I'm honestly so sad to be writing this, but this is what my hair looked like just three hours after leaving the salon following a $700 (!!) color correction that was supposed to include a full head of highlights, gloss, and root smudge. The salon definitely gives you the whole bougie, luxury experience, down to the branded cappuccino, but unfortunately, the actual hair service was incredibly disappointing. Before booking, I specifically asked whether they had experience working with curly hair, and I was told that they did. That was important to me and part of the reason I felt comfortable booking here. Based on my results, though, I seriously question how much experience they actually have with curly hair. Jodi also did a consultation with me over the phone after looking at photos of my hair, so I had a pretty good idea of what the service would cost. I was completely prepared to spend the money because I had just had a baby and really wanted to treat myself and feel good about my hair. For $700, I genuinely did not expect to walk away with these results. During the appointment, Jodi told me she couldn't highlight the bottom portion of my hair or parts of my crown because some of the hair there was damaged. I completely understood not wanting to risk further damage and appreciated the caution. What I don't understand is why I was still charged for a full head of highlights when significant sections of my hair were not highlighted at all. If the full service couldn't safely be performed, I would have expected the price to reflect that. What made the experience even more disappointing was the response when I reached out afterward. I messaged Jodi and sent her photos showing exactly how my hair looked. Instead of acknowledging my concerns or trying to make things right, I was basically told that she didn't see a problem because I had asked for a "lived-in" look, that I should give it a few days, and that if I had now changed my mind and wanted highlights closer to the roots, I could come back. The problem is, I didn't suddenly change my mind. I'm unhappy with the result of a service I already paid $700 for. There's a difference between a beautiful, blended lived-in look and leaving the salon feeling like your hair already needs to be done again. I went into this appointment excited to pamper myself after having a baby and was completely willing to pay a premium price for premium work. Instead, I left feeling incredibly disappointed, both with the result and with how my concerns were handled afterward. The atmosphere may feel luxurious, but for this price point, I expected the quality of the service, the transparency around what I was actually being charged for, and the response to an unhappy client to match. read more

Do not recommend. I was initially impressed that the salon required a consultation before booking color. I thought, "Great, they're going to take the time to understand my goals." Instead, the consultation was one-sided from the start. Within minutes of looking at one photo, I was told by Jodi I needed a full color correction. (Aka, money grab). When I explained that my goal was to gradually transition to my natural gray with added lowlights and dimension over time, the conversation didn't really continue. The response was essentially that it had to be corrected now. I wasn't looking for someone to tell me the most expensive or most technically perfect service. I was looking for someone willing to work with my long-term goals and discuss options.... The irony is that I spent more time getting a tour of the salon--including the shampoo area and the restroom--than discussing the hairstyle I came in to achieve. I left feeling like I had been presented with a predetermined service rather than a collaborative professional consultation, so I chose not to book. It may be good for the young people there getting all sorts of treatments. But, for a more professional look, I don't think it was the place for me.Also, very unorganized and sloppy. Everyone was so sweet, the salon was amazing with communication, and they had me all set for my consult and bayalage appointment the next day. The website said prices vary based on your hair, but that they are committed to providing affordable balayage services without compromising on quality! So I was feeling optimistic when trying out a new salon close to my new home! Unfortunately after my consultation I was a bit shocked!! They had recommended the usual bayalage/tone/ glaze/and cut. They quoted me $560 for the services as a new client. They offered to do a partial for only $100 less when I asked if there was any other options available or any other stylists. But that they all charge roughly the same prices. I have never paid that much for a bayalage and I have gotten my hair done in palm beach county and Miami at IGK (where they do a ton of celebrities) for the past 10 years. Prior to that NYC! And still never quoted $560. Needless to say I was a bit surprised and shocked and felt a bit blindsided by this. I wish I wouldn't have waisted my time, so I just wanted to leave this review here for others wondering about pricing for this salon. I'm writing this review so that people have an honest answer. I Came in for color. The color was supposed to be just to cover a few grays and amp up my color. Extremely unhappy after 3 weeks all of the color washed out. I also asked for semi permanent color and the owner claims I only got a glaze - which isn't true. I called the owner to let her know and they actually told me that it's what happens after 3 weeks- I feel that this is unfair to a paying customer. I will not be returning.
