Life-changing! I never thought I'd say this about a gym/studio. I've been a member at another gym for a very long time, but I rarely went. I've never liked or enjoyed exercise. However, as I got older and started going through menopause, both my body and my doctors, family, and friends were giving me the same message that I was losing muscle, strength, and energy. Knowing myself, I was very skeptical when I first visited The Well Studio. But this place has been completely life-changing for me. It's so much more than just a clean facility with great equipment and a wide selection of classes. There is something truly special about the people here. I don't know how they found such amazing, encouraging instructors and staff. Even the other members are incredibly supportive, friendly, and fun. I felt the positive energy the moment I walked through the door, but I wanted to make sure it wasn't just a good first impression. During my 2-weeks trial, I ended up going every single day to try different classes except for two Sundays and I realized what I felt was 100% real. As soon as my trial ended, I immediately signed up for a monthly membership because I love this place so much. I've never enjoyed working out this much, and I actually look forward to going every day. My family and friends are in absolute shock hearing this come out of my mouth and honestly, so am I! This place is so amazing!! They offer weight/cardio machines, yoga, pilates, and personal training. They make sure everything is clean and well-stocked. Cassie's yoga class was wonderful!! It was my first time attending, and she made sure to make everyone feel included and welcome. She created a safe spot for everyone to learn and practice yoga. I'm a charter member of The Well Studio and I absolutely love this gym. The variety of classes to fit my needs on a weekly basis, the cleanliness in the studio and the bathrooms are always consistent. The staff and instructors make it a point to know you by nan and acknowledge you. I don't mind driving from San Ramon to Dublin. It's well worth it for me to be accountable for my personal health. I recently started going to Katie for Reki sessions at the Well Studio. I had never been to a Reki session and I knew nothing about it. Katie really explained the process in great detail so I felt very comfortable. Now, the treatment that I received changed my life! My horrible 9 day migraine went away after the first session. I also feel so energetic and joyful after the session. I'm not a gym person at all with the crowds, unprofessional staff and inconsiderate people. My friend recommended I try The Well Studio as the environment is completely different from what you'd expect at a gym. The Well Studio is a coed "boutique gym" - small, clean, modern, welcoming, zen-like space offering group glasses: cardio, yoga, barre, Pilates, TRX along with plenty of equipment to get a good workout. I do enjoy high energy, cardio type-group classes so mainly sign up for UJams, Cardio Kick and cardio/core strength which I love...once in a routine I'll sign up for other class like Pilates and barre for the stretch aspect. It's only been 1.5 months but really appreciate the friendly staff, energetic and motivating instructors like Teresa K, Lisa P, Gillian, Jackie and Ramsey. Thank you! Half the battle is getting there and once done, I feel great after...and truly it has helped to improve my mental health as well as boosting my energy level. Other services offered: live streaming and on-demand classes, workouts and wellness education, semi-private training sessions, including Pilates and all floor training sessions. I was looking for a gym in the area and didn't think the "big box" gym culture fit my goals. I I thought, only 5 star reviews... Must be too good to be true. Thankfully I was wrong! I started my intro membership by only going to yoga classes, but soon branched out into strength classes. I went from sedentary to going to the gym four, five, sometimes even six times a week!!! It's a non-judgmental space that is welcoming to beginners. Sometimes this means that I (on the active side) need to work harder to challenge myself. My favorite instructors are Ramsey, Cassie, and Kim. and I love that Gillian at the front desk knows my name :) It took me forever to find their pricing options - if you go to their online schedule, there's a tab where you can see pricing of memberships. I'm not sure I'll stick with the classes forever, but right now it feels like a delicious splurge on my well-being! read more

Like this place but didn't end up singing up. I hope that I can get to a place in my life where I can prioritize fitness but I tried and can't quite make it work with my babies- why I didn't end up signing up after my lovely trial. 1. Certain Classes filled up too fast-- the only 2 that worked with my schedule I had to sign up 2 weeks in advance. 2. I walked in and as a person in my late 30's, I wasn't sure if I signed up for a senior class or if it was marketed a certain way. But the instructor would say things like "let's make sure we can pick up our grandkids! Lift those weights!". I giggled inside but felt like maybe I wasn't supposed to be there? either way, I got a really good workout in. 3. It's clean-- I felt comfortable using the weights and everyone is great about cleaning them post class. i recommend trying it out. read more

