And it never feels like a formality -- you can tell they truly want to understand you. I really appreciated how they match you with the right class. It never feels like you're just placed wherever there's availability. Instead, they recommend what actually fits you best -- so you feel comfortable, safe, and supported. The sessions themselves are both professional and gentle. The instructors are always attentive -- they carefully watch your form, make small adjustments, guide you, and support you throughout. And they do it in such a kind, respectful way that you feel encouraged, not pressured. One of my favorite things is the small group size. It creates this almost private-session feeling. You're seen, you're heard, and you get real attention -- which is so rare and so valuable. The atmosphere in the studio is incredibly warm and calming. It feels like a place where you can slow down, take a breath, and just be taken care of for a little while. For me, it's become more than just a workout -- it's truly a little time for myself. I work full-time in the tech industry, but Pilates Forever Studio has become my 2nd home. Being a part of this studio for almost 2 yrs now has benefited me both physically and mentally, and I have gained long-lasting friendships with a lot of the people here. I've done the rotating gym memberships at 24-Hr Fitness, Bay Club, Orange Theory, etc throughout my whole life, but this is the first time I've stayed committed continuously to one place. I was looking for a cross training activity to help me improve my balance, flexibility, and strength, especially in my core. These classes check all of those boxes! That said, I have been delighted to find such a welcoming place full of capable, friendly, and patient instructors who are willing to help me learn and improve my form. The Pleasanton studio is clean and well organized and it is easy to schedule or change classes through their app. But really, the people who teach the classes, and those who attend them, make a difference with their positivity and encouragement. A bonus benefit (for me at least) is the mental workout I get too. I need to focus and concentrate during the workouts; both on getting my form correct and on the instructions given during the class. I like the variety of class formats offered and the ever-changing exercises done within each class. The variety keeps things fresh and helps me stay engaged and challenged. I want to stay fit and healthy as I age and Pure Barre classes will help me do just that.

Parking was difficult and I sprinted in as the clock stuck 3:36 for a 3:30 class. Cut off was 3:35 no exceptions. Wow! I paid for the class, it's my minutes being sacrificed. The classes are broken up into rowers, treadmill, and floor / weights each time with different exercises per a class so it doesn't get super boring (I've been asked...). I go 2x a week and I can see a huge improvement - I recently went hiking and barely needed any breaks thanks to all the incline work we do on the treads. Shout out to Coach Sarah and Paul who always have the best music! Totally makes a difference for a better workout. Would be 5 stars but recently I feel like every machine has no space in between and is right next to each other (I swear it used to be farther apart??) and the treadmill area is lacking AC to where I feel hot air vs the floor where I feel the AC.

This is EXACTLY what everybody should look for in a gym. Not only is the training top tier but the students and coaches, no matter what, are always there to lift you up and strengthen your weaknesses. There is such an overwhelming feeling of positivity that I have never seen in any other gym. I was definitely very nervous stepping in on my first day but as soon as everybody started introducing themselves that feeling was replaced with the excitement to train with everybody there. I don't know how they did it but every person I've met who trains here just keeps me wanting to come back better than I was last class. if you are hesitant on what gym to pick please listen to me and just give the resistance a try, I promise you won't regret it.

The massage chairs now allow you to scan your pass in order to start up for one ten minute session per day instead of you having to bother the front desk person to start it up. In addition, they now have a red light therapy room that runs in ten minute sessions as well. You better believe I'll be taking advantage of the massage and RLT post shift. Zumba classes still available when I decide to drop by again (you're too popular Alberto!) and no issues with the workout equipment. I also appreciate that they have a variety of channels playing so you can station yourself accordingly based on your preference.

The gym culture here is incredibly inconsiderate. Members regularly leave weights scattered everywhere without re-racking them, making it frustrating and unsafe for others trying to work out. There's a noticeable sense of entitlement--people act like basic gym etiquette just doesn't apply to them. What really pushed things over the edge for me was the cleanliness, especially in the restrooms. On more than one occasion, I've walked into stalls that were absolutely disgusting--unflushed toilets and, unbelievably, feces left on the toilet seat. That's beyond unacceptable for any facility, let alone one people pay to use. Management is also a major issue. The manager, Joe, doesn't seem to take complaints seriously. Calls go unanswered, and there's little to no follow-up when issues are reported. It feels like concerns are ignored rather than addressed. Overall, this gym has potential, but until management enforces basic standards for cleanliness and member behavior, I wouldn't recommend it.
