Do not recommend. I was initially impressed that the salon required a consultation before booking color. I thought, "Great, they're going to take the time to understand my goals." Instead, the consultation was one-sided from the start. Within minutes of looking at one photo, I was told by Jodi I needed a full color correction. (Aka, money grab). When I explained that my goal was to gradually transition to my natural gray with added lowlights and dimension over time, the conversation didn't really continue. The response was essentially that it had to be corrected now. I wasn't looking for someone to tell me the most expensive or most technically perfect service. I was looking for someone willing to work with my long-term goals and discuss options.... The irony is that I spent more time getting a tour of the salon--including the shampoo area and the restroom--than discussing the hairstyle I came in to achieve. I left feeling like I had been presented with a predetermined service rather than a collaborative professional consultation, so I chose not to book. It may be good for the young people there getting all sorts of treatments. But, for a more professional look, I don't think it was the place for me.Also, very unorganized and sloppy. This salon may do satisfactory (or better) styling for woman, but the stylist I had who acknowledged she had experience in cutting men's hair ( I am a male and am use to satisfactory or better hair styling) especially for the exorbitant price of $85.00 for just a hair cut, less than acceptable. I wash my hair daily, use Moroccan Oil Moisture Repair shampoo and conditioner, do a weekly Moroccan Oil Restorative Hair mask, and rarely use blow dryer (only when necessary) I typically allow my hair to air dry. The reviews of this salon were awesome and I was so excited for my consultation today! Everyone was so sweet, the salon was amazing with communication, and they had me all set for my consult and bayalage appointment the next day. The website said prices vary based on your hair, but that they are committed to providing affordable balayage services without compromising on quality! So I was feeling optimistic when trying out a new salon close to my new home! Unfortunately after my consultation I was a bit shocked!! They had recommended the usual bayalage/tone/ glaze/and cut. They quoted me $560 for the services as a new client. They offered to do a partial for only $100 less when I asked if there was any other options available or any other stylists. But that they all charge roughly the same prices. I have never paid that much for a bayalage and I have gotten my hair done in palm beach county and Miami at IGK (where they do a ton of celebrities) for the past 10 years. Prior to that NYC! And still never quoted $560. Needless to say I was a bit surprised and shocked and felt a bit blindsided by this. I wish I wouldn't have waisted my time, so I just wanted to leave this review here for others wondering about pricing for this salon. Abby was managing and handling the front desk, and she immediately set the vibe for my 3.5 hour long appointment. I had a hair dye mishap and needed assistance immediately. Having never been at this salon before, I thought that they would turn me away, but they did not. They were welcoming, professional, kind and saw to my needs immediately. Valentino worked at stripping my hair color for hours. All the girls who assisted were lovely, and they could not be any kinder. The owner checked on me several times and saw to it that all my needs were met. I'm writing this review so that people have an honest answer. I Came in for color. The color was supposed to be just to cover a few grays and amp up my color. Extremely unhappy after 3 weeks all of the color washed out. I also asked for semi permanent color and the owner claims I only got a glaze - which isn't true. I called the owner to let her know and they actually told me that it's what happens after 3 weeks- I feel that this is unfair to a paying customer. I will not be returning. After discussing what needed to be done, I decided to book my appointment. Everyone there is amazing! So incredibly kind right down to calling and or sending a confirmation text for your upcoming appointment. They make you feel like a client who has been coming there for years! Denise knocked my color correction out of the park!!! I am blown away (no pun intended, lol) by how gorgeous my hair looks in just one visit!