I called a bunch of gyms before signing up here, and honestly most of them couldn't give me a straight answer about how they handle beginners. This was the only place that was able to explain things and made me feel comfortable. That alone made me want to try it, and I'm so glad I did. The trainers are awesome--super patient, encouraging, and they actually pay attention to different fitness levels. I've done strength training, cardio kick, Ujam, yoga, Barre etc. and every class is fun and challenging. It is really up to you to decide how challenging you need it to be. The gym is always clean, the equipment is great, and the sauna is amazing after a workout. I started my fitness journey later in life, but now I look forward to going here. Can't say enough about Well Studio. The range of classes, instructors and good vibes are notable. I'd like to highlight Gillian E's Strength for All class. It's at the Beginner level and is 45 minutes for those of us that have been away from the gym. She's patient, easy-going and positive, no matter what you can do. Alright, this place is nice! If you've ever struggled at a regular gym, definitely check this place out. Such a unique and special vibe. Excellent staff and equipment to support you in your fitness and wellness goals. They have an infrared sauna plus emf grounding mat, meditation room, full gym, yoga, reformer pilates, and showers. I recently tried The Well Studio during their 2 week new student trial and I love it so much. The studio really does feel like a wellness center - they are fully equipped with cardio and strength machines, classes that are focused in many areas - yoga, cardio, strength. They have an in-house nutritionist, massage therapist, infrared sauna. I've taken classes with 2 instructors so far, Cassie and Lisa P., both of their classes were well structured and extremely motivating. I do wish they added maybe 1 more body sculpt/TRX class per day. These classes really help with strength and form, but the slots are limited (10) and you may not always be able to get spot. The small size classes are great because you don't feel "lost." read more

This is my home away from home! I love the Well! I have been coming here for the yoga and barre classes for nearly 3 years and they really do have the most amazing, caring, and talented instructors hands down!!! Stacy's energetic and mindful classes are my ultimate jams and I really look forward to her flows. Karli, Teresa, and Claudia are also some great teachers and I always leave feeling spiritually complete and wonderful! Delia has some heart pumping flows and the Pilates fusion has made me stronger!!! And Shannon, the early morning barre instructor, is absolutely fantastic and her barre sequences are much better (and stronger) than a cup of coffee!! She really explains the moves and dissects them out for us. Her enthusiasm and energy really jolt me in the morning. I know I'm forgetting some more great teachers in this list!!! Oh yah sweet Jackie the barre teacher on Saturdays is excellent and always has a heart share story to tell us while we are in seated pretzel or doing some difficult moves to encourage us and make us smile! Not only does the Well have great classes, but they are a full on gym with every kind of equipment and wonderful trainers to help you out. Did I also mention Pilates reformer machines and awesome instructors to boot?? A nutritionist on-site as well?? Oh yah, there's also an infrared sauna that i religiously book...it has really helped my eczema and my skin has never looked more amazing. It's my personal secret to looking radiant and rested. In addition, if your company has Active and Fit program or you are a member of United Healthcare you might be looking at a very very affordable package for this amazing studio/gym with spa like vibes. I have been looking for a good yoga studio for quite sometime now. I have finally found the perfect place and The Well Studio is more than just a yoga studio also! They have Pilates, strength training classes and more. All of their instructors are wonderful and skilled at their craft. I have NEVER been a gym rat and have always been drawn to the outside instead of organized instruction. Yoga is the exception. My daughter and I started attending classes in December and since them we've become members and visit the studio many times per week. We love vibe, the people and studio! I went in yesterday for about 545 and to the side desk lady about a complementary day to try out the gym since I was interested in joining due to a referral from my cousin who used to be a member at that gym. I had spoke to Zara in the morning, which I was very excited to meeting her that the lady in the front desk pretty much told me that I had to pay today and that she would charge me tomorrow. So I just took it as she didn't give me a complementary day and wanted to charge me just to try out the gym and they work out. By the time Zara had came, I already felt uncomfortable due to the lady in the front desk. They left me with a feeling of discrimination and stereotype. I didn't feel welcomed at all, considering that I was referred by someone who already went to the gym. Very disappointed with the service I got. read more

I began my membership in February - and almost two months in, everything about the studio has been exceptional. It has a very different "feel" from other gyms and doesn't have that corporate feel that comes with the big box gyms. The staff learns everybody's names and greets you coming and going. The gym is clean, quiet and well stocked with weights, yoga mats, etc. My preferred way of working out is group exercise. All of the classes I have taken (Yoga, Pilates, Barre and Body Sculpt) have been excellent. I appreciate the ease of signing up in advance via the app and that class size is limited. Instructors are wonderful. Classes are not repetitive as I've experienced in other gyms. They instructors design and personalize their classes so that there is always something new. The classes are small enough that they can walk around and provide assistance as needed. Great place! read more

For a non-gym person, I highly encourage you to try The Well Studio. It's just the right size, not too big (or crowded) or too small (feel like you can't blend in if that's what you like). I started here in January, after deciding to switch from Pilates (wasn't getting the same results). Took advantage of the 2 week trial and I tried EVERYTHING!
