They offer free classes, personal training, and I never have to wait for equipment. While I mostly stick to cardio, I've also started exploring the weights. The perks are amazing--I love hitting the sauna in the locker room post-workout. Plus, the locker rooms are fully stocked with soaps and hair dryers, and there's even a meditation room. To top it off, the staff is always incredibly friendly and welcoming!

The Body Pump classes--especially Rachel's--are fantastic and definitely a highlight of my workouts. Cons: On the downside, the cardio machines are definitely outdated and need an upgrade. The women's locker room feels quite dingy, and standard supplies like toilet paper are rarely refilled promptly. It really feels like management doesn't prioritize maintaining the club; for instance, the lights in the women's locker room were completely out for days, leaving us with just a few dim emergency bulbs.

Clean, well maintained space with great floors for dancing…read more I take Oula Fitness here which is a super fun class. Fun, top 40 music (with some deep cuts), easy-to-learn but challenging-to-keep-doing moves, and a great work out. Instructors and other class members are friendly and personable and push you if you want to be push and leave you be if that's what you want too. Their slogan is "it's not about how it looks; it's about how it feels," - and it feels great! Online registration is easy and quick.

Compfit is my all-time favorite studio in the Seattle area. I love it because they have Oula…read moreclasses, which is the best dance fitness class ever, and the owner, Eric, is easy to work with. The studio itself is relatively small, as it's one mirrored room with a bathroom in the corner, but has enough space for 20+ people in one fitness class. They provide yoga mats, towels, hair ties, and a shelf to put your belongings in. There's a fun disco light that sometimes gets used in select dance fitness classes, and also warm twinkle mood lights for the more relaxing yoga classes. There's street parking, which is decently easy to find (I've gone here for almost 2 years and I've never not been able to find a spot within a 5 min walk). Now, for the classes they offer here. As mentioned above, Oula is the best. It's a 50-minute high-energy dance fitness cardio class that's full of fun and sexy moves choreographed to the latest pop hits. What I love most is how empowering the class is--it's mostly women (everyone is welcome though!) singing and dancing together to uplifting songs. I can always count on Oula to cheer me up on a bad day. P.S. if you do try Oula, I recommend booking at least your first class with Quincy, as she's especially good at getting you pumped while shouting out the moves to help you follow along. The studio also offers other classes, including Barre, Pop Pilates, Hoopnotica, Zumba, yoga (in the form of Oula One), and Mixxedfit. There's a wide range of classes for you to try, so you really can't go wrong here! I originally found Compfit through Groupon and got addicted REAL quick. I am now on the 6-month membership, which makes booking classes super easy. Takeaway: Compfit makes working out fun and easy through various group fitness classes. I highly recommend trying this studio out!

I came here based on a recommendation to see Ellen Roth for some physical therapy for my back pain…read more After being in pain for weeks with lower back pain, I was starting to think about going to get a MRI and having thoughts of having a ruptured disc. But, I was told to come see Ellen as she's the best PT in Seattle; this is so true. Without going through the details Ellen sat down with me and we talked about my pain, she looked at how I walked, stood and observed my posture. She checked every vertebrae and was able to diagnose my problem. A few body rotations, a tug here and push here and she helped me almost immediately. She told me what I need to do at home to strengthen my back, gave me some instructions for me and for my massage therapist. Let me say, going here and seeing Ellen along with my massage therapist (see other review) saved my back. I'm so blessed to know some of the best that helped me!!
