someone will be sent to pull the weeds. It didn't get done that day either and 3 weeks later when I called to discuss it I was ignored and only got a response when I canceled my service. They replied right away and apologized and promised me someone would be out on Friday to get it done (the email was on weds my cut day). They sent someone that evening to pull the weeds finally after a month of asking. On Friday nobody still showed up to do the edging and on the next weds for the lawn cut the edging again wasn't done. At this point I've had enough and canceled the service explaining this was unacceptable service and got a reply telling me that nothing is unacceptable and that they went above and beyond for me. How pathetic and they literally live right behind me!!! Such a simple problem to fix and was given the run around for way too long. If they will treat their own neighbor this way how will they treat someone else? And I was warned by a few of my other neighbors not to go with them and I didn't believe they were THAT bad.... well, I was very wrong! All I can say is BEWARE AND YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! read more
